Runa could not believe the words coming out of Kazuki’s mouth. He was talking about his friend’s death and the sacrifice so matter of factly it seemed almost cold to her. Even though she had only known Kazuki for a short while, she thought she understood him better. His words came off more numb and just did not seem like something he would say.
“It’s true Kazuki. Your friend’s sacrifice will greatly help my people but…Monsuta is still yuor friend. I…I don’t know what to say.”
“There’s nothing to say Runa. In order for this world to become a land of peace, loss is necessary. Monsuta…he will live on in my heart.”
Again Runa felt gutted. In her eyes, Kazuki was obviously putting up a front. She had never been close with anyone but thought she was starting to get close to Kazuki. If the roles were reversed, she did not know
