Return of the Fallen Volume 10 Chapter 157
Time flew by and before one knew it, a month and a half had passed. Everything was now set. On the day of the wedding, Kazuki finally removed his aura from the island the ladies had made and everyone arrived at the same time. Even though the ladies had come together to make the island, they left the decorating up to Kazuki because he was the only one who knew everything about the many different faunas.
Kazuki didn’t think this was necessarily a good reason but he didn’t have any complaints. It was better than doing nothing. Besides, for him it truly was easy. He had the supplies and what he didn’t have he could make with alchemy and magic. Add on the fact that he could take a look at the best decorators and designers in the world, several plans came together very naturally.
When everyone arrived on the island, they were stunned at what they saw.
Fields of flowers as far as a regular human could see. A forest of natural beauty and open plains of soft flowing grass that somehow reflected the morning sun as it waved to and fro in the breeze. Along the open plains, there were thousands of little animals. Rabbits, squirrels, and birds here and there. They looked as if they had lived on this island for thousands of years and made one admire the environment.
Kazuki had simply put these animals here because the place seemed kind of lonely without real-life moving about. At the same time, he knew several of the ladies would absolutely love seeing cute little furry creatures hopping around. All around the island, there were waterfalls and long winding streams that showed off the curves of the land. Hills and valleys sprinkled around a single mountain.
A distant hot spring for relaxing and a beautiful white sand beach lined the shore. A long path from the start of the island had gorgeous trees overhanging the path. One could take shelter under their shade as they walked toward the center of the island. These trees all had flowers blooming on them and with it came a rain of pedals as the wind blew.
These pedals were colored pink and a cream-colored white. As they fell gently to the ground, it was as if honey-scented snow danced all around them. Walking under the trees, the path showcased all of the beauty of the island and eventually led one to the very center of this place.
At the center was a tall palace. It was made of white marble and encased with gold.
It looked as if it were made for a princess. Seeing all of this, the women were almost hypnotized by it all.
“Kazuki, you did all of this?”
Nunully could hardly believe it. She knew so much about Kazuki, all of them did. They had seen his memories and witnessed his life but seeing what he did now, opened a new world in their eyes.
“I got a few ideas along the way but I figured you only get married once. I should make it memorable, right?”
Nunully jumped into Kazuki’s arms and kissed him.
None of them knew Kazuki had this side to him and were mesmerized by this place. Even if they designed the landscape, they did not think it could be this wonderful. it was enchanting like a fairytale and today it was all theirs.
Asuna walked over and grabbed Nunully.
“Alright already you’re doing too much and the wedding hasn’t even started. It’s bad luck for a groom to see a bride before the wedding and here he is seeing us both. Come on and leave him alone so we can go and get ready.”
Nunully giggled before patting Asuna on the head.
“I used to secretly get annoyed when you interrupted me and Kazuki, now I know it’s because you were wishing inside that it was you and you were just being jealous. Asuna you don’t have to hold back anymore, he’s ours from this day on, so loosen up a little.”
Asuna’s face flushed red and she slapped Nunully’s hand away in embarrassment.
“Who’s jealous. I…I…I’m just trying to get ready. I don’t want to be late for my own wedding, hmph.”
Kazuki stood in front of Asuna. He could read her soul and knew Nunully’s words were spot on. Even if he couldn’t read her soul, Asuna was way too obvious. As Asuna looked up at him with a pout, Kazuki quickly pulled her in and kissed her for a few seconds. Asuna felt his warm lips on hers and began to melt in his embrace before Kazuki quickly cut it short leaving her shocked.
He smiled devilishly before teasing her.
“Your right Asuna, you two should stop playing here and get ready.”
Asuna was still half way dazed but she snapped out of it seeing Kazuki smile and tease her.
“You…Just you wait, I’m gonna make sure you take me seriously, to…TONIGHT!”
As these words leaped from her mouth, Asuna instantly teleported away to go get ready.
Kazuki and Nunully both laughed but half a second later Asuna came back and grabbed her family who had been watching on the sidelines the entire time. This only made it that much funnier and everyone else laughed.
Lamia came over and took Nunully away before Tsura, Mei and Danny came over.
“Kazuki, all of this is beautiful.”
Tsura was left charmed by this and she felt both happy and as well as a little sad. Somehow she was reminded of her previous husband when she looked at the nearby forest. Kazuki could read her soul and he nodded.
“It is beautiful but not nearly as beautiful as you are. After everything, we’ve been through, and now you came here with Danny. I have no doubt that you will be happy and if Danny doesn’t make you happy, I’ll be sure to rip into him.”
Tsura nodded. She felt Kazuki was talking about both the past and future. One part was over and a new part was about to begin. Tsura hugged Kazuki before she left to join the other ladies.
Danny didn’t quite get what that was about but he wouldn’t disappoint Tsura.
“Kazuki why does it feel like your Tsura’s dad and you’re about to give away the bride?”
Kazuki shrugged.
“Hell if I know. I’m simply stating facts. Tsura comes from a different world and she’s been through it just as much as us. Don’t let her down.”
Danny nodded.
“That would be impossible for me to do. Not just for her but for little Mei as well. I won’t let either of them down.”
Mei was bouncing up and down and running all over the place with Kosaru. The two raced together and ended up in front of Kazuki and were full of excitement.
“Big bro, you didn’t say you could make it all beautiful like this. Now me and Little Kosaru have a million more ideas and we need to add them to our park.”
Danny looked at the three.
“Park, what park?”
Mei’s eyes lit up.
“Big brother is going to build us the biggest most amazing amusement park in the world. It’s gonna have the craziest obstacle course and the fastest rides and cotton candy and and and…
Mei trailed off and Danny led both her and Kosaru away. Meanwhile, Kazuki was shaking his head.
(I never said I would build a whole amusement park, the little devil.)
*TZzzzt*
Arc lit up with a bit of static.
(You know how she is. the moment you said you would make anything for her, you knew she would go all out. You know your gonna make it for her so why have that expression?)
(Of course, I’m gonna make it for her. I just think it’s funny how quickly things snowball. By the way, why are you trying to read my expressions?)
Arc was quiet for a moment before it said.
(I don’t know. Maybe curiosity. I’ve never seen you so happy before. Even when there is a task to be done like building something extravagant for Mei and Kosaru, you keep on smiling like an absolute idiot. I’m starting to wonder if getting married is that big of a deal.)
Kazuki shrugged.
(I’ve wondered that myself before. Thinking about it now I’m still not 100% sure. I know I love both of them but for some reason, I can stop thinking I’m going to mess it all up somehow and ruin it. At the same time, I can no longer see a world without the two of them in it. I thought about my life over and over again and a world without them is not a world for me. Envisioning the future, being with the three of them, I’m finally happy. For the longest time, I thought I didn’t deserve such a thing, I didn’t really even know if it was possible to be happy but it’s true…I’m happy.)
Arc noticed something out of place.
(Did you say being with the three of them? that’s not like you to make mistakes.)
A large grin spread across Kazuki’s face.
(Who said it was a mistake?)
Arc quickly realized what he meant.
(Pregnant…Really, which one?)
(Heh, should I tell you or keep it a surprise. Even those two don’t know yet as it’s still too small but I can feel it, a new soul has come to be.)
If Arc had eyes it would be rolling them right now.
(Fine, keep your secrets.)
Kazuki began to laugh and Sam and Kimi both found it weird as they came over.
“Sam, what’s wrong with him this time?”
