After compacting the sweat in his hand, it was turned into ice from the pressure. This was not magic but instead science.
Kazuki was already at the bars lining one side of his cell, and Bereesk’s was directly next to his. Kazuki tried to reach through the bars but the inscriptions reacted to him and lit up. He quickly retracted his hand, just before the inscriptions pulled him to the floor.
After a few moments, the light faded and the room went back to normal, or rather, as close to normal as one could get with the insane gravity all around him.
Again, he couldn’t help but marvel at the strangeness of this cell. Although the inscription only lit up for a moment, the small piece of ice sitting on his palm was completely unaffected.
(If this were regular space, these extreme forces would have torn open the chaotic realm almost instantly.)
