Return of the Fallen Volume 9 Chapter 87
Kazuki wasted no time. The moment he wrapped the god metal around Fera he brought the giant metal sphere to his side and poured his magic into it. The sphere lit up and Fera had just torn her way out of the metal construct encasing her. The very moment she was free, it was already too late.
“No!”
Like a giant megaphone, the wind was sucked in through the thousands of small holes around its surface. Echoing around and vibrating within, the sound funneled out through the cone-shaped front. The god metal allowed Kazuki’s magic to be amplified to a terrifying degree. A mighty power bellowed out and struck Fera point-blank range.
*BRUUUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!*
The sound was absolutely devastating. Every living creature, whether they be a hundred or a thousand miles or on the other side of the entire continent, in one strung out reverberation, the sound and shock wave exploded their eardrums. This was the day the world went deaf. For these people who were already scared and terrified around the Feya continent, this to them was another sign of their impending doom.
Screams and shouts echoed across the world yet at this moment no one could hear them and all were in a world of silence.
Kazuki even with his hearing completely cut off and sealed ahead of time, even had his eardrums burst. To Fera who once more was left completely unprepared for this and who also took the sound blast directly to the face, this was something that shook her to her very core.
The sound wave bounced around in her chest and destroyed her lungs. Her heart exploded and her insides liquified. Her eyes became goop in her head and like a rotten tree, her bones cracked and split all over. She bled from every orifice and her body screamed in agony.
She was left devastated and fell out of the sky like a rag doll. Kazuki didn’t hesitate. With his aura sealed, he couldn’t use it with his other energies and use the touch of death but he was not powerless. He moved faster than lightning, behind him he pulled the large sphere along with him. Just in case she had something up her sleeve, he avoided getting too close but close enough. Repositioning the scraped together magic tool, he once more pointed it in her direction and filled it with magic.
The sphere lit up and once again a devastating blast of sound landed directly on Fera. If the first turned her insides into liquid, this second blast broke every bone in her body. Blood poured out of her in disgusting amounts and her body was tossed about like a broken kite.
Torzz watched this and he felt his body start to move.
(If Fera dies, then everything fails here and now. I…I have to kill this human before it’s too late!)
Torzz shot forward with the power of gravity. It was so fast that Zetrazz did not expect it and quickly gave chase.
“BROTHER YOU DARE INTERFERE! STOP!!”
Torzz had no intention of listening.
The power of gravity condensed again and again and again in his palm. Just before he could reach Kazuki though, Zetrazz’s dark energy sprung up from the ground like unholy geysers. His dark power wrapped around his body and with the combination of pure strength and his aura breath, he weakened his brother’s power and Torzz came to a grinding halt.
Torzz did not care. he was already within range. His palm opened and a tiny lump of metal, no bigger than a rock shot forward as fast as light. Kazuki was already aware of Torzz movements and was seemingly prepared for whatever came forth. When he saw the tiny metal lump though he was slightly confused. That is until he felt the overwhelming power of gravity condensed around it.
Kazuki didn’t know what that tiyn fragment of metal was but he could sense the danger coming from it. Alarms went off in his head as a spine-tingling feeling shot up his spine.
(I have to move…NOW!)
The white flames beneath his feet combined with wind and he pushed himself forward with gravity. His ki pumped as fast as possible and his speed became something even he had never touched before. At the moment of his acceleration, Torzz roared.
“BREAK!”
The tiny piece of metal suddenly shrank so fast and so rapidly that it completely vanished from sight. With it, space cracked open and a black hole formed right there and then. Torzz could not use the element of space but he had found a way around that. By condensing gravity on a single spot to such a high degree, he managed to create a black hole.
With Fera incapacitated, the domain of space she maintained had disappeared. She was out and because of this, she could not stop the black hole from forming.
The suction from this black hole was unlike anything Kazuki ever felt. Its pull was so great that even being at the 7th stage, and even flying away at his fastest speed, he could still feel his body starting to be pulled backward. At the same time, he witnessed Fera’s body being covered and protected by Torzz’s gravity. Zetrazz could not control gravity and he could feel parts of himself being sucked into the black hole.
He quickly released Torzz and retreated back until he was safe. He couldn’t help but stare at his brother in shock.
(Torzz was hiding this ability. In front of mother, he feigned weakness. This diabolical shady bastard. Had the two of us kept fighting and things kept escalating he would have surely used this move on me. Left unprepared, I would have been caught up in that black hole and…Damn you Torzz. Keeping such a card hidden, you scummy bitch.)
Now that he was free, Torzz flew forward and scooped Fera up. He hadn’t inspected her because she was in the middle of a battle but now that he pulled this stunt he quickly took a look at her body inside and out and was almost lost for words. Her body was so battered and broken it was barely recognizable.
(Kazuki did all of this in two moves. He made that simple magic tool in seconds yet it has such a dangerous attack. If I hadn’t stepped in when I did…Fera…would have lost.)
This was hard for Torzz to believe but he had to. He was witness to it and it was undeniable. Kazuki, even with his soul sealed and his aura cut off from use. Even with it being hundreds of times harder for him to use his magic, even with Fera being faster and stronger than him. Even with all of these advantages, this was the result.
Torzz retreated from the battlefield. He couldn’t keep Fera safe and kill Kazuki at the same time because the pull of the black hole was even too much for him. At the same time, he couldn’t simply set Fera down outside of the battlefield. Now that he interfered, Zetrazz would do the same. If he set her down anywhere then Zetrazz would kill Fera in a heartbeat. He already wished to do so and if she was left completely defenseless, there’s no doubt Zetrazz would take that opportunity to kill her.
Torzz found himself in an odd situation. He could not attack Kazuki nor could he leave Fera’s side. At the same time, Zetrazz was already headed in his direction. Torzz made a swift decision and flew closer toward the blackhole. Using his gravity, he maintained a distance from it to where it pulled at him and Fera but not enough that he couldn’t resist it and get dragged in.
Because of this Zetrazz had to come to a stop and no longer chase him. Zetrazz could not get any closer without getting sucked in. He couldn’t use gravity and powers like that, therefore he had to maintain an even greater distance from the black hole than his older brother.
Like this, the two could not really fight under these conditions. On the other side, Kazuki was still slowly getting dragged into the black hole. Before he could even figure out his ass from his head, the large metal sphere he created was sucked directly into the black hole but not before being crushed by its gravity and pull.
Kazuki felt no lose for it. After all, he literally created it in seconds. To make another one was simple. No his concern was the suction and gravity trying to destroy him. Kazuki tried to use space magic to teleport away but it didn’t work. The element of space was being pulled even faster toward the black hole than Kazuki could use it. Since he also could not use aura, he could not mimic space and teleport that way either.
(Fine, you want to change the rules. You want to take my revenge away from me. After this is all over, if I make it out of this bullshit alive, I will personally fuck you up!)
