Return of the Fallen Volume 14 Chapter 3
The three gods attacked with desperate fear. They filled their Divine Soul Weapons with every ounce of power they could and struck at Monsuta repeatedly. Again, Monsuta merely watched on, but this time the attacks held some effect. A scratch here and a scratch there. Cuts formed across the surface of Monsuta’s tough flesh. Fine lines of blood were drawn in tiny amounts.
As these three gods put their all into every strike, in the end, they could only spill drops of blood. Their attacks held no depth and were more annoying than painful.
Seeing their attacks leaving little to no damage brought both distraught and ever more fear. Their faces paled and the silver god shouted at them.
“Faster more! Hit it with everything you’ve got or we’re dead!”
