Kazuki had taken note of the city, or at least what he saw of it. One thing that stood out to him was the number of slaves roaming around. There were very few creatures that differed from the ones in control of the red city. Those that had slave collars mostly were made up of creatures that had little intelligence. At least that’s what Kazuki determined after trying to communicate with them via telepathy.

(Either they are dumb or they refuse to communicate for one reason or another. From the outside though the slaves seem more beast-like than anything else.)
