Return of the Fallen Volume 9 Chapter 45
As Kazuki rushed towards Glacious and the others, it didn’t take him long before he could hear explosions ring out continuously. Extending his aura a few thousand miles, he was shocked by what he saw. Far off into the distance, he detected Zetrazz’s dome and inside this dome, Kazuki could see the battle unfolding.
Inside the dome, there was no more magic to be had. Glacious and the two beast kings had used up every ounce of magic energy long ago. Now, everything came down to physical combat. Fists came crashing down upon flesh like thunder and lightning. Claws and fangs ripped into each other as blood flowed nonstop. This alone would not be such a bad thing as they could just regenerate at a fairly quick rate but at the moment, their ability’s to heal had slowed dramatically.
A wound that could heal instantly was now taking several minutes and longer.
(They’re all exhausted. Even in that state though, a single blow from them could obliterate the continent.)
If not for Zetrazz’s dome, Glacious, Etora, and the two kings would have devastated Feya the moment they started to exchange blows.
Not only were they all exhausted but just on the outside of the dome, Fera was waiting to make her move. Torzz as well was taunting Zetrazz but Zetrazz was no fool. He could see Fera itching to enter the fray. It was one thing if his rival died in a fair fight, it was something entirely different if he was exhausted as he is now and someone takes advantage.
Zetrazz was growing increasingly pissed by Torzz words of humiliation but no matter what he would not budge and allow Fera to exploit this opportunity.
(I have to hurry. The sooner the crown is destroyed, the sooner the Miasma will fully be on my side.)
Kazuki’s flames burned hotter and brighter as he flew forward at his fastest speed. Only a few minutes later, Kazuki could see Zetrazz and the others a few miles away.
(Kazuki stop!)
Zephris voice called out to him and he stopped in the sky.
“What now? If I don’t hurry, Glacius may very well die.”
(True but have you forgotten your own strength. You can do nothing to fight the enemy. Instead, you must convince Zetrazz to help you.)
“Impossible. Zetrazz is not one to do such favors. How can you convince the inconvincible?”
(If words won’t work, I suppose you will have to trick him with your actions.)

Kazuki flew to the side of the dome. The moment he arrived, Zetrazz, Torzz, and Fera all took notice of him.
Zetrazz was shocked seeing Kazuki.
“Ant! what are you doing here!?”
Not just him, Torzz had believed Kazuki was devoured by the Miasma. He had seen Kazuki being eaten away and thought the young mortal was on his dying breath but here he was, alive and well.
Fera glared at Torzz.
“Why did you not kill him? What is this betrayal?”
There was visible confusion all around but Kazuki didn’t care. He came upon Zetrazz dome and opened his mouth.
(Devour.)
A powerful suction force started to pull at the dome as Kazuki inhaled a small portion of it. The moment he did this, Fera knew he was trying to enter inside and raced toward him ready to strike. Just before she could kill him, Zetrazz blocked her with his power. He did this subconsciously and Fera immediately came to a stop.
Were she to actually attack Zetrazz, there would be no reason for him to hold back. Right now she merely had her fake bodies here. With Zetrazz’s overwhelming strength, he could destroy these bodies with a simple swipe.
A small hole was torn into the dome and with it, Kazuki immediately slipped inside. Fera saw the hole and wised to follow but Zetrazz, swiftly repaired it before shouting.
“Kazuki what in the 7 realms of hell are you doing here? Do you wish to die so, unfortunately?”
Kazuki shook his head.
“I don’t plan on dying but thanks for worrying about me. You even saved me, tell me, have you gone a bit soft?”
“SOFT! You little shit. Leave this place right now and I’ll handle you later. You’ll see if it’s me that’s gone soft or your flesh after I beat the shit out of you. Now step out from there!”
“Sorry, no can do.”
Zetrazz was already furious from his brother’s taunts, now a mere mortal was defying him. Zetrazz wondered if he should just pull him from there right away and deal with him later but he had already interfered by saving him. Saving others was not his style. If Kazuki wished to put himself in harm’s way, then so be it he thought.
(He came here to die. He is not my responsibility. It’s too bad though. I wished to see him grow into a true rival.)
The moment Kazuki entered the dome, he was left with goosebumps by the sight in front of him. Glacious was in a deadlock with a humanoid lion. King Azar had his fangs in Glacious’s shoulder. Glacious whole body was covered in black scales except where he had been bitten and blood was constantly flowing from his wound. At the same time, Glacious’s tail was wrapped around King Azar’s neck and he was choking him with all he had.
A small distance away, it was even more frightening. Etora had king Berus in a bear hug and one could hear bones constantly breaking and rubbing together. Berus was in agony but he was not alone. His claws were completely embedded in Etora’s eyes sockets and blood was pouring down his face. Even though this must be agonizing to a cruel level, Etora did not cry out in pain. Instead, he roared in fury as he squeezed harder and harder with everything he had.
Kazuki could feel the absence of magical energy as it had been used up long ago. This was a place where they had given up on magic and weapons long ago and relied purely on strength.
Kazuki flew to the center of the dome and landed on the ground. He then activated his devouring ability once more and started to consume Zetrazz’s dome beneath his feet. It didn’t take long for a new hole to form.
“Kazuki you dare tear a hole through my power again. Fine, you wish to let my brother and Fera inside, so be it.”
Zetrazz said that but for either of them to reach that specific hole in the dome, they would need to get through Zetrazz. Zetrazz knew this and was trying to scare Kazuki and stop him from doing anything else stupid. Kazuki though just ignored him completely. Zetrazz’s fury grew more from being ignored.
(Has Kazuki gone insane. Now he actually dares to ignore me.)
Zetrazz stuck to his word and didn’t repair the hole in his dome and simply watched in anger. At the same time, Glacious and the others finally took notice of Kazuki’s presence and both Glacious and Etora grew desperate. They wished to send him away as fast as possible, shout at him to make him leave, anything but they were so exhausted, that words wouldn’t even come from their mouths.
Kazuki’s mind flashed with Zephris’s memories and he began to will his power forth. The ground beneath him rose up and wrapped around him in a suit of rock. With a wave of his hand, the rock changed into crystal and then into black metal. Very soon the metal suit began to lighten from a pitch-black to a grey and then from a grey into a dull white. With all of Zephris’s memories and experiences, Kazuki now knew how to create god metal from simple gordonia. He no longer had a limited amount and could make as much as his power allowed.
Once he had this god metal armor. He flew behind Glacious and placed a hand on his shoulder.
Glacious wanted to scream for him to get away but the moment Kazuki placed a hand on his shoulder, Glacious could feel ki along with magic flowing into him. As this ki circulated through his body, Glacious was suddenly filled with strength. The deadlock he and King Azar had been in this entire time, suddenly flipped.
Glacious began to overpower King Azar and the strength in his tail climbed as he squeezed King Azar’s neck tighter and tighter.
King Azar’s eyes flashed with madness. If he didn’t do something quick he would surely lose. He would lose the entire continent at this rate and he would die in the process.
(It’s because of him! That fucking human, If I can’t kill Glacious, I’ll take this cheating fucker!)
King Azar removed his fangs from Glacious’s chest and shoulder and with all his strength he grabbed Glacious tail and swung him into the sky. Glacious was not expecting this and was launched high into the air.
He could see King Azar already making his move for Kazuki.
(NO!)
Kazuki was already on the move though and took to the air but King Azar was already upon him. Gripping his fist like a sledgehammer, King Azar brought them down upon Kazuki with everything he had.
*BOOOOM!*
Kazuki was sent crashing down into the ground like a meteorite. The armor he wore was completely crushed and most of his body had been reduced to a liquid state.
King Azar smiled like a demon but this smile would not last.
