Kazuki had thankfully altered the Magitech defense system just in time before it went off. Berk’s actions almost gave Kazuki away before he had really even begun. In Berk’s defense, he was not told to not follow Keragus, but still, this was an annoyance nonetheless. Now that the defense system had been changed, it would no longer be able to detect Keragus nor Berk’s presence. Still, Kazuki made Berk stay by his side.
To the defense system, Keragus and Berk were ghosts.
(Berk I’ll deal with you later. Don’t you dare take even a single step away from my side.)
Berk did not see the anger and instead just smiled in a weird manner at Keragus and answered simply.

Sighing, Keragus ignored Berk. Now that the defense system was no longer a problem, Kazuki basically had free reign on this random world on the outer edges of Orberus’s Star path.
