Return of the Fallen Volume 11 Chapter 94
Two Gods, Letirius and Sasha. With overwhelming strength and power, they bore down on Kazuki. The moment they felt an inkling of resistance, they felt Kazuki was hiding something and wished to know what. There was no asking, no questions, they simply did what they wanted. In the eyes of a God, Kazuki’s existence was truly nothing, and his objections and will meant absolutely nothing.
As soon as their aura’s shot forward to invade Kazuki’s soul world, a powerful force descended upon the two stopping them dead in their tracks. A booming voice echoed out over the sky sending a chill through the audience and a look of anger from both Lestirus and Sasha.
Standing in front of Kazuki was Viz. The same God Sasha was pinning over earlier. He stood in front of Kazuki and blocked both Sasha and Lestirius right there. The two felt their power begin pushed back and both were shocked. They were both incredibly powerful but they were actually being pushed back by one individual.
Lestirius did not wish to lose face but if things continued, it was obvious that things would lead toward that outcome. He glanced at his third ally who had shown up with him, but this third God seemed indifferent as always.
(Olresth, do you not see us being pushed back? Stand with us or we will lose face in front of everyone here in our own arena.)
(Who exactly will lose face between you or I? You and the Vixen decided to pressure that man before you even realized who his backing is. Fool.)
Lestirius was pissed.
(Damnit Olresth. I already looked into this man’s background, but never did I discover any connection between him and Viz. Viz is just stepping in to embarrass us. If you don’t step in it is not just Sasha and I who will lose face but you who is an ally will be seen as cowardly. Now are you going to step in or not?)
(Fine, but you owe my Faction the Red Severick’s a debt.)
Olresth appeared next to Lestirius and Sasha and added his own power to the mix. Now it was three against one. The three Gods stopped getting pushed back but even with three on one, there was no advantage gained. Now, these four Gods were simply at a standstill with their auras.
(Arc what the hell do we do? Can you get us out of here?)
(If I could do such a thing it would already have been done Kazuki. I need more Origin energy remember? As for what to do, this God has come out to defend you so no matter what happens just don’t piss him off. If any of them try to take a peak into your soul I won’t be able to block them for more than a few seconds before I’m destroyed, so this may be disastrous.)
(Great so no actual plan.)
Kazuki looked back at Samuel and Marty, even if he had the speed to flee, there was no way he would be able to begin the two away with him safely. He despised the idea of being someone’s property but he was quickly realizing he may have no choice.
(Damn, this power, just their aura alone and they could wipe my existence from the universe itself. Is there really no way to escape.)
Just as Kazuki was unsure of what to do, an unfamiliar voice entered his mind.
(Jentson. You are the one who has gone into business with the fourth son, Samuel Cortail, correct?)
Kazuki didn’t even need to look around to see who was speaking in his mind. The large God in front of him was clearly communicating with him. Even under the three Gods’ continuous attack, Viz still had enough in the tank to chat leisurely with Kazuki.
(You are?)
(You can call me Viz. Let’s cut straight to the point. I know you have gone into business with Samuel. How much do you currently own?)
Kazuki could see where this was going and instead of saying how much he owns, he simply made an offer.
(How much do you want? How about 5%?)
Viz smiled.
(Heh, so you already know what I want. 5% though, isn’t that a paltry amount? I am risking my own neck to secure your life and freedom here.)
(True but even if I die, won’t these three Gods suffer the laws of this city?)
(Is that what you think? Laws only apply to those without money and power. You think those who uphold these laws will go after another God over some 7th stage brat? That’s a great way to start a war between factions. They wouldn’t give two shits whether you live or die. How about 20%?)
Kazuki’s eyes widened.
(20% are you sure you aren’t trying to kill me as well? 7%)
(Hmm, maybe I’m wasting my time here. They wish to make you a servant but I’m just asking for a piece of the business. 15%?)
(15% are you crazy? All I get is a one-time service and you walk away with all the goods. How about 10% and you help me when I need it?)

While the two were discussing, the mixture of auras was spreading and the stage beneath them suddenly shattered into millions of pieces of debris before being crushed into a fine powder. The air constantly exploded all around and space continually tore and repaired itself. At the same time, they were still controlling their powers just enough so that it would not affect the audience.
This did not bring any comfort to the audience though. Nor did Marty and Samuel feel an ounce of relief. They all felt that if they were to move even an inch, the aura surrounding the place would destroy them with no regard and no hesitation. Everyone could only watch on in horror and wait for the outcome. That or risk losing their lives in the process.
Everyone waited with stiff breaths as the battle of aura played out. The amount of power in the air was enough to destroy billions of Lower realms in an instant and not a single God had used any actual magic or strength yet.
(As you can see, people will be interested in me and those I’m around. Help protect me and them and in exchange, I will give you 10% of the business.)
(Are you actually suggesting I, an almighty God serve at your side like some sort of lap dog? Watch over you and defend you from those who would cause harm? A 7th stage asking for that, you must be insane right?)
(Maybe I am but still, it’s not a bad deal. From what I know, Adigus is not the only one with intentions toward the Cortails business. You’ve been eying this sword at my side, I’m sure you already know what it is….Right?)
(A new weapon. Something that will enhance the strength of lower, weak beings right?)
(Correct. Not just weak beings though, even a Demigod could wield this weapon and gain an advantage or two over other Demigods. Imagine if one had a Faction of Demigods who all a weapon like this. Other Factions would crumble and they would be on top. The fact that you already know about this weapon and stepped in to save me, you want a piece of this business do you not? otherwise, you are putting a target on your own back by stepping in and interfering here. So help me and in return you won’t be disappointed.)
(Hah, a 7th stage acting as if you own all the cards. You are a mere weakling with no real power here. If I don’t get it from you, I will simply get it from one of your partners. So here’s what’s going to happen, my last counter. You take it, we all walk away alive. If you fail to see what’s good, I am perfectly fine letting you serve or die by these fool’s hands. You give me the original 20% from the beginning and I will save your life here and now. In addition, to protect my investment, I will look out for the business and those that work with it. Kazuki grit his teeth. Giving up his entire share and then some but at the same time, if he didn’t do it he would forcibly be a slave to either Lestirius or Sasha, and under them, he would most likely die anyway. There was no real choice here no matter how these Gods spoke.
Kazuki felt a pain in his soul as he answered back.
(15% if you don’t take it then you minus well just kill me yourself…This deal…Will you take it!)
Viz smiled. He couldn’t help but like Kazuki in this moment. His aura climbed further and further, shocking the three Gods in front of him. He then spoke to the three directly in their minds.
(If you continue, we will fight for real. The weak human has already made his decision. Now you three make yours. Give it up now or suffer.)
