Return of the Fallen Volume 10 Chapter 13
After leaving Alutra and Detra to play, Kazuki went about his business. With a single thought, his aura stretched and expanded across the entire planet. Covering the skies up above and drilling into the very depths of the world, there was no place he could not reach in Gordonia. With his aura surrounding the entire world, there was no escape for those who wished it.
Kazuki’s mind reached there’s as he called out to these individuals.
(By now you know who I am. Maybe not by name but by action surely. I am called Kazuki and I am the strongest being in this Realm without a doubt. You may be wondering why I have surrounded the world with my power and contacted you all today. The answer is simple. Submit to me. This world has recently gone through drastic changes as you all are aware. I do not wish to see such drastic changes occur again anytime soon if ever. Because of that, there are going to be certain changes around here. All I ask for is your loyalty. Give it to me and you will go unharmed. Your lives will be majorly unaffected. No one will bother you just as before and peace can be established between us all. Refuse, then there is only one path for you…DEATH. This choice may seem unfair and you may have problems with it but I don’t care, that’s what having absolute strength entitles me. Make your answer known. Speak out right now and I will hear you. Refuse me…Well, you already know.)
These words of Kazuki were not hidden in any way. They were clear threats but Kazuki didn’t care. He was the strongest and he no longer wanted his people to live in fear and wanted them to all know peace. If he couldn’t return them back to Earth, then the least he could do is make this world a safe place for them.
The instant Kazuki gave this ultimatum, several calls came back. In this world, those that could destroy it could be counted on two hands. There were 5 other Titans hidden around the that did not include Detra, Zetrazz, or Torzz. After the Titan’s there were 3 Ancient beasts that had not involved themselves with the war in any way and had stayed hidden. After them, there was one other being. To Kazuki’s surprise, this person was half-human mixed with something else, something he had no knowledge of. These hidden experts totaled 9 individuals altogether.
All in all, everyone accepted except two of the Titans. They didn’t give Kazuki the time of day and ignored him.
(So you two have made your choice? Fine, die.)
Kazuki’s aura surrounded them and the two tried to fight back but they quickly realized they were completely overwhelmed. They knew Kazuki was strong but they thought it was so much. They had only witnessed some of his fight, after all, Zetrazz, Torzz, and Detra blocked outsiders with their power. This covered most of the battlefield so most of the fight was hidden from even these experts. To them, they had witnessed Kazuki nearly dying a few times and his strength wasn’t as much as it is now. His fight across space they had missed entirely. It was when he was in space that he had gained the most strength, as he devoured part of a world and more. They didn’t know he was this powerful and immediately regretted their decision. Even Kazuki’s aura was too much for them.
Both immediately tried to surrender but Kazuki was not one to be so lenient.
His aura grabbed hold of them and crushed them instantly. The very next moment he created rifts and teleported their remains to him where he devoured them right then and there.
Two Titans entered his soul world and were sucked into his spinning void. Kazuki’s strength grew once more. Kazuki could have let these two go after they surrendered but that would be sending the wrong message. He needed to show these powerful individuals that he was not one to be crossed. Besides that though there was another reason. One of the Titans was an individual called Aruzai. Aruzai was not particularly strong but he possessed a special treasure.
A ring that could leave a soul mark on someone. This soul mark was in the shape of a lion dog head. Every now and then the soul mark would awaken and eat one’s Mage core until there was nothing left. It was Aruzai who had fought with Glacious long ago and had left that very same soul mark on him. Aruzai then using his superior fleeing skills, he managed to escape from Glacious killing blow. Aruzai ran away with his tail between his legs while also doing the unthinkable and weakening Glacious to such a degree that he decided to seal himself away in his tiny world. Because of this, Glacious was unaware of the dangers that surrounded Lamia and her husband and could not help them when they needed it most.
Kazuki knew how Glacious felt about Aruzai and how much regret Glacious had for not being there for his little sister and her husband. Kazuki had received all of Glacious’s memories and experiences, this also meant he received these same regrets and this same hatred for Aruzai. Killing him was something Kazuki decided to do for Glacious, hoping this would bring him a little more peace in the afterlife.
With these hidden experts submitting to him, Kazuki moved on to his next bit of business. His aura still spread out, it fell down upon the dark continent, mainly over Fera’s palace. There were a few hundred Azirians that still remained. These were mainly ones that were used as guards for the palace or servants and whatnot. When the magic tool, the crown was destroyed, some of them simply went dormant and stood around like mindless puppets. Some ran around or flew about like chickens with their heads cut off, attacking things unconsciously.
These Azirian’s were no threat to Kazuki but they could be to regular folk. They could still eat people and infect them, turning them into Azirian’s. Kazuki, with a simple thought, destroyed them with his aura in an instant. This didn’t end some of the troublesome matters that Fera left over. On the dark continent itself, it was filled with monsters and beasts who roamed about unimpeded. Fera simply didn’t care. This in itself wasn’t a problem rather the people left behind were.
There were a little less than 30 thousand people who remained on the dark continent, not by choice. Many of them were servants who worked for Fera in her palace or farmers who grew her food and built and crafted things that she was simply too lazy to do herself. These people were only alive today because they were useful to her.
Kazuki wondered if he should simply bring them to Feya where the danger would be greatly lessened where they could live safely but he didn’t know if they would want that nor if they weren’t vile people. Kazuki’s aura covered them all and entered every single one of their soul worlds at the same time. With such weak souls, they were easy to inspect and put up no resistance to him. His aura came upon their soul trees and connected to them. In a flash, all of their memories, good and bad came flooding into Kazuki’s mind.
So many thoughts and memories all at once could easily overwhelm most others and shatter their psyche into a million fragments but Kazuki was already at the Convergence stage, his mind and soul had been expanded again and again and again to such a level that even if a billion peoples individual memories and thoughts entered his mind it would do nothing to him.
A fraction of a second later, Kazuki had seen and sifted through all of these memories. All of the good, all of the bad, sad, happy, evil things these people had ever done. Most were good people and merely kept their heads down and slaved away trying to not get killed. A few though were not ones any would invite to a meal and were better off dead.
For those that were good, Kazuki asked them if they wished to come to a better land, a good land where they could live without fear and could be safe. There was zero hesitation.
Kazuki contacted King Brian who was already busy himself. Once King Brian heard Kazuk inside his head, he thought he went mad but Kazuki quickly convinced him otherwise and told him about the people. When King Brian heard about these people, he became excited.
(Almost 30,000 skilled laborers, craftsmen, and farmers, absolutely, can you send them to me now!)
King Brian was actually in desperate need of such skilled people. After the war and devastation, it was this exact time when such people were needed.
Kazuki didn’t wait. His aura moved and he created thousands of rifts at once and pulled these people along with whatever they had on them. Since they were equal to slaves in Fera’s eyes, they owned no possessions besides the clothes on their backs. Once these people appeared in Feya, King Brian was already there. He introduced himself and had people waiting to help settle them.
These people were confused at first but after Kazuki spoke to them and then King Brian, they understood a little better about what was going on.
With the good separated from the bad, Kazuki sent his aura down atop Fera’s palace and reduced it to dust then and there. He wanted no part of it. After that, it was time to help a few others.
