Mefius had exhausted his magical energy, and he had pushed his body to its physical limits during this battle with the scarred, shrieker king. Because of this, he had made a mistake. He had acted too slowly. Just as he went to drive his sword down into the upper half of the shrieker king, the green king’s eye snapped open. He still had the speed to move like lightning, and with it, he chomped down directly on the red head next to him.
Mefius roared in both anger and frustration.
“NOOOO!*
He stabbed down as fast as he could, but it was already too late. Out of the broken and mutilated king’s body, a brand new body exploded from the skin.
Once more, the king was whole again. With the red head now gone, however, he returned to his first transformation. Now he stood well over a head taller than Mefius and appeared
