Return of the Fallen Volume 13 Chapter 2

The moment Kazuki thought about Arc and Codex, a mind-splitting pain struck him. The pain then spread through his soul and body like a bolt of lightning. The strength in his legs failed him and he lost his footing. With a single slip, he went straight over the edge of the cliff and crashed down on the burning ground below.

*Thud*

The height of the fall was a mere thousand feet or so but it left Kauzki’s body shaken to the core. The heavy pressure and power of this world made the impact that much harder.

This much pain was nothing and he easily sealed off his receptors but the internal pain from thinking about Arc and Codex lingered.

Kazuki tried to stand once more but the pressure was too heavy when combined with the agony in his mind. He wished to know what happened, he wanted to know where Arc and Codex
