Fera’s booming voice from up above was filled with content. Kazuki’s breathing became heavy. He could feel an invisible pressure surround him. He could feel death looming over him as though a sword was held above his neck waiting to fall at any moment. Fear, Anger, Rage, Hatred, Disgust, Kazuki’s clasped his hands so tightly that his nails dug into the meat of his palms and fresh blood dripped out. Even though he was terrified of his sister’s power, his hatred overcame that and he slowly lifted his head to meet her gaze.

Fera saw this glare and she couldn’t help but recall the very same expression the day Kai was killed. This was the same look Kazuki had given her and her mother. A look which said I will destroy you. A look that was empty and devoid of everything except pure unadulterated fury.

The lightning within Fera’s large eyes rotated and condensed. The bluish-white hue within became brighter and brighter. Fera turned to Reya, disappointed but not nearly as upset as Reya thought she would be.

“Reya, I told you not to seek me out unless you already had Kazuki’s head, yet he still lives. Why?”

Reya dropped to her knees and bowed repeatedly before her Queen.

“Master! That big one there, he interfered. His power, even with this army I raised, still, it is no match for him. He protects Kazuki. Without your power Master, I can only fail. With you here though, you can take out a powerhouse that protects this continent, thus saving time for things to come later. In this way, I can still take out Kazuki and not fail you and you can force this one to submit to you. Another general at your side can only…”

“SILENCE!”

Before Reya could finish Fera’s voice boomed at her. The electricity in her eyes grew another fold and the sky grew darker and darker.

“You a mere pawn presume to use me! Who is the Master and who is the Dog!? You saught me out so that I can fight an ant. Not only that you think you are the one who decides who goes into my army. Reya, you have shown me such great disappointment. The fact that an insect-like you dares to…”

*CLAP!*

*FWHOOSHHHH!*

Before Fera could finish her sentence, Glacious stepped forward and clapped his hands together. The force behind this clap was nothing simple and a torrent of wind actually managed to push Fera’s cloud-like form backward a bit. Not only that, but the pressure that was pushing down on Kazuki was also dissipated and dispersed.

Fera’s cloud-like head stopped moving backward and she gathered more wind and clouds in the sky. Her eyes grew brighter and she actually looked at Glacious with a serious attitude.

Glacious slowly rose into the sky until he was at the same level as Fera. He found Kazuki’s sister to be rude and an asshole. Completely different from Kazuki.

“So you are the rumored sister of young Kazuki. You have talked far too much and it’s grown annoying. I’ll tell you this one time and one time only as I hate to repeat myself. Take these foul creatures away with you and get away from my territory. You do that and things can end here. You don’t…then things will have to be properly settled. Your answer?”

Fera went quiet for but a moment.

“Now this is rather interesting. Judging by that power, you are at least at the 6th stage. I did not know this tiny continent had anyone at that level. Unfortunately for you, I am in the 7th stage. I may not be able to utilize my full strength here since this body is merely created using my subconscious but the gap between the 6th and the 7th stage is too far a bridge. Even if I can only use 10% of my power, it is still more than enough to deal with the likes of you. You do however possess some talent. It seems my servant was right on that account. Join me and you will have the honor of serving a soon to be god. Do my bidding and take Kazuki’s head. Serve me loyally from now on and I will grant you a single wish. Become mine.”

Glacious went quiet. He stared at Fera as though she were a fool. His hand slowly rested next to his waist before he threw out a singular punch with his greatest speed.

*BOOOOM!*

The air pressure alone pierced through Fera’s head and dispersed the clouds entirely. The force of his punch continued forward until it struck a mountain far off into the distance.

*BANG!*

The entire mountain shattered and exploded and was no more. The rest of the force from his punch continued upward and tore through the upper limits of the sky until it finally vanished.

Reya’s mouth fell open and she couldn’t move.

Glacious only appeared to be bored at this moment.

“I told you that you talk too much, how annoying.”

No one had time to be shocked by this because not even a second later, clouds began to swirl once more. Again a large head formed in the sky. An inraged expression filled her face and the lightning in her eyes shot out.

“YOU DARED TO HIT ME! DIE!!”

Two large lightning bolts arced across the sky and struck Glacious directly in the chest. Fera smiled for only a second. She witnessed her lightning hit Glacious chest dead on but to her surprise, they did nothing.

(Even if his main element is lightning and he’s mastered it perfectly, my lightning is not something someone at the 6th stage should be able to take head-on with no effect. His defense seems close to my real bodies.)

As the lightning struck Glacious, an insignificant amount bounced off of his body and split into hundreds of lightning snakes, that struck all over the ground.

*Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom*

A few nearly struck Kazuki and the others. Etora stepped in between and opened his mouth as wide as possible before inhaling deeply.

Like a black hole, a terrifying force pulled any nearby bolts of lightning directly into his mouth. Etora’s eyes lit up as he swallowed dozens of lightning bolts all at once. In the end, his stomach expanded slightly and he burped repeatedly while fanning his mouth.

“Whoa, that was delicious yet spicy. Kazuki, your sister’s power is the real deal.”

Kazuki was frozen on the spot as he looked out at the battlefield. Etora had saved them but what he didn’t manage to swallow erupted all over their surroundings. Ten thousand Azirian’s at least had died from the resulting attack and hundreds of craters formed all around. Inside of them, the exposed rock’s had gone white-hot or had already turned into molten rock at the bottom.

(This is her power. No, this wasn’t even her full strength, just a fragment of what had bounced off of Glacious’s body. This…This defies all logic.)

Etora grabbed Kazuki by the shoulder snapping him back to reality.

“Wake up! This is no time to daydreaming little brother.”

Etora pointed up into the sky at the two monsters. The power all around them was swirling and rushing to their sides. At the same time, Glacious glanced down and Etora caught his sight. The two exchanged a brief look and just knew what the other was thinking.

“Kazuki we can’t stay here. Big bro is gonna really fight and he can’t do that if he’s concerned about your well being. We have to leave the area so big bro won’t have to hold back. Come!”

Kazuki, Asuna, Etora, and the others knew this was the right decision and so they all ran ahead. Etora punched in front of him and thousands of Azirian’s turned into purplish-black pulp. Etora led the way as he continued to punch in front of him.

Up in the sky, Fera was infuriated seeing this. She meant to give chase immediately but Glacious flew in front of her. She dispersed into the wind and tried to go around him but he grabbed at the empty air and space twisted and locked her in place momentarily.

“Reya, pursue them and get me Kazuki’s head! Do that and your discretion will be looked over as nothing more than a slip-up! GO!”

Reya’s crimson eyes glowed blood red and she felt her redemption was not far off. She ordered the army of Azirian’s to follow before she raced off towards Kazuki.

The ground trembled and thundered as nearly 100,000 Azirian’s ran across the land in pursuit of Kazuki.

Fera watched this with pleasure before she broke out of Glacious’s power.

“You think you can protect my little imp of a brother. First I will subdue you and force you to become mine and then If that fool doesn’t catch them, I surely will. It was a mistake to go against m…”

*FWHOOOSH!*

Glacious punched out once more before Fera could finish her sentence. Her cloud-like appearance parted in two and she was forced backward again until she finally could stop herself.

Glacious rolled his eyes at the sight.

“Damn, I really didn’t want to repeat myself self but you just won’t stop. Little girl, you talk entirely too much.”
