「Yeah, yeah! Oh, and right before we got teleported, there was this really nice lady that gave us some advice. She said that this old geezer like to teleport people at random, but that there was also a pattern to this randomness! And that patter would be the fact that he always teleports people near the places like towns or villages where you could even save your progress! She even said that because of that we might actually be able to discover a town that we have never been to before! …… Assuming you are able to reach one! …… Is what she said to us!」

「Oh and I guess that she was also good at impersonating! Her voice would change from time to time!」

「Yeah, it was really weird, but also kind of cool!」

「…… Yeah, I think I might actually start to get what happened here.」

Welp, I guess it does not take a genius to guess who that certain lady was. And while I somehow understood how those guys were feeling, they have gotten into this mess on their own, so they cannot really blame anyone else. While I was thinking about that, the levels of transparency started to already reach the trio’s abdomens. Also, there were some strange markings that started to appear all around them.

However, thanks to the above rant I managed to at least partially understand the situation here. So as it turns out, those three were sent in here to the new continent with the use of teleportation magic. And even though the place of their teleportation would be chosen at random, it just so happens that it is always a place where you can rest and save your game, like a village or a base. And judging by the fact that they were sent here, it would be reasonable to assume that the village of Bugmen must be nearby, otherwise they would not be here in the first place.

However, since this game is the way it is, there would be no sign that would say “Bugmen Village That Way!” or “Just Hundred More Meters Until the Bugmen Village!”. So it’s small wonder that the trio managed to lose their way in the desert, since there was no way they would have a map of this area on them when coming in here. So apparently they got lost, stumbled upon the Desert Worms and got chased around by them, effectively running out of the precious time they had to explore here. And now it was a high time for them to go back home. Way to go to waste a perfect opportunity here. Way to go.

「Oh well, as far as we understand it here, we must have made a wrong turn somewhere. And since we have just arrived here without any prior knowledge of this place, we have no idea where the nearest base might be.」

「I see, that’s kinda sucks, really.」

If you happen to get teleported and there is no base where you can save your progress or there are no monsters that you can fight against, I guess that the only real option left to you is to chat with your friends and await the moment when the spell is going to end and you will be taken back. Which, depending on the RNG at work, might actually take a while to kick into effect.

Oh well, since they are someone who I consider to be a familiar face, I might as well humor them for a moment and have a chat with them a little while longer, just until they are going to be taken back. Especially since because of the Desert Worm it seems like the other monsters run away from this place, so there is literally nothing else to do here for a moment.

「Umm…… Sanraku-san? Are there many monster like that one in the new continent?」

「Hm? Well, I mean……」

I really wanted to say here that this was not the case, but I was unable to do that. Tri-headed Tyranno, Two-headed Pterosaurus, Metal Head, the number of smaller dinos, that Triceratops-like monster……

「…… Yeah, I’m afraid that this is exactly the case here.」

Rather than that, I would say that this here worm is a much easier enemy to fight than the Dino enemies. You do not need to possess maximum firepower like Rei in order to be able to fight it effectively, and you just need a good weapon which causes striking damage plus maybe some magic to strengthen that effect and you’re golden!

Besides, strangely enough there were many parts where the damage was surprisingly easy to pass through…… Parts of the outer shell that was colored differently…… Parts that looked as if they were taken from somewhere else and jam-packed there on purpose…… Was that the same individual that Rei fought against? Unfortunately I have forgot to ask it about that before I beaten it into a bloody pulp.

No…… Wait just a second here.

「…… Script, scenario, crisis, evolution?」

「Did something happen?」

「No, it’s just that……」

I feel like I have noticed something incredibly dangerous just now. What’s more, it is something that other players, and especially the ones like that pervert Deepslaughter should never catch the wind of.

「Nice…… This looks like a place I have never seen before. Does that mean it’s my win here?」

Unless I whisper that in a hushed voice, risk that the teleporting trio might actually hear me here.

While floating in the air, the Wise Man looks up at the snowy peaks of the mountains right before her eyes and grins. She is the one who has the access to the unlimited teleportation spells, a magic that is said to be one of the most desired things in the entirety of ShanFro.

「Hhhmmm…… the way in which the cold air assaults the lungs…… As expected of ShanFro, it’s so realistic…… Oh my gosh, so cold, so cold!」

Using the spell Magic Torch empowered with her wand The Desire’s power, the Sage creates a sphere of fire with doubled heat in order to keep herself warm. The fuel she was using here was obviously magic power.

Seen from the side, she is a strange magician with a light bulb floating over her head, but the amount of heat radiating from the orb of fire was so great that it was actually melting away the snow at her feet.

「Maybe I should raise the firepower of the Magic Torch here as well? Then it would become a head-butting weapon packing some serious heat…… You bastard, I see! So this is what you mean by the Head Butt!」

「Gahaha! Run away! Run away! Claymore!!!」

「Umu, I thought that I would be able to do it this time around!」

The ground starts to sway and tremble. At the same time, a voice echoes from the depths of the cave as if it were a sound of a gigantic waterfall.

Then, what appeared rom within the cave that was right ahead was a duo of men that looked to be in their thirties…… But their size was over two meters tall, so it was obvious to tell that they were not mere humans, but something else entirely.

「…… Uwah, I know that this is a game, but aren’t enemies like that td a little bit too much?」

Hiding behind a rock and looking at the escape of the two giants who appeared out of the cave, the Sage … Deepslaughter smiles with a mixture of surprise and joy.

However, the smile changes shape when she sees a group of small white dragons that appeared after the two giants.
