Weissash never disappoints when it comes to strong character moves and things to say. However, for a moment out there he seems as though he was regretting something. But before I was able to ask him about that, Weissash regained his usual humorous demeanor, and he turned his gaze back at Emul and myself.

「I see that the time has finally come. You guys…… maybe you will be able to fight against the Monster of Origin before long…… It is the “Blood of the Gods” that fell onto this lad even before the actual Gods walked the surface of this earth……」

Blood of the Gods…… Could it be somehow related to those strange thorns that I have seen buried deep below the ground during the battle with Great Red Devourer?

「Judging by the look in your eyes, lad, I think that you have at least the gist of the idea what I am talking about. And yes, that’s right…… When it comes to this world, we are all living right on top of the corpse of a giant monster.」

It was a joke, Emul, a joke! Easy there, buddy! Don’t be such a drama queen! But thinking about Weissash’s words now, it makes me wonder…… Weissash’s words, the information I have managed to obtain so far, and the information that Rei once told me…… apparently there is something grand going on here in this game. Something even grander than the mere Unique Scenario or even Unique Scenario EX.

「Old World and the New World…… Big Bro, is that what I think it is? Please tell me.」

「…… Yes, that is exactly right. This world is nothing more but a carcass of the Primordial Beast, the Black God “Erebus”…… And the thorns found in the ground are essentially the tips of its wings.」

Wings…… So, is this creature a bird or something like that? A huge bird or winged monster with tips of its wings so huge and seemingly sharper than the sharpest blade of this world? Hm? But if it’s a bird, then wouldn’t that make those thorns…… feathers? Seriously?

No, but still…… This “Erebus” guy that Weissash told us about sure is bad news, but those red cells are even more of a bad news in my book. They are here and now, alive, while “Erebus” is already a corpse…… Blue cells, red cells, so there would also be white cells…… Macrophages? It would be a possible scenario, assuming that my line of thinking is correct here. But you need proof for something like that, and I have none for the current moment.

For now the Red blood cells has been silenced by us, but since they belong to a raid boss monster, it is only a matter of time before they actually resurrect themselves. And it should be needless to say here, but I do think that leaving them alone to their own devices is not something we should allow.

「Somehow, when I think about leaving that thing be and do as it pleases, nothing but Bad Ends come to my mind……」

However, since this is a Full Dive game, I do not think that any bad end here would result in the world getting completely destroyed. After all, the actions of a single player should not have consequences for the entire community within the MMORPG. So there is at least a slight bit of optimism in me that the worst possible scenario will not come to pass here. However, defeating raid bosses is sure to be at least somewhat similar to Unique Monsters battle, meaning that overcoming them will induce some sort of a change within the game’s world.

「Amachi Ritsu, I see that you are still as much of a madman as ever……」

I mean, I already knew it after playing through Shit Chronicles Online that she must have had a screw or two loose in her head, but now I have my confirmation: she is not a human being. She must be some sort of a Shitty Games Demon sent here by the Shitty Games Gods in order to torment us mortals.

To think that the whole world would not come to an end simply because this is the MMORPG…… But I mean, we did manage to defeat the Great Red Devourer, so it should all be good, right? That was what we were supposed to do in the first place, correct?

「That woman, sometimes even I can believe it……」

「Oh, that’s right. Sanraku.」

「You should have obtained something for defeating the Great Red Devourer…… Do you happen to have this item on you right now?」

「…… Hee, how did you know? I mean I have it on me, but I was wondering if I will be even using it in the first place.」

At the very least I cannot use it in places where I go together with Emul, or where there are a whole lot of other players. This item has way too many disadvantages, and seeing my name stained in red the very first moment I regain my sanity would simply be disastrous.

「You see…… right now it is nothing more but the “Empty Vessel”, but it used to have a will of its own. If you ever decide to use it, your own will must be strong enough to not get devoured by the will of the vessel. And if you manage to do that, the more you use it, the more that power will become familiar to you and you will be able to make it your own.」

「…… So in other words, I should not be afraid of using it and be positive about it?」

「Kakaka! That may indeed be your end goal with this item, but I think that for as long as the scratches done by that pup are carved on your body, you won’t be able to reach that level quite yet.」

I…… see? So in other words, Weissash tells me that I must see if the effects of the “Conversion” are not going to be interrupted by the curse markings covering my body. Following that logic, even the process of “Demi-Conversion” may be impossible because of that. So if I want to utilize it properly, I must first be able to cancel the disadvantages that the curse marks are giving me……

In other words, find a way to cancel the demerits and only use the merits to their full potential.

Usually I am a ball for them to play around as they see fit, but this time around I am going to make them my punching bag for a change! I mean, that’s what friends are for, right? And we are the best of friends after all we have been through!

Under the Counter Goods? Under the counter goods, you say? As per usual, the way in which this bunny says certain thongs is really mysterious (in the positive way).

However, if a flag opportunity is being presented to me, you can be sure that I am going to see it through to the end. So we are going to pay a visit to Elk’s place first, and then we go straight towards Break’s workshop. It’s like a shopping spree all over again.
