Return of the Fallen Volume 10 Chapter 135
Days passed into months and Kazuki’s 2nd fracture had nearly healed. The Realm was secure and even when there were intruders, they were dealt with almost instantly. Before these foes knew what happened, they would be surrounded by Titan Golems and made immobile before their souls were reduced to nothingness. Every now and again Kazuki would intercept these enemies even before the Titan Golems and would absorb their souls with his soul reading ability.
This made the healing process accelerate by leaps and bounds.
On top of this, while everyone else was having fun, Danny would be researching and Old sid would be forging. Kazuki and Arc were busy running around the Realm storing the energy of many stars and Arc was absorbing the Origin energy inside.
Like this, a progress-filled year passed fairly quickly.
“Is everyone ready? Once we go to Earth, getting back will most likely take another full year or at least until Arc has gathered enough energy again. So if there’s something your forgetting, it will be left behind.”
No one seemed to have forgotten anything and everyone was buzzing to go.
Asuna seemed nervous but with a little encouragement from Sam and Nunully, she soon relaxed.
“Everyone has their storage ring?”
Everyone held up their hand to show Kazuki. Each one had a ring colored in dull white.
“Remember, there is not a lot of magical energy back on Earth. I don’t know about the rest of the Realm there but in case there’s little to no energy in the rest of the space, each of your rings has several thousand Cosmic crystals. With that supply of energy, you could last for quite a while without the need for any outside supply of energy. Still, you should go in mind with the idea of reserving your power as much as possible until we know what’s up. Any questions?”
Tozu wondered out loud.
“How will we pay for things. My wife, my little brother, and I will definitely be wanting to partake in all of the cuisine and delicacies. This is yall’s world, I know you don’t want us causing any trouble while there so how shall we handle this?”
Kazuki thought for a moment before he remembered.
“I still have an identity in that world with a large sum of funds, which I can share once we get there. No one will go hungry believe me. Is there anything else?”
No one said anything.
“Arc I guess we’re ready when you are.”
Arc began to buzz with purple electricity. The Origin energy within began to move before Arc spoke coldly.
“Everyone come close together and grab hold of one another. I don’t wish to waste more energy than necessary to get this done. If you let go, I won’t be responsible for you falling out into some random ass Realm so keep that in mind. Here we go.”
Arc began to pulse and dense pure energy surrounded Kazuki and everyone else. Mei who was swinging her hands to and fro in excitement instantly got a thump on the top of her head from her mother.
“Don’t play right now and hold on tight Mei Mei!”
Mei grumbled but she behaved and listened to her mother’s words before holding her and Danny’s hand tightly. This caused a few to chuckle but no one could blame her. They were all excited. Some to return home, some just because they wanted to see their family, and others simply because they wanted to explore and tour.
Arc quickly located Earth and shot out a beam of energy. This energy contained the elements of space coated and guided with Origin energy. Very quickly a rift opened. At first, it was merely the size of a fist and was clearly unstable and tremored as if it were ready to buckle.
Arc continued to glow with radiant light and poured more and more Origin energy into this tiny rift with concentrated precision.
The rift widened by a fairly large margin and created a great suction force that very few could shake off.
“Hold on tight, it’s coming!”
The rift stabilized and was around 7ft tall. The suction force suddenly increased thousands of times. If they did not have strong physiques this process would have torn them to pieces. A shift in gravity changed and the rift seemed to encompass them all in an instant before their vision filled with darkness.

Across a near-infinite distance, a rift opened above a small world, above Earth.
The very moment this rift opened it grew and increased in size time and time again rapidly before stabilizing and spitting out several people. The moment they all arrived, the rift closed instantly.
Arc was kidding, it wanted to waste as little energy as possible and closed the very second they arrived.
Everyone felt a little weird. The effects of traveling multiple Realms at once, it was different from simply moving from one place to another and it felt as if a few things had been rearranged inside.
None of them cared though. As soon as they got their barring, they saw the soft glow of the blue world beneath them.
(EARTH!)
Shaila tilted her head slightly.
(Kazuki what are all these metal items floating around the world? Are these like the golems you and Danny produce? Are these the protectors of this world?)
Kazuki shook his head. He wasn’t entirely sure but from what he remembered they looked like the satellites he had seen on t.v.
Kazuki gave a brief explanation and then Danny promptly took it from there but most of the information went right over Shaila’s head. She could only grasp the basics of it.
“So they hold a bunch of information and they share it with those on the ground. Interesting.”
Shaila quickly flew toward one and reached out to touch one but the moment she did, Tozu grabbed her and pulled her away.
“Dear, we shouldn’t go around touching these random things what if you break it.”
“Break it, I merely was going to take a small glimpse and nothing more. You assume these things are that fragile.”
“No, Tozu is right, those are pretty brittle. They are made of weak materials at least when compared to your strength Shaila. Look around at all the tiny pieces of scrap, there is junk all over that was once something else. These things can’t even handle crashing into one another without being destroyed. It’s best we leave these things alone or it could make things complicated for those living down there.”
Shaila gave a nod.
“Ok, Kazuki. Shall we go now? I can’t wait to see other strange things.”
Tozu was slightly annoyed Shaila so readily accepted Kazuki’s words but he knew that’s just how his wife was and let it go.
“Sure, let’s go down now.”
Kazuki and everyone else descended downward at a fast rate toward japan.
At the same time, there was a commotion stirred up all over the world.
“Mister president urgent news!”
A man in a military uniform and several stars on him with sharp features gave a report to the president of the United States.
“At 0804 hundred hours several entities entered the Earth’s atmosphere and touched down mere seconds after entering.”
The general passed over a small folder.
“Is it extraterrestrial is it? I thought we had an agreement with those green bastards! If they went back on their word
“Mister president take a look first. I don’t think it’s aliens.”
Opening the folder, there were two pictures inside. One was of Shaila and another was a close-up of Kazuki and his group descending at hypersonic speeds.
“This…are they human?”
The general shook his head.
“There are a few experts in the world that can be considered superhuman. As you know these individuals are kept under strict watch and we know most of their capabilities. These humanoid looking entities have already exceeded what we have n record and match none of them. They traveled faster than any rocket we have in current production by several times.”
The president started to sweat.
“Even faster than the ones we currently know of and faster than our weapons.”
The general gave a nod before continuing.
“Mister president that isn’t all. As you know we have recognition software that automatically runs in the background. In the second picture, we picked up several matches to citizens of Japan and Korea.”
The general then began to read out names.
Shin, Asuna, Sam, Danny, and Kimi were all mentioned and identified.
“South Korea and Japanese. Were supposed to be allies and they have these hidden secrets! Hurry up and get me the Prime minister of Japan and the South Korean president on the line right now! They have some explaining to do.”
A secretary ran to a nearby phone and started dialing in a rush.
“Sir what should we do about russia and china. They are slower than us but they should be getting hold of this information eventually.”
The president thought for a moment before scoffing.
“Hmph, let them work their own shit out. This ain’t gonna bite me in the ass, not again. If they start trouble, we will have to step out with our own show of force. First I need to know what South Korea and Japan know. Now go get our hammer and tell him to head to Japan right away. If things break down, I want him there to show them who still runs this world.”
Similar conversations and actions were taking place all around the world and many people were now on the move. The attention of all world leaders in the know was now focusing in on Japan and Korea.
