Return of the Fallen Volume 7 Chapter 56
After a long discussion, Tozu gave Kazuki a mountain worth of gold for their earlier deal. At the same time, Kazuki split the elemental crystals he had taken from Motozu’s lair and divided these treasures between the three of them.
When Shaila saw the several mountain size piles of elemental crystal, she squeezed Tozu in an excited embrace and bragged to the many servants and other Beasts about how capable her husband was. The other beasts were used to this bragging and didn’t mind. Actually, they as well were beyond excited. Tozu’s wealth increasing meant they as the loyal servants and guards would receive a bit more as well. With so many resources, their power would grow at a quicker rate as well.
With the treasure evenly split between the three of them, it was now time to set off.
After learning of the agreement Tozu and Sasai had come to, Shaila as well decided to follow Kazuki. Tozu was unsure of this but Shaila made it clear she would not take no for an answer.
Taking to the skies, four streaks of light stretched across the horizon as the four flew over the open icy ocean toward Feya.
It wasn’t long before the four had made it past the endless cold waters and found them selfs over the great expanding continent. As soon as they reached this far, Kazuki’s eyes widened at the sight below him.
For several hundred miles inward, the land was flooded and the land was torn and battered. Many mountains were destroyed and forests were uprooted and completely destroyed by the waters.
Kazuki knew right away what had caused but Shaila curiously asked.
“What happened here?”
Tozu explained shortly.
“Kazuki and Motozu had a fierce battle. During their exchange, Motozu made tidal waves with his power, this is the aftermath of their battle.”
Shaila now understood and Sasai added.
“It could have been even worssse. When we and Kazuki ssstarted to fight, ssseveral Ancient beasssts had died before they knew what hit them. Thisss left a good deal of anger and resssentment. We were forccced to ssseal their coresss before they all detonated them in hatred.”
Shaila furrowed her arching brows in disdain.
“Those fools. Had they been smarter they would have gathered more information before starting a fight. To think they would try and destroy the world around them in death. Morons, all of them!”
Tozu shook his head.
“Dear, we all were lost in our own greed and excitement. Never in a million years could any of have expected that Kazuki was the one who killed Motozu. Just by sensing his core, you can see he’s at the 5th stage, to believe he did it at that level would be too strange. The truth though, sometimes it really is strange. Had I or Sasai kept going, things would have definitely gotten rough for us. I’m just glad our heads cooled and we could talk.”
Kazuki stared at the three with a weird look as he listened to their conversation.
Shaila chuckled.
“If you keep staring like that, I might begin to think you wish to steal me away from my hubby.”
Tozu frowned hearing this but Shaila wrapped her arm around his, reassuring him it was only a joke.
“Sorry, I’ve been thinking for a while now that Ancient beasts are different from what I imagined.”
Shaila was again curious.
“What, did you think we were like how the stories describe us. Monsters who slaughter at whim who greedily devour the land and fight with anything that moves?”
Kazuki shrugged.
“More or less.”
“Ho, your honesty is quite bold is it not? It’s not completely wrong though either. Some beasts are indeed like that but that type of attitude doesn’t sit well with those at the same level. If you act unhinged all the time, your neighbors will start to worry about when that foulness will reach across their fence. You can be arrogant all you want but only if you have the power to back it up. Acting like that creates more enemies than friends. That’s just one of the many reasons so many Ancient beasts came a calling the moment they thought Motozu had been weakened. When you reach our level of power, you tend to realize how utterly pointless it is to fight recklessly. There is always someone trying to replace you. At the same time, we all have our own personalities and traits, so everything I just said you can take with a grain of salt. We all different and yet we are all similar in our own ways. At the same time, everything I just said could be said about humans right?”
Shaila wasn’t wrong. The stronger you get, the more power you obtain doesn’t necessarily mean you can just go around imparting your will onto others. If there is someone who is equal to you in power that doesn’t like the way you do things, only difficulties lie ahead from that. If those that oppose you suddenly become two, then the best course of action may not be to start picking fights.
Kazuki nodded along.
“You’re not wrong. I just found it interesting how human the conversation sounded but I guess it’s not something that belongs solely to human beings.”
“You find that interesting but I find you more and more interesting. You a human can have such a normal conversation with us beasts and it doesn’t bother you that most beasts see humans as prey or pets. Most of the time you are a thing that is looked down upon yet these thoughts don’t seem to bother you or rather you don’t seem to think about it in the first place.”
“I guess I don’t really care that much because going through life I’ve seen it from different sides. Beasts have come for my life but so too have humans. I’m used to being looked at as lesser. It gives me the advantage. Underestimating me, no matter, whether it be human or beasts, it has only done me favors in the long run.”
After that, Kazuki cut the conversation there and continued flying toward Edngaul. Shaila and the others followed after him.
—————————————————————————-
Landing in the forest, Kazuki gave the three a few things to follow.
Firstly he had them transform and take on the appearance of humans, then he had them all shrink down to around the average height of people. Though seeing their human looks, all three of them still stood out. Shaila complained saying she couldn’t shrink any further and remained well over 6 feet tall. With her smooth bronze-colored skin and sharp eyes, she looked like an exotic foreign beauty from a distant land.
Sasai was slender and tall and had pale skin. His face was actually handsome to some degree and he gave off a scholarly feel, completely opposite of his actual personality. Lastly was Tozu. His shoulders were unnaturally broad with a thick chest and even thicker legs like oak wood.
Kazuki gave them a bit of guidance but in the end, they were still very tall for the norm.
*Haa*
(I guess their looks really don’t matter all that much. I would rather not have eyes constantly on us but even if there are what can anyone do?)
The other problem Kazuki quickly found was clothes. Shaila was somewhat fine. She was already into clothes apparently and wore a gold and black silk dress. It perfectly accentuated her long legs and large breast. She looked like a celebrity back on Earth. No, the real problem was Tozu and Sasai. Both of them were utterly naked.
Neither had any during or after the battle and Kazuki didn’t even think about it because they were in their beast’s forms. Now that they appeared human, the two wore nothing.
“Where are your clothes?”
Sasai crossed his arms stubbornly.
“Why should a great beast such as I wear human attire?”
Kazuki was a little taken aback. Not because of Sasai’s answer but rather in this human form, his S’s were no longer stretched out.
“What happened to the way you talk?”
“What’s wrong with the way I talk? It’s not my fault I sound weird right now, it’s this damn human-shaped tongue and teeth. It’s making me sound stupid.”
(Even Sasai’s voice is different. How odd.)
Kazuki ignored that and turned to Tozu.
“What about you, anything to wear?”
Tozu scratched his bald head almost shyly. He didn’t have any hair on his head in beast form but neither did Sasai yet now he had long green locks of beautiful flowing hair.
“Sorry, I’m not too into fashion like my wife. Besides, 99% of the time, I’m in my beast’s form. There’s no need for human things such as clothes. I don’t get it, why do humans cover themselves in the first place. Shouldn’t you show the opposite sex what you have. In this way, it’s much easier to attract a woman. That’s how I got Shaila after all.”
Shaila smiled before hugging Tozu from behind and grabbing his dick and giving it a firm squeeze.
“You sure did but clothes just look so good. That reveal many things being in the nude never could. It makes attracting someone else a fun kind of play. You tease a man with a small peak here and a slight curve there. Have you not noticed the way I glow in such outfits.”
Tozu pulled Shaila around from behind him and planted a deep kiss upon her full lips.
“To me, you always look as if you’re glowing.”
Sasai watched the two in annoyance and Kazuki just shook his head.
Thankfully Kazuki had bought plenty of clothes from a shop in Edngaul many days ago. Pulling them out of his ring, he tossed them over. Since they were all around the same size, the clothes were a pretty good fit. Seeing her man in a nice sleek outfit, Shaila grew more excited.
“From now on you will wear these clothes to bed.”
Tozu and Shaila began making out again. At this point, both Kazuki and Sasai were already walking away.
Tozu only noticed this now and finally managed to pull himself away from Shaila’s affection.
“Wait! Kazuki, brother! Hey why are you two ignoring me?”
