Intuition and premonitions are something native of Bakumtsu Online, according to my knowledge there should not have been anything like that being implemented in Kazegumo President. Or was it?
Oh well, it doesn’t really matter all that much, thinking about it will accomplish nothing…… Despite receiving a clear report from Takeda-san and trying to capture the game on my own, I was having a somewhat difficult of a time.
First of all, the skill level of the enemy army is raised quite a bit in comparison to the first half of the game, and even with the President working his ass off, the victory was not as easy to accomplish as one might think.
After eating the Emperor, the newly resurrected Last Boss Demon Lord a acquired for himself a buff called “The Emperor’s Might”. And after being defeated during the cutscene, the secretary character was abducted by him alongside the holy relic “Unification Flag”, and now the United States as well as the rest of the world were cast into quite the uproar.
I always thought that this is but a stat up item without any deeper meaning to it, but apparently that was not the case here. Apparently without a common symbol to rally them up for the common cause, the troops would start to lose morale and the worst case scenario they might even choose to desert the army.
In short, if you don’t get a result of A Rank or higher, the stats of your entire army will be cut in half. And with that sort of handicap, the road for clearing the game might be indeed quite thorny, difficult and far away.
Takeda-san has already cleared the game, but he was in a state where he did not talk much about what to do to make the game easier for those still struggling with it, but it seems that he improved the skills of his army by accumulating high scores against small fries from random encounters around the map.
「But that’s not a path that I dare to choose……!」
My manpower is the strongest in the entire world, and I’ll show you what kind of warfare I can wage…… In other words, it’s time to beat some troops into shape!
In this game, the difficulty of the battles is directly connected to the personal strength of the President, as well as the overall strength of his army. The stronger the troops are, the lower the difficulty of the mission and the number of enemy troops they would have to fight.
But even when your troops are the most op and broken powerful in the entire world, there are just some enemies that they cannot beat no matter what…… Honestly, I don’t really get it sometimes.
When it comes to the overworld battles, you let only the strongest troops with the highest chance of survival sortie out! And if you deploy troops whose stats are all B+ or higher, you even get a bonus to survivability! And the rest is a simple repetition of the already confirmed op solo President tactics.
「General Purgatory is dead. General Dark has been dealt with for the time being…… So, just how many generals that leaves me to deal with?」
For the time being, the flow of the story is to defeat the former generals of the Empire who were reincarnated as the demonic underlings of the Demon Lord, collect items, and pave the way for the capital city of the Demon King’s Empire.

In the current situation where Rice-chan has been kidnapped by a purple mountain of muscle called the Demon Lord, my only companions are the low tier troops. And the constant choices popping up left and right are not helping either in this particular scenario……
