Return of the Fallen Volume 11 Chapter 116
Kazuki shared his knowledge of the basics when it came to aura. He gifted this to Samuel so the boy could not only gain a better power but also understand his own soul on a deeper level. Afterward, he left the boy to practice while he went to find Kosaru and Mei.
It wasn’t hard locating the two because the shop was not that big. Both were on the first floor playing with one another. When Kazuki appeared before them, the two became excited.
“Big brother, play with us!”
“Sorry little Kosaru, not right now. It’s time for your lessons. Both of you, come with me.”
Although they both wanted to keep playing, they knew that their lessons were far more important and they had already agreed to listen and follow Kazuki’s every word.
“Ok, but does not right now mean you’ll play with us later then?”
Kosaru looked at Kazuki in anticipation and Kazuki had no reason to refuse.
“Fine but only if you show me your hard work. If you slack, not only will I not play with you but both of you will have to train even harder. Is that fair?”
Kosaru smiled.
“Fair is fair. Let’s go let’s go. I want t hurry up and do the training as fast as possible then.”
Kazuki continued to smile but he knew the boy would be regretting these words. There was no time to go easy and let them slack. He was going to train and push them hard from the start.
After bringing them upstairs. Kazuki set up a barrier. Afterward, he took out a small bead smaller than a grain of sand from his storage ring.
“Big brother, one of your worlds?”
Kazuki said nothing before curling a finger. His power wrapped around both of them and pulled them into this tiny world without resistance. The very next moment a part of his consciousness entered the small world along with the kids.
Volcanoes erupted constantly and the air was filled with dry burning heat. No one under the 7th stage could survive in such a desolate and deadly world. The very moment the two children appeared inside, they immediately began to sweat. This was no ordinary small world but rather the smithing world Kazuki purposefully created so that he and Danny could craft Cosmic metal.
“Big brother, it’s so hot here.”
Kosaru was already upset but Kazuki did not care.
“Boy, this is just the start. The heat is nasty but it can not kill you. You are already starting off in a better situation than I did so no complaining. It’s time to start.”
Mei and Kosaru looked around but didn’t see Kazuki anywhere and could only hear his voice. Half a second later he formed a body using only the elements and a part of his consciousness. The body was made entirely of molten lava and dense pieces of fiery stone.
He looked like a demon of fire.
“Big brother that body is so cool. I want one just like it.”
“Kosaru if you do well I might teach you later. First, have a look at this.”
Kazuki extended a finger and shot some of his aura directly into the two and shared his memories and experiences with aura and ki. Unlike Samuel who he only taught the basics of aura. For Kosaru and Mei, he showed them aura, aura strengthening, aura breath, and how to create layers of aura. He also showed them how to use ki and the basics of it.
All of this information at once was almost too much but Kazuki helped settle the memories and experiences using his soul-reading ability. This allowed them to absorb everything without difficulty. With this profound new knowledge, the two of them looked at Kazuki with dumbfounded expressions. They knew he was powerful, they had witnessed many of his fights but they did not know to what extent. Now that they had received some of the same powers he used, they began to see the surface of his power and it was terrifying.
“Big brother, you…you were this capable. Mei is, amazed.”
Kosaru as well was gripping his fist shut. he was already circulating ki through his body and testing things out. he never felt as much power as he did now. It was incredible.
He casually closed a fist and punched forward. The air exploded around his fist and aura rushed around him like a storm.
“Big brother, I’m super super strong hehe.”
(Arc you were right in more ways than one. Kosaru really does have crazy potential. Mei as well, she’s already strengthening her body with ki. They both have their strong suits.)
(Of course, I was right. Did you think I was blind? The boy’s talents are high. As for the girls, she is more suited for magic attacks and high concepts.)
(You’ve yet to see her do anything and you’re making such claims. On what basis?)
(Hmph, Do I need a basis? I said it so it is so. Now hurry up and teach them and stop annoying me.)
Kazuki felt a headache approaching so he obliged Arc and ignored it.
He looked at the two and his aura began to rise. This got their attention right away.
(I didn’t show them how to mimic magic with their aura because that would be overloaded for now. First, they need to know how to control their aura and ki and how to use it at a moment’s notice. The best way for them to understand how to use it properly will be a first-hand experience.)
Using his soul-reading ability, Kazuki could perfectly interpret many things, including the best way to teach the two of them.
The moment they noticed Kazuki’s power rising was the moment Kazuki launched two attacks, one at each of them.
A wall of ki came slamming down atop Mei and a piercing shot of aura stabbed at Kosaru. These two attacks came fast and unwarranted and the two did not respond in time. Mei was slammed into the boiling rivers of lava below and Kosaru was tossed from one side of the small world to the other until he too fell into the flowing lava.
The two flew out of the lava and both wore stunned expressions.
“Big brother, why did you attack us?”
To Mei’s question, Kazuki threw out another punch and kick. One for her and one for Kosaru. Again they did not expect this and were knocked away. Again they came up and out of the lava, their clothes were burned away and the two were frightened but Kazuki could not go easy.
“Fight back!”
This was all he said before he attacked them again. Over and over he hit them and sent them crashing down below. At first, they wanted no part and tried to run and flee the small world but this was Kazuki’s world and there was no escape. They then began to cry but Kazuki again struck them.
“I SAID FIGHT!”
Kosaru was shaking but Kazuki’s heart was cold right now.
“Big brother, I…I don’t want to fight you. Please.”
Kazuki shook his head.
“No, you will fight otherwise you will die.”
Kazuki slapped Kosaru across the face causing blood to spurt out of his mouth and teeth to fly. Kosaru was crying terribly and Mei as well was spilling a river of tears as she called out for him to stop.
Kazuki appeared before her in an instant and grabbed her by the hair his aura came rushing out and began to crush her and Kosaru.
“Do you think your enemies will stop, do you believe they will show you mercy and let you off? This is how the real world works. One side wins and the other side loses. Fight, struggle with every fiber of your being, use every ounce of strength or be crushed.”
“But brother you are too strong…We can’t.”
“WRONG! let me show you.”
Even though the kids had seen much of his memories due to certain circumstances, Kazuki felt they needed a reminder. He showed them every fight, every battle. He showed them how he was outmatched nearly every time. He showed them what happens when one does not give up. When one continues to think even until the very end and last breath.
They saw him almost die far too many times to count yet in the end it was he who came out on top and his enemies who became ash and bone.
Their minds snapped back to the present.
“The moment you give in, the second you tell yourself you can’t win is the moment you die. It’s the moment your brother dies the moment your sister dies! Have you forgotten your purpose for coming here? Have you forgotten your hatred, your love!? Tell me again Little Mei Mei…WHO IS IT THAT YOU HATE!”
When Kazuki said this, it was like something deep from within Mei suddenly rushed up from her depths and overflowed. Her aura folded over four times and it slammed into Kazuki’s chest as she roared.
“DON’T CALL ME LITTLE!!!!”
