Keragus’s mood shifted, and his saber floating in front of him started to pulse.
Verina’s eyes widened. She moved forward at great speed and roared.
“KILL HIM NOW!”
Keragus snatched his saber from the air and swung it down with great force.
“Too late.”
A beam of black and blue encircled one another and shot forward. This dark beam was made up of several fused energies, with the most prominent being a permafrost-like substance.
Verina’s shield expanded in her hands several times over to meet this frosty beam of light.
Her shield vibrated as it took this impact and she was instantly pushed far and away.
The god made of rock rushed forward and hammered a fist into the back of Verina’s shield and the speed of their backward momentum slowed but they still were forced away.
Keragus’s energy was being deflected in many directions. As this power of his was scattered here and there, it began striking
