This type of the battlefield is the most chaotic one, and the one in which people like Pencilgton like to be on the most. It’s a battlefield where the deceivers are clashing against the deceived and where basically everything can happen. The worst thing here is, if shit hits the fan really hard, random players might end up getting sacrificed or massacred for no apparent reason. But that’s life for you, I guess.

We also need to reach some sort of a consensus as to the case of Siegwurm, or otherwise it could increase our hardships in the nearby future. It would be increasingly hard to fight both the Unique Monsters and other players at the same time, and even having someone like Katsu on board would not of much help here. So one approach would be to take care of the Goldunine business only after Siegwurm quest is finally over..

「…… Alright, I understand. I’m afraid that I cannot promise anything here, but I can already tell that the Professor’s curiosity is going to direct him towards giving you a favorable answer. There is a high probability for that.」

Now then, since the most of the requirements have been met here, it was time for us to go. I was going to get back to the Sigmania Frontline Valley, but the question was now this: how should I go about it? Normally I would just kill myself and respawn at the Brynhildr Baskerville, which was now located in the basement of the cave that was freshly opened last time.

「Say, Emul? Could you teleport us to the deck of Brynhildr Baskerville?」

「Brynhildr…… Oh, you mean that strangely shaped ship that you own?」

「Yes, that one. The very same.」

For the time being, I wanted to test out if Emul would be able to take me back to Brynhildr Baskerville. Truth to be told, the ship was yet to be fully completed, but at least the bed has been installed there so it technically had a save point. That is why it should be possible for us to get there, but we shall see about that in a moment……

「Nmumumumumumumumumuh…… I… think that we can teleport there.」

「Seriously!? That would be great.」

Private car? Nah, forget about it. Private jet? Who needs that? Now is the ear of the Vorpal Bunnies! Soon enough, I do believe that every family will have one under their roof, taking care of it and in return being able to utilize their transportation powers. Can you feel it, Emul? Emul grabs me by the neck and starts to shake it, at the same trying to forcefully bring the teleportation gate down.

What happens when unstoppable force meets an immovable object……? I wonder if something like an almighty repulsion will occur?

For a few moments out there both of our visions go completely white, and then the coordinates change from that of the Skull Azuchi Castle to that of the basement room in Goldunine’s lair, right on board of Brynhildr Baskerville. Well, considering the size of this place, for it to fit an object quite like that…… I think it’s a space that Sammy-chan worked really hard on to create.

「Oh, I see how it is…… As long as you put it on top of some real coordianates, you can get to it no problem. Nice to know that.」

Isn’t that something that should be nerfed hard? No, wait. It’s hard to imagine that there isn’t a mobile and permanent base in this game available to the players. I mean, using only tents and cottages would be weird. This is a boat right here, but what about a carriage? Or maybe even something resembling an airship?

After all, they have nerfed INVENTORY before, so it would not be all that unusual to see a news regarding hotfixes to specific items. So if I ever see something like that on the main page of the game’s website, I won’t be surprised at all.

Besides, the one you should be afraid of in here is Sammy-chan. Wimp is but an accessory here. You might get spooked by her super stealth mode, and since she is a high-mobility anti-duel type of monster, you might actually call her the natural enemy of the Vorpal Bunnies. At least that’s how I see it.

「She’s like a snake, but filled with intelligence and compassion.」

「Sanraku-san, I honestly believe that the poisonous fumes might have finally gotten into your head…… PUGYUH!?」

While giving Emul an encouraging push, or rather dragging him behind me all the time, we got off of the Brynhildr Baskerville and we started to go further into the cave, looking for Wimp, Sammy-chan and Sigma.

「Ah there you are! I’m…… back……? WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK……!?」

「Nooo!!! I can’t! I’m already full! I’m already…… Muguebueh!?」

「Displeasure: I don’t like it either, Wimp, but this is something that must be done. The jelly material that supports the motor cortex of Armillet Gargantura contains extremely high mana particles.
