Return of the Fallen Volume 10 Chapter 84
A few days had now passed. Kazuki spent his time with Danny, Detra, and old Sid as they worked out their plans. Sid had already made a prototype magic device that would produce Cosmic crystals. At the same time, Detra personally oversaw all of the Magi tech engineers and craftsmen. All of the expert Mages and builders they had brought in, answered to her.
There were a few Ancient Beasts that were potentially going to be implemented under Kazuki but in the end, Kazuki decided against it. Like many that had earned their strength beforehand, arrogance was a known issue. Kazuki couldn’t put his trust in new allies, humans, beasts, or anything other than what he already knew.
In the meantime, Kazuki created another world. This one was a much harsher place. It was tough and durable and could really take a beating. Its sole purpose was to be a factory or a workshop for Danny’s idea. In order to create Danny’s vision and bring it into reality, one needed great physical and magic prowess. Some of the lesser materials were made by the craftsmen back on Gordonia but here in this blacksmith’s paradise, forging heavy materials was literally a groundbreaking achievement.
Literally, the world would shake and tremble under the amount of force Danny and Kazuki would deliver as they made the particular parts necessary for these new Golems.
A normal Golem could easily defeat tose at the 3rd stage and below. A more advanced Golem, something Glacious had made long ago could handle those at the 4th stage. When Sid built Danny’s Golem body, it was made from God metal and with such a body he could easily take on those at the 4th stage and go toe to toe with opponents at the 5th stage. Now Kazuki and Danny were creating something, building something that could delay a 7th stage being.
This was in no way an easy feat. There was no known material in this Lower Realm that could withstand a 6th stage beings power, let alone a 7th stage. Kazuki though was not entirely lost and with both Danny, Detra and Sids, help they came up with something none had witnessed in this Realm.
The sound of hammering echoed out and shook this new forged world of lava and metal. A rift opened up in the sky and both Asuna and Nunully came through.
At the bottom of a large mountain made entirely of god metal, the two ladies spotted both Kazuki and Danny. Danny held a large round sphere of metal in his hands. Its size was about as big as a human head. While Danny did this, Kazuki raised a single fist high above his head. Lightning began to rain down and struck the metal ball. The moment the hundredth bolt struck the sphere, the hair on both Kazuki and Danny rose up and Kazuki knew now was the time to act.
His balled-up fist came crashing down atop the metal ball faster than the lightning before it. The air ripped away and a powerful force caused the mountains and oceans of lava to rise into the sky. In a fraction of a second, Kauzki’s fist made contact with the metal ball.
*KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*
In an instant, the mountains and the ocean’s worth of lava were all vaporized, everything on the surface of the world was no more and the became black as hundreds of black holes formed from all of the condensed energy all around. Danny as well sunk half a mile into the ground but he immediately flew back up and the two stared with wide eyes as they looked at the once sphere.
Its shape had changed and the sphere had a large dent in its center. One could fill a cup of water with the space inside. When Kazuki and Danny saw this, they both became excited.
“Kazuki it’s working just like you said!”
“True enough. The only thing that’s difficult is controlling the amount of strength I put in. The moment my fist comes into contact with this, I have to change my strength and adjust it thousands of times in a single moment. Too much strength in one spot can fracture it while too little and we wont get the reaction we wish.”
Danny nodded before tossing the dented sphere to Kazuki and shaking out his wrist.
“Still, even with you holding your strength back in certain aspects, it’s not something I can keep taking. I need a break before I actually break in two.”
Danny took a look at the fucked up planet and sighed.
“Not just me, it looks like you need to repair this place again.”
Kazuki looked at his handy work and nodded. Sure enough, the planet was wrecked. With a wave of his hand, the world began to change under his power. If he hadn’t been holding back not just the world but the entire Realm would have been broken apart. Kazuki not only held back but he also covered this world in his aura and so to did Danny. Kazuki could fold his aura a few thousand times while Danny could nearly fold his own a thousand. With both of their auras coating this world together, it prevented the destruction of this firey planet time and again.
“Kazuki, lunch is done!”
Just as the black holes were repaired and the ocean of lava reformed, Nunully jumped into Kazuki’s embrace while calling out.
Kazuki smiled at her before he cautiously asked.
“Who…who made it?”
Nunully immediately began to pout and Asuna landing nearby laughed and said.
“Don’t worry, Nunully didn’t make it this time, it was Tsura.”
Kazuki and Danny both felt relief hearing this but Nuunully pouted some more.
“My cooking isn’t that bad.”
Asuna’s ring lit up and a foreign burnt object landed in her hand.
“Are you already forgetting what you did this morning? Look at this and tell me what it is, if you even can?”
Nunully became embarrassed and yelled.
“Why did you keep that!”
Asuna flipped it like a coin before catching it.
“This is a reminder. Not just for me but for anyone who’s to be your victim in the future. Never again.”
“You you, It’s not my fault. I grew up without ever cooking. Mama would just have the girls that knew how, do it for us. Hmph, at least I tried though. All you can do is eat the food, that’s why your ass is getting fatter.”
Nunully’s immediately covered her mouth as she realized what she had just slipped. Asuna’s eyelid began to twitch before she poked Nunully’s side teasingly.
“And just who is getting fat. As I recall these bodies we got were in perfect condition but look who’s already getting love handles.”
“WHAT!”
Dark blue scales erupted all over Nunully’s body and large wings made of ice-covered her back. At the same time, Red scales with a bit of purple appeared all over Asuna, and wings made of dark fire spread out from behind her.
Before anything happened, Kazuki reached forward and Nunlly’s ice was suppressed in an instant and disappeared.
“Nunully that’s enough and Asuna you too. The truth is neither one of you can cook. Nunully you may have not seen it but back on Earth when I was spying on them, Asuna once tried to make a cake and it basically exploded on her.”
This time it was Asuna who became embarrassed.
“How could you mention that, no wait what else did you see when you were spying on me. Kazuki…did you…did you watch me get dressed?”
Kazuki shook his head.
“Why would I watch you get dressed. I merely observed your day to day, there was no need to see what you did in your bedroom. And the only reason why I mentioned that is because you’re carrying that burnt I don’t know potato around with you just to mess with Nunully.”
Nunully stuck out her tongue definitely but Kauzki’s scolding came round to her.
“You to Nunully, I just made this world a few days ago but I’ve already warned you not to use your ice here. With your power, it drastically reduces the heat. To continue forging this new metal, Danny and I need all the heat we can get. It’s not easy to maintain the temperature of this world, while also constantly protecting it with aura, controlling my strength channeling magic, repairing blackholes, and so on. Every time I deliver a blow to this sphere, it saps the heat, and then we have to bring this planet back up to temperature. To heat a whole world it takes more time than expected so each strike to this sphere is a few hours apart.”
Nunully felt bad but there was still some resistance in there.
“Sorry. Can’t you get Tozu to help keep the planet heated? That way you can remove some of the burdens.”
Asuna felt slightly annoyed. After she got her new body, she picked up the element of fire. She could do what Tozu did when it came to fire so she knew Nunully was still picking at her with this question.
Kazuki shook his head.
“Tozu and Asuna for that matter have just recently entered the 7th stage. The control over their powers is still not enough. I need absolute precision. So the only one who can manipulate the fire how I need it is me. As for the other tasks in this world, I leave those to Danny. Even though like Tozu and the rest of you, he just entered the 7th stage, Danny’s control is far superior. I would have asked my aunt but apparently, she is busy playing with her…so-called baby. That or she’s bugging Detra off somewhere. For now, this job is something only Danny and I can do.”
Both Asuna and Nunully felt a little useless. Danny gave Kazuki a look and Kazuki as well knew his words came off a certain way and added.
“Don’t worry though. There is something that only the two of you can do and without your help, it would make the next stage extremely difficult for us.”
Asuna and Nunully both grew excited.
“What is it!?”
“Yes tell us Kazuki. We want to help with whatever we can.”
“In a bit, first, let’s go have lunch.”
