Return of the Fallen Volume 10 Chapter 153

After that day, the world had been flipped upside down. One unintended change was the fact that nurses and doctors now had zero patients. This though wouldn’t last as Kazuki had only healed everyone that day. Afterward, if someone were to be injured of course they would return to a hospital. Plus there were still people that needed to remain due to certain conditions such as pregnancy and so on. This just made it so that there was a large vacation for the millions of nurses and doctors around the world.

Kazuki made sure these people were still paid during that time. It didn’t take that much convincing on his end. One of the reasons why many leaders around the world followed through was because some did not. The moment they were sent back to where they came from, quite a few thought that they could still find a way to get the upper hand. They refused to see reality and tried to secretly put together their own assassination plots.

Kazuki could read all of their souls from anywhere in the world, the moment they had plans to try and kill him, Kazuki instead killed them. Not only did he kill them but he did so in front of the rest of the world leaders. There was no longer any doubt nor any hesitance. Kazuki could not be beaten and to try was not only futile but resulted in immediate death.

While the world leaders were panicking left and right, the Champions of the world back down without a fight. They did not need this whole show as they were convinced the moment Black Dawn surrendered. They didn’t need to witness the moon being shattered to understand they had no chance. They accepted Kazuki’s strength much faster than their leaders did and who could blame them.

Meanwhile, the regular people of the world were celebrating. A spread of echoing cheers rose higher and higher as people took to the streets in pure joy. Mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, friends. Most people knew someone related to them that was injured or sick. For a moment in time, there were no more ill. No cancer eating away, no disease, no blindness, no missing limbs, everyone was made whole.

Some people wondered if this was a dream but seeing the farming mountain floating in the sky, and taking in the freshest breath of air ever known to man, they could only accept it as reality.

Those that starved, those that did not know of food security and had to scrape together every single meal, no longer knew hunger. The news and media didn’t even know where to begin with all of this. Eventually, the leaders around the world held a conference to try and explain the situation but they could only say a few words. They told the people not to worry nor to ask any further questions. This only blew up even more but there were no more answers for the public.

Kazuki said nothing else to them so they had nothing else to say. They did not wish to push their luck and say some shit they would regret so they chose silence.

Many people began to pray to Kazuki every day and new religions sprung up left and right but Kazuki quickly shut them down. He wanted none of it.

Instead, what he wanted was peace. This wasn’t something afforded to him by Asuna’s parents at first. They were terrified of Kazuki and the looks they gave him changed but Asuna continued to talk with them and eventually, she convinced them that they had nothing to fear. She told them about the many struggles they all had to go through and told them how manipulative and cruel their enemies had been. Many times they all nearly died and because of this, they had no choice but to rip their foes up and out by the roots, otherwise, it could bite them in the ass.

Asuna’s mother and father cried hearing what their daughter went through and they began to sympathize with and understand Kazuki. Add to the fact they could see how crazy the world had become from the changes Kazuki brought. People were actively searching and trying to find any clue to Kazuki’s whereabouts. Seeing this, Asuna’s parents realized a lot of what Kazuki had done was to protect them.

They were just normal people. They had no power to defend themselves against the governments and countries of the world. Kazuki showed the world what he was capable of so that others would not threaten and use Asuna’s parents as hostages against him. Knowing what he was capable of, it kept Asuna’s parents along with Sam’s father safe from these forces.

With that said, Kazuki still wasn’t relaxing just yet. Not because he was worried about something rather he still had a few things to do. He talked to the leaders of the world again and this time he included many scientists researchers and the media. He told them that he would soon be removing many stars from space and to not be alarmed. At first, this news was terrifying but later Kazuki explained how this would not affect any of them whatsoever.

The only difference would be there would be a few less stars in the night sky. He never told them why he was doing this and they hadn’t the courage to ask. Kazuki only even brought this to their attention because he didn’t want a panic to spread around the world. They were allowed to tell the people but to just break the news calmly.

He didn’t really care if the people panicked but he knew if they were panicking, thinking the world or universe or whatnot was ending, it would make his touring of the world and seeing the sights quite annoying. He would have just told everyone around the world through their minds but the last time he did that a bunch of weird religions popped up. He thought it would be better to leave it to regular folk to relay the message.

With that things calmed down. During the day, Kazuki and the others would travel around the world looking at all the sights and trying the various different foods, and exploring the many cultures of the world. Kazuki had seen plenty when he was on Earth a while ago but at that time he was obsessed and focused on one thing and one thing only, revenge. Because of that, he was blinded to all of the wonders and beauty of the world.

This time things had greatly changed. Now he had loved ones, friends to share and laugh with, to experience and enjoy all of these things together.

As they traveled, Kazuki would teleport everyone and Kimi would surround them all with light, making them invisible when they first arrived so as to not cause a scene. After arriving, Kazuki would hand out stacks of cash to everyone and they would just have a good time. Kazuki shared his memory with everyone who didn’t know about the different banknotes and numbers on the money before letting them go wild.

Walking through a mall was quite an experience. They had never seen so many interesting things that held no practical use and were made mainly for entertainment.

Whether it be little nick-knacks here and there or food court snacks, everyone had a blast. Mei and Kosaru of course mainly bought candy and toys or rather Nei bought the items. Kosaru looked like a small pet in the eyes of others so he simply told Mei what he wanted and she would buy it for him. Mei felt proud like she was a big sister taking care of her little brother.

They had no idea what many of these things were but these toys made weird sounds and lit up and that was more than enough to capture their imagination.

Shaila found a store that had wigs and found them funny and bought out half the store. Lamia was immediately pulled in by the lingerie store and she pulled Tsura and Nunully in with her. Later Tsura found the kitchen accessories and her eyes lit up. Gadgets that chopped, spun, mixed, separated, juiced, fried, peeled, and so on. Plus all of the cookbooks. Tsura bought a copy of everyone and all the kitchen appliances she could grab.

Tozu found a simple lighter and he was fascinated by it. Kazuki found this funny because Tozu could literally make a flame hotter than many stars yet he was locked in on this tiny lighter. This lighter was his favorite purchase. Sasai initially had only a small amount of interest but eventually, he walked by a set of monitors. Each one was playing different shows and one such show had a girl band singing and dancing.

Sasai felt something inside he had never felt before. Instead of fear or disgust, he felt something rising in him and he wanted to try it out. After several hours, everyone had bought something they liked. When they were finished, Shin took them to see a movie. Triska had been asking about movies ever since he had told her about them so it became a fun little trip.

They didn’t even have to go far as there was a movie theater built right inside of the mall.

They all watched a little animated movie to test the waters. It had a few musical numbers along with magical creatures that fought for friendship. Kazuki thought it was rather childish but everyone else from Gordonia was mesmerized. Later on, when they left it was the only thing they could talk about.

Just like that, their first day of relaxation had passed.
