Return of the Fallen Volume 11 Chapter 136
There was no reason for Kazuki to deny Samuel and the other’s request. Making him and his servants stronger meant stronger allies for himself overall.
It took nothing for Kazuki to open one of his small worlds and without another word, he threw them all into it.
“Kori, place a barrier up and protect my world. Having one or two people at a high level is one thing but now there will be a bunch. It would take an annoying amount of effort and focus for me to keep this world from shattering, whilst also using my utmost focus to train them.”
This was true. If it was only a few people. Kazuki could train them as well as make sure the tiny world was not destroyed during the process. With this amount of people, it would be too distracting to keep the world together while fighting and training them all.
Kori obeyed and the second Kazuki entered one of his small worlds, a protective barrier formed around the small world. In this way, no one inside could destroy the world and no one outside in the real world could take a peek inside without dealing with Kori first.
With the 50 slaves, Mei and Kosaru, Samuel, and his servants, there was no need to wait. Kazuki barked at all of them at the same time and curled a finger.
“COME!”
Half a day passed before Kazuki let anyone out of his small world. When he came out he looked completely unbothered and fine. Everyone else practically dragged themselves out. They were utterly exhausted and couldn’t understand where Kazuki’s endless stamina came from.
He had beaten the ever-living shit out of all of them and displayed what real combat was. No matter what they tried, n matter how hard they fought, they simply could not win. Not only could they not win, but none could also even touch him. He was simply too fast.
“Master, what did you do to them in there?”
The way Kori said this caused Kazuki to raise a brow.
“The way you say it, it sounds like I did something inappropriate. I merely showed them their own limits. They now know that to fight me individually is plain stupid. At the same time, they will quickly grow as they understand what they have.”
“What they have?”
“Yes. Most of these people have been without their true strength for many years and have gone soft. They have forgotten just how powerful they really are so I have to push them to the absolute edge to pull out their max potential. Fighting with them all and making them use everything they have, they will fight desperately like savages. I will make them focus all of that desperation and they will transform into fighting beasts.”
After a few moments, they all began to stand up and looked anew. A fire in their eyes and an iron will in their hearts, minds, and souls.
“Now that you’ve all fought with your all, I will have to show my own appreciation.”
The slaves had no clue what Kazuki was talking about but Mei, Kosaru, Samuel and the others quickly ran over in anticipation. With a monstrous hunger in their gut, they waited with a bit of drool spilling down their chins.
Kazuki did not keep them waiting and he took out several tables and chairs and other necessities from his storage ring. These objects flew into the air and landed before him and were set up in an instant. Mei and the others grabbed the nearest seats and held their forks and knives with giddy excitement. The slaves now realized that they were about to be given food but they did not understand the excitement.
Also, they did not understand the arrangement. They all knew that Samuel was their other Master and Mei and Kosaru were Kazuki’s siblings, yet they were all going to eat at the same table as slaves. The fact that Chaka, Bersik, and Simmons were already sitting with Samuel already gave them pause but seeing how no one batted an eye, they were just left dumbfounded.
One of the slaves was a short woman who sheepishly raised her hand.
Kazuki pointed her out.
“If you have something to say, then say it. That goes for everyone here. You may be slaves but it annoys me when people do not speak their minds. I will not punish you for saying what you think. So long as you have no ill intent for me and mine, and you do not insult us, you may say what you wish.”
The woman and the other slaves were surprised but not too shocked. The more they got to know about Kazuki, the more he spoke and made his moves, and the more they realized that he was different from other Masters. The woman calmed down but still remained respectful as she asked.
“Master, all of these tables and chairs, are we allowed to eat with you and Master Samuel?”
Kazuki realized he did not tell them to not call him Master but since Kori was already doing so and he said they could say what they wish he stopped getting hung up on it.
“It’s dumb to eat separately. Why waste time setting up more shit in other locations when we can all just eat together. Besides, in my experience, eating with others makes the food that much more enjoyable. So hurry up and take a seat. It’s time for dinner.”
There was a multitude of other questions they had. One such being is the fact that eating was pointless for them. They were all Demigods and physically did not require food. Chaka and Bersik as well were now Demigods because Kazuki made it so but they still had savage expressions representing their deep hunger.
All 50 slaves took to their seats one by one. They all became curious. Before they recovered their power, they needed food to survive and for a slave, for the most part, it was whatever scraps their previous owners tossed to them. Living in a Higher Realm where most Masters were Gods or Demigods themselves. Food was not a concern to them therefore the quality was usually pretty terrible. Cheap grains and molded bread. All of which contained no magical energy because their Masters drained every bit of it for their own benefit.
To live in a Higher Realm where magical energy was abundant and was in every piece of food, yet the food they received was of such poor quality it lacked magic…It was depressing and disgusting, to say the least. To say these people were treated like shit did not even begin to touch the injustice they endured.
As these people sat there wondering just what sort of crap they were about to be served, Kazuki suddenly brought out hundreds of magical ovens. These people had obviously seen ovens before and even magical ones but the ones they saw before their eyes left them confused. Thes ovens had several inscriptions they did not recognize and were made from some sort of dull-looking white stone they had not seen before.
These stoves were of course made from Orichalcum. Kazuki used this material because it was a perfect conductor of heat and held its temperature to a near-perfect level and could be adjusted in an instant.
Opening up his tiyn world that contained billions upon billions of modified ingredients he created using alchemy, dozens upon dozens of strange ingredients these people had never seen before came flying out and into these ovens.
A sense of dread crept into their minds as they did not recognize the ingredients and they thought they were going down the same path as their previous Masters. They thought Kazuki was simply pulling out the weirdest and cheapest crap to feed them. Again though, the face that Mei and the others had said the complete opposite.
“Big brother please hurry. I’m starving.”
“Big brother food food food.”
Mei and Kosaru were starting to go nuts by this point when Marty showed up. She didn’t wait and grabbed a seat next to Mei.
“Oh, I didn’t miss it did I?”
“Nope. Big brother just now started cooking.”
Marty smiled.
“Oh, good, last time ya nearly ate my portion too. Things will be different this time ya hear me.”
Mei smiled teasingly.
“I hear ya I hear ya but we’ll just have to wait and see, hehehe.”
Kazuki noticed Mei was starting to pick up Marty’s weird way of talking but ignored it.
In the air, the ovens worked perfectly. While some things flew here and there, Kazuki seasoned the food with an abundance of spices and herbs. Nose-tingling aromas began to spread around as the food was being cooked to perfection. The smell was so saliva-inducing that very quickly Viz arrived with his servant Gider.
“Jentson, what is that fantastic smell? Is that…Is that food your making the reason for this appetizing smell?”
Kazuki smirked.
“Have a seat Viz, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.”
Viz liked this confidence. He grabbed a seat as well and all of the slaves were shocked. many thought the same thing at this moment.
(The smell of his food is strong enough to gain the curiosity of even a God. Just what are we about to eat!?)
