In the next moment after that, the Judgment Chain’s effect that was holding Siegwurm down and making it impossible for him to move and making his body shine even brighter, was shattered into fine dust and dissipated onto the wind. After that, the Golden Dragon King swung his first forward…… This action of his was more than enough to crush and shatter Noirlind’s Black Dragon Breath in one fell swoop. It was such an unbelievable of a spectacle that for a moment there was nothing but silence. But then……

As long as the battle is carrying on, there is one single truth to it that cannot be denied: is you are going to be surprised or shock so much that you will lower your guard because of that, you are basically asking your opponent to go and attack you, preferably wiping you out on the spot with a single, powerful attack or ability. It is a typical rookie mistake that no veteran would ever make.

It happened so fast that Noirlind had no time or opportunity to react to it in any kind of way. The brilliantly shining Gold Dragon King moved forward towards the Black Dragon, closing the distance in between them in a blink of an eye. Then, Siegwurm raised his fist and slammed it with all of his might right into Noirlind’s side.

「VERY WELL. SHOW ME UST HOW POWERFUL AND BRAVE YOU ARE, PONENTIAL HEROES! I SHALL GO ALL OUT IN RESPECT OF YOUR WISHES, AND I EXPECT YOU TO DO THE VERY SAME HERE! FOR I AM A MOUNTAIN……! I AM A WALL……! I AM THE GATE……! OH, BRAVE HUMANS WHO FEAR NOT DEATH AND ADVERSITY! IF IT IS THE FUTURE THAT YOU DESIRE…… THEN THE WAY TOWARDS IT LEADS ONLY THOUGH ME!! OVERCOME ME!!!」

This mighty declaration was followed by the powerful and wild roar, one that seemed strong enough to basically cause the sky itself to tremble and shatter the atmosphere.

Fortunately, Noirlind managed to regain its collapsed posture in time, and now Akitsu Akane was able to safely land on its back. At this point in time it was hard to keep track of the number of times Noirlind was knocked over like that, but this time around there was a faint glimpse of damage effects leaking out of its mouth.

When Siegwurm knocked down Noirlind once more, this time around the Black Dragon went down with a mighty force, knocking down the Red Dragon Red Howl along the way. All this time Akitsu Akane was desperately hanging on to Noirlind’s back, but it was only by the thread and a collision with another dragon would not surely be of much help in here.

「A-As I would expect, talk about one hell of a riding experienceeeeeeeee!!!???」

Akitsu Akane’s words shift into a scream as the centrifugal force kicks into full effect here, making this ride resemble a wild roller coaster ride. However, this ride would certainly end really bad if it was not for Akitsu Akane’s muscle strength as he clung to Noirlind’s body. After that, his body was tossed and thrown in all sorts of directions without much of a rest in between.

「…… Huh? What’s that?」

While the aerial dogfight between the two Dragons was taking place, Akitsu Akane suddenly noticed something that previous escaped his attention.

「That huge castle…… Could it be……?」

Was it perhaps…… Starting to activate……? Or something like that……?

「Ah, Emily I did it! I somehow managed to get this thing to work properly!」

「Was there ever a thing or mechanism that you were unable to get to work?」

「I’m afraid that the counter system broke down beyond repair when the castle’s tower was half destroyed, but other than that I managed to fix whatever I was able to get my hands off with the spare parts that were left after the initial construction. The highest level that the profession of the Furniture Craftsman can achieve: “Feng Shui Master”.

These two jobs can be both categorized as the “Construction Workers” or “Production Workers”. Their main job is to create things from the raw materials that are provided to them and install various special effect into said objects and things. That being said, Skull Azuchi Castle was created entirely by the Players from production workers, so each and single piece of it was imbued with some sort of special effect. And there is also one more thing in the very depths of the castle, you could even call it Skull Azuchi Castle’s most hidden and closely guarded secret –– a stone statue capable of providing the Players with various blessings.

After all, this frontline base is not the one that was erected in order to cultivate someone or something. This frontline base was erected primarily in order to protect those players and things that were “already cultivated enough”. That is the original purpose of this stronghold. Nothing more, but at the same time nothing less.

After that command was shouted out loud, the Skull Azuchi Castle, build up from scratch entirely by the playerbase from various resources they provided and developed, started to shine brightly in the middle of the night, making the frontline base the brightest object in the vicinity at the current moment.
