Return of the Fallen Volume 11 Chapter 110
Simmons was already pissed at Kazuki and now these two children who were related to him had barged into the dining room and sat down and with no regard for his master, began to eat his young master’s food without permission. Simmons saw this as the perfect opportunity to take a little revenge on Kazuki through the children. He could sense that they were at the same level as him so he felt no need to restrain himself and unleashed all of his aura atop them at once.
A large pressure came crashing down on them as they had just started to eat. Simmons had done this before Samuel or anyone else could say anything and Simmons just figured he would come up with an excuse later and say it was accidental. He felt giddy inside at the thought of harming Kosaru and Mei and couldn’t wait to hear their innocent screams but the anguished cries never came.
Simmons looked at the two children in surprise. The two were completely unharmed. Instead, they looked at Simmons with a dangerous light in their eye. Mei glared at him and barked.
“WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING TO ME AND MY LITTLE BROTHER!”
Simmons didn’t know what to say or how to respond. He still felt he was justified and was about to explain it away but before he could Mei grew louder. This time it was her aura that came rushing out like a river.
“YOU CAN’T HEAR ME! I SAID WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY BROTHER!”
A powerful force erupted from within her and her aura tore through Simmons’s own aura and pushed him to the ground in one single move. He felt all of his bones creak and his flesh was squished and he could no longer breathe nor move. He was suffocated and it felt like his body was about to burst under the pressure.
“Big brother told me about you. You are a traitor who almost got big brother killed and even after little Samuel allowed you to stay under him, you treat his guests like this. I’ll kill you.”
The pressure of Mei’s aura rose and Simmons’s body began to splinter as his flesh was being torn away from his body. Blood came through the ripped flesh and was forced to the ground as well. Mei was really going to kill Simmons.
Meanwhile, Samuel finally snapped out of it.
“Wait!”
Mei did not pay any attention to him and continued to crush Simmons. Just when he thought he was really about to die. Kazuki called out.
“Mei…That’s enough.”
Kazuki appeared next to her with a hand on her shoulder. As soon as he appeared, Mei and Kosaru both smiled and she pulled her power back and sat back down.
Simmons began to cough up blood and inhale as much air as possible. He rolled over like a sweaty pig and realized he was only another second or two from death. He looked up at Kazuki and Mei but found no energy to even be mad. He was exhausted from that short exchange and terrified.
Kazuki gave a soft smile.
“Samuel, you’ve already seen them but have not officially met. The angry one isn’t usually this angry. She’s called Mei and the tiny one covered in fur is called Kosaru.”
Mei was about to speak when Kazuki’s voice entered her and Kosaru’s minds.
(Remember, here I am known as Jentson. Whenever you talk to me or refer to me it is always Jentson.)
The two understood and Mei walked over. Stepping over Simmons, she held out a hand for Samuel. Samuel was nervous. He was still young but Mei was close to his age and she was a pretty girl in his eyes. He didn’t know if he should take her hand or not but that thought only lasted a moment when Mei grabbed his hand and shook it as she introduced herself.
“I’m Mei, the Big bird. I am the best flyer and I only got angry because your guy was being a big jerk but you don’t look like a jerk so so far so good. Since I’m older than you by a few years, I’ll be the Big sis and you the little brother, got it.”
Samuel didn’t know what to say. He was distracted by Mei’s appearance. Her long black hair that had fine silver tips at the end matched her black eyes that held tiny specks of silver like little stars. Samuel swallowed hard and his face became a little red. To him, Mei was beautiful.
As h was lost in her eyes, Mei raised a brow.
“Big brother, I think there’s something wrong with this guy. Is he broken or something?”
Kazuki could read the boy’s soul and understood immediately but even without his senses, it was obvious from the boy’s face and actions. Even Chaka noticed off to the side and tried her best to suppress a giggle.
“He’s fine…Right Samuel, you’re good, no?”
Samuel realized everyone was watching him but especially Mei. He quickly took his hand back and cleared his throat.
*Ahem*
“I’m perfectly fine, perfectly normal. No more than normal I’m great, I mean good…I’m good how are you?”
Samuel smiled awkwardly and Mei just laughed in his face.
“Hehehe, your kind of weird…I like that. Let’s get along little one.”
Samuel felt small hearing this.
“I am not little, so please don’t call me little one as for being your brother. We are not related so don’t treat me like a little brother. Call me Samuel like the others and uh…Yeah call me Samuel and treat me as a peer from now on.”
Mei tilted her head slightly before she laughed again.
“Hehe, yep, you’re weird weird. That’s fine though. As for calling you little, I can’t do that when you’re so small. Grow bigger and then you won’t be little no more and I won’t call you that. That’s fair right?”
Samuel was again at a loss for words and looked around Mei and at Kazuki as if he was asking if this girl was for real.
Kosaru ran over the table and grabbed Samuel’s hand as well. His speed was of course abnormal and not something a 3rd stage like Samuel could keep up with. Before Samuel could even be startled Kosaru pointed at himself while shaking Samuel’s hand.
“I’m Kosaru. I’m the fastest, well maybe not faster than Big brother but one day I’ll definitely beat him. I also get called little as well but it’s not so bad. When you’re really little, lots and lots of people want to give you free food. Big sis, Big brother, and lots and lots of others. I’ll show you how it’s done, little brother.”
This struck something in Samuel. Even the smallest Kosaru was calling him little brother.
“Alright, that’s enough for now. Since the introductions are over, let’s get down to the food. Before that, though shouldn’t you two thank Samuel? After all, this is his food.”
At the same time, Mei and Kosaru spoke.
“Thanks, little brother!”
Once more Samuel felt a bit of pain inside. One reason was that Mei who was a beautiful girl was treating him like a kid and the second reason was that Kosaru who was clearly younger and smaller than he was also acting like he was the younger brother in this scenario. Still, Samuel was not one to let this keep him down. He put on a smile and waved them off.
“It’s fine, eat as much as you want there’s plenty.”
When Kosar and Mei heard this, they gave one another a look before they both broke out in laughter.
Samuel didn’t understand.
“Did I say something weird just now? What is so funny?”
Once again Mei and Kosaru looked at one another before laughing. Mei picked up a large piece of meat on a bone before swallowing it whole.
“The funny thing is that this amount of food would not satisfy me even if my stomach was reduced by a thousandth.”
Samuel was still confused. To him, Mei was a normal girl who was at the 7th stage but Kazuki added.
“Mei is an Ancient beast of sorts. This much food is…not enough but don’t worry I have plenty of food. Once you all are done with this, I’ll supply the rest. They were just both interested in the food from a Higher Realm so they wanted to try this.”
Samuel, Chaka, and the others finally understood. Still, for this table full of food to not even scratch the surface, they wondered just how big her beast form was.
They then all curiously looked at Kosaru.
“Sir Jentson, is Kosaru also an Ancient Beast?”
To Samuel’s question, Kazuki could only shrug.
“Kosaru…I don’t actually know. He certainly could be and he has the features but…No, never mind. I’d say he’s most likely an Ancient beast but he could also be something different. For sure though, he’s definitely unique.”
Kosaru smiled with a mouthful of food and spoke out mumbled words.
“Hehe, I’m unique.”
