Return of the Fallen Volume 11 Chapter 6
Kazuki left the mansion and took to the skies. Flying around aimlessly, his mind was full of chaos.
(Alutra won’t help. Her concern is for the children. Lin as well will not lend me his power. Am I forced to just accept all of this?)
Flying around this small world, Kazuki soon found a small city made of stone. Looking down he could see humanoid-looking people moving about throughout their day. These creatures had a bluish tint to their skin with shorter ears. They were around the bronze age. They had very few metallic objects but a few people had weak swords. There was obviously a hierarchical system of some type and society had formed here. Some would be amazed at seeing foreign life in another world but Kazuki only saw weakness. The same weakness he felt deep inside.
(These people, have no idea how easily their whole world could end.)
Kazuki slowly raised his hand up.
(With a single thought, I could make their entire world could come crumbling down.)
(Kazuki.)
Arc’s voice echoed in Kazuki’s head and he lowered his hand.
(What is it Arc?)
(Do you really want revenge?)

Kazuki was quiet for a minute before nodding.
(What else is there.)
(I don’t know what to say to that but if you really want revenge you will need a way to get to one of the Higher Realms. Without your uncle or aunt’s support and you not being a Demigod yourself, your only option to get there is me.)
(Uncle Lin is standing in my way. After everything that’s happened, he still will not act and is even trying to stop me. As for Alutra, I may be able to convince her after some time. I don’t necessarily need your help to get to a Higher Realm and besides I thought you were just about out of Origin energy after taking that explosion.)

Purple static traveled across the surface of Arc’s body.
(Stop fooling yourself. Alutra is done with all of this. The moment Lin convinced her and her rage quelled, she will rise no more. She will not help you get to any of the Higher Realms, and you cannot climb up there on your own, or rather it will take far too long all on your own. After all the third fragment in your soul, the damage requires a large force of pure power or a massive amount of slaughtering and harvesting of souls in order for the damage to heal at an accelerated rate. Are you going to kill these innocent people and once you’re done with them will you move to the next world? These people are weak, their souls far weaker. It would take 10’s of trillions possibly even more of these insignificant souls to grant you the power you wish. How many will you chop down Kazuki?)
Kazuki went quiet once more. For him to take even one innocent life and absorb their soul with his soul reading ability would be fucked up. He knew it but if he waited, it could take hundreds of thousands of years before he would heal naturally. That didn’t even include stepping into the Demigod stage. He didn’t know how long that would take. His devouring ability barely gave him zero growth now. When his soul finally fully heals he could use the devouring ability again but the amount of energy ad growth he could from that, was not something he could predict. It could give him overwhelming power or it could only give him tiny gains.
Kazuki could not wait that long. He needed to kill Sephra as fast as possible or he felt as if he would truly go insane.
(As for my energy Kazuki, yes I have very little left but I already have a solution for that.)
(It took over a year the first time to get enough Origin energy for you to take everyone to Earth and the second time it took about half as long. This was to get us from one Lower Realm to another. Are you telling me to get to a Higher Realm it won’t cost as much?)
(No, it will cost much more but things are a bit different from last time. As time went on, I learned to collect Origin energy with greater efficiency. On top of that, the previous time before, I had to move not one but more than 15 individuals. Now though it will be you and I and that’s it. Add to that I also used my abilities to locate the souls of a few more individuals, that tends to add up.)
This really would make a big difference. To go from 15 down to just the two of them and Arc didn’t need to consume extra energy as it would move along with Kazuki. Since it was attached to Kazuki’s thumb, the cost was a speck in the grand scheme of things, practically zero.
(You still have failed to mention how long it would take for you to collect the Origin energy. My aura can cover this entire Realm in one shot. The Origin energy here is scarce at best.)
(Don’t you think I already know that. You may be able to sense this entire Realm but when it comes to Origin energy I can sense it millions of Lower Realms away. I have already located a particular Lower Realm that has a grand source of Origin energy. If it’s there, I can recover back to what I was at recently and even beyond that by a wide margin. The only thing though is getting there. This Realm does not have nearly enough Orging energy. You will have to move us through a few Lower Realms where we can collect the initial amount. After that, we should have enough to get to that grand source.)
(I will have to move us. So you want me to tear through Realms, physically?)
If Arc had shoulders it would have shrugged just now.
(Physically or use magic, either way, it doesn’t matter.)
(What do you mean it doesn’t matter. If I just start tearing through Lower Realms, those Realms could easily collapse and that would be the end for all of the inhabitants within.)
Arc sighed.
(I never said you couldn’t repair them along the way. Simply tear a hole open and repair the damage on the way through. Like I said earlier you could also just use magic. Open a rift to another Realm and got through, why are you making things so complicated.)
(No…I just…)
(Look, you’re mind is unstable, even if you wish to kill Sephra right away, even if you suddenly somehow became a God right this instant and you and Sephra were in the exact same location, do you actually believe you would stand a chance. She has been a God for who knows how long and has experience with that Divine energy and soul weapons. You have none. All you know is that if you get cut by a soul weapon you die. You are not in the right head space currently. Right now, there is absolutely no way you can win. Right?)
This hurt to hear but Arc was absolutely right. There was no way to win currently. This scenario that Arc laid out didn’t even include all the Demigods and Gods under the control of Sephra’s family. This also left out potential allies her family held within the Higher Realms. There was just too much that was unknown.
(Fine, I know I can’t win just yet and I do need time to get my head right, I’ll admit it. This just means I need to think carefully and plan my part until there are no gaps left in between. I need to collect get you enough Origin energy, I need to accelerate the growth and healing of my soul and become a Demigod as fast as possible. That most likely won’t happen in these Lower Realms. When we finally do enter the Higher Realm, my first priority should be information. Not just on my Sephra but all of her connections. Anyone that is friend or foe. Noy just on her but on the whole overall situation. I need knowledge, a massive amount. No matter how big or small, I need to change my thinking and find new paths to my goals. For one thing, since Sephra took Fer’as corpse and destroyed the black compass in the blast, she believes I am dead. I can use this to my advantage. I can enter a Higher Realm and she would be none the wiser.)
Kazuki’s imagination began to run wild and his heart began to thump faster and faster with dark thoughts.
Suddenly his attention turned back to the creatures down below.
(I’ll take any and all information. Whatever I can get my hands on. Who knows what will be useful and what won’t.)
Kazuki’s aura spread out over not just this planet but over the entire Realm. With a thought, he located every single world that held life, with any and all beings that had a soul. In an instant, his aura entered their souls and he took a look into their memories and took hold of all of it.
