Having said that, Julian reaches out his hand towards the Magician woman, as if urging her to hand the King and the Princess over. You could also feel that silent pressure from the rest of the knights as well.

Normally, knights are supposed to protect the royalty, so handling them over to the knights should only feel natural and should not raise any suspicion. However, you could easily tell that something was wrong in here by the expressions on the faces of the knights who obviously knew what was going on in here.

And there was also the King, who even though he was once targeted by the knights already, would not protest or show any kind of anxiety when faced with them.

And there was also the fact that the strange-looking Pioneer who rescued the King and the Princess before was now nowhere to be seen.

It’s not like I’m doing this because I want to, or anything like that! …… Okay, here goes: to the pitiful puppets dancing on the strings pulled by the evil tyrant, pointing their swords at the royal family members they have sworn to protect! And from the inside of the forest, a lonely player slowly emerged. Coming closer towards the frontline base, it was none other than Tottori wearing a fully blown archer getup, as well as his trusty signature weapon. However, for some bizarre reason his current movements were really unnatural, as if he was forcing itself into making every single step. He then opened his trembling lips and spoke up in a voice that sounded as though it was about to break at any moment.

「M-My name is Tottori! Tottori the Simane! Kuh, why does it sound so humiliating right now for some reason……? Anyways! I am the one who wields both the title of the Brave Hero and the Bowman of the People of the Forest!」

With this, all of the oil was spilled all over the ground and the thing we needed now was the spark that would light it all up so that we could watch the fireworks. And thankfully, the mastermind behind this situation prepared just the thing for its lovely puppet to use at this exact moment.

「I am very sorry to say this, but I am not going to just sit and watch as the evil goons of the absolute tyrant are trying to enslave the demi-humans of the New Continent! Also…… if you think that I am going to allow you guys to just assassinate the former King and the Princess, than I’m afraid that you are gravely mistaken!」

I doubt that any NPC had been so upset by the mere words of some player ever before.
