Return of the Fallen Volume 11 Chapter 156

While Adigus gave chase toward Samuel and Viz’s ship. To the east and west 5 Gods, each followed the second and third escaping ships. As one ship headed further east, the ship heading west all of the sudden slowed drastically. The five Gods following behind became excited. If they caught this ship and the expert craftsman was on board, there was a possibility of undercutting Adigus and slipping away with this blessed fortune.

One of the Gods shouted up ahead.

“STOP AND WE WILL LET YOU LIVE. KEEP RUNNING AND IT WILL ONLY END BADLY FOR YOU!”

Just as this God commanded, the fleeing ship came to a proper stop.

As soon as it stopped a face they did not wish to see appeared as Kazuki stepped out of the ship.

“It’s this bastard. Damn! Where is the craftsman? Did he escape east or was he aboard the ship Adigus followed?”

The Gods arrived less than a hundred feet away from Kazuki. They were still a bit cautious of him and did not know if he still had some tricks to pull. They wanted to look into him but because they had only fled so far, the Chaotic space tears were still affecting their senses so they could not.

Kazuki shook his head.

“Now now, if I tell you that, won’t you be ruining my plan?”

The Gods all shared a look before their anger rose.

Their aura’s spread out and they surrounded Kazuki with their power. This power was crushing and Kazuki could no longer move. If they so wished they could now kill him with a thought but they still needed information.

“Speak or you will die here and now!”

One of the Gods began to crush Kazuki’s bones and grind them to dust one by one. The pain for most would be excruciating but Kazuki was not like most.

Kazuki’s expression changed and his face paled. He looked terrified.

“I…I’ll speak just please don’t kill me!”

The Gods became satisfied seeing this. Finally, the mortal was acting how a mortal should and showed the proper fear. All of the Gods were unwise except one.

“Wait, somethings not right. This mortal suddenly flipping like this. It makes no sense. Do not trust him.”

The other Gods looked on as if this other God was a fool.

“He is already within our grasp. There is nothing a worm can do against a dragon. So shut up and stop delaying us. Otherwise, I’ll be sure to report to Adigus how you were no help whatsoever and instead were a burden to us all.”

The other Gods all agreed with the first while the outcast could only be quiet and accept the majority rule. Besides, what the leader said made sense. Kazuki was a mere mortal, only at the 7th stage while they were Gods. He was already within their grasp and couldn’t even move an inch. Was there really a need to worry, this God began to think.

“Now, speak. Where did the expert go!?”

Kazuki wore a pained expression.

“I’ll say it I’ll say it. The expert went east. With Samuel and Viz riding north, Adigus would surely follow thinking the expert is with them. What he doesn’t know is that they are going to the nearest city to use the stargate. Once they take it, they could end up anywhere they desire.”

“Good, you report to Adigus, and the rest of us will give chase and we will hurry and catch them before they can use the stargate. it will take time to activate.”

One of the Gods hoped aboard a ship and took off into the distance toward Adigus and the others.

The God leading them then turned his attention back to Kazuki.

“As for you mortal…You have killed far too many Gods to be left alive. A hidden danger like you, just what shit Realm did you crawl up from. No matter, time to die.”

The pressure around Kazuki began to rapidly climb and his body was getting crushed but just as this God was about to kill Kazuki, the God with the suspicions stopped him.

“WAIT!”

“What the fuck are you doing standing in my way.”

The suspicious one shook his head.

“We cannot assume he is speaking truths just because he is being tortured. Let us move him away from all of this interference and inspect his soul. Otherwise, what shall you do if his tongue was one of silver? That would mean the report to Adigus was wrong. Will you be the one to take responsibility at that point?”

The other Gods stared with wide eyes. The one leading them looked at one of the other Gods and barked an order.

“You, quickly go and stop the report. We’ll know the truth in a moment, now go!”

This God didn’t move and quickly came up with an excuse.

“I can’t this bastard mortal destroyed my Vajra ship when he launched that sneaky cowardly attack earlier. I have no backup ship currently.”

The leader became annoyed and looked at another God.

“Forget it, you go instead…And hurry the fuck up!”

With this, another God left leaving three Gods including the leader.

“Right we’ll leave the area and inspect his soul in no time. Let us take our le

Before the leader could finish his sentence a sharp curved blade had penetrated directly through his back. He grabbed it in disbelief.

“A scythe, you…Tessa.”

The confusion on the leader’s face quickly transformed into a rage as he held on to the end of the blade. A spear appeared in his hand and he thrust it forward with uncanny speed as he tried to take Tessa with him.

*Whsssh crackkk*

The end of a whip came from behind and its split ends wrapped around his attacking hand as well as his neck. His eyes widened in disbelief as Sasha’s creepy laugh came from behind.

“Kukuku. Did you think I’d allow you to kill this nasty bitch before me? That is for my hands and my hands alone.”

Tessa rolled her eyes before her wrist flicked and her scythe divided this God in half with another flick of her wrist the God was divided into thousands of tiny pieces. Her scythe spun round and came flying at Sasha’s neck but the moment it seemed as if she would take the woman’s head, Sasha turned into a dark cloud of smoke temporarily. The moment the blade passed through her smoke-like body reformed.

As the God’s body fell toward the ground the spear suddenly took off as fast as possible but before it got more than a few miles, Sasha’s whip cracked out once more and stretched as if it had no limits. It wrapped up the spear in its entirety and with a thought, she rilled it back to her side like a fishing line.

The leader’s voice came roaring from within the spear.

“YOU TRAITOROUS BITCHES! ONCE I ESCAPE FROM EHRE EVERYONE SHALL KNOW OF THIS TREACHERY AND

*Schink*

Once again Tessa swung her scythe and the spear was destroyed. With it, this God was no more.

Tessa aimed her spear at Sasha as if she would kill her where she stood.

“Stop with the foul comments, otherwise don’t blame me if I kill you.”

Sasha smiled teasingly.

“If you could kill me don’t you think the deed would already be done by now? Hehe, continue to try if you dare but as always, the things you do is utterly pointless.”

Tessa’s eyes began to glow with golden light but before anything broke out, Kazuki flew in between the two.

“Sasha, Tessa, please. I’ve told you both before, if you continue down this road, you will only be sabotaging your chances with Viz. Remember, he is a man of freedom and if either of you keeps acting like this, especially around him, he will never choose either one of you got it.”

The two shut up at the same time before they glared at one another.

Tessa bit her lip before spouting.

“Forget it, it’s not worth it to kill you. Besides, once Viz realizes how much I contributed to helping him, surely he will choose me over…you.”

Sasha flew forward until she was right in front of Tessa, knocking Kazuki out of the way with her huge breast. Though she could not match Tessa’s height, she clearly matched her in other areas.

“It will be me that contributes the most. Jentson has already agreed to report what we do fairly. Do you really think you can surpass me in killing without your precious slaves?”

Tessa didn’t back down and pushed her chest into Tessa’s.

“Slaves are merely products to earn profit. I need only these hands and my scythe to slay any man or woman that gets in my way.”

Kazuki was annoyed by this point.

“Stop! Both of you! Our enemies will be upon us in no time. We must work together for now. Help me finish things properly as we agreed and I promise I will show you how to steal Viz’s heart!”

The two looked at Kazuki before staring at one another. A fire was lit in their eyes as they gripped their weapons ready to take on the three Higher Realms if need be.
