ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 445: Dragon, Oh Dragon! PART 22 Part 1

「Well, sorry about that! Since you were sitting in one place like that, that cheek of yours looked way too punchable for me not to punch it with everything I had!」

「GUH, NUUUOOOAAAHHH……!?」

As expected, the wrath of the Dragon flames of resentment that burned the night sky was not nearly enough to burn the Skull Azuchi Castle to the ground. 「Well, I am a bird-human hybrid, thank you very little…… I mean, you can clearly see that, right? Are your eyes not working correctly or something? Want me to punch you again to see if that is going to fix the problem? Or maybe you’re just plain stupid?」

Seeing a mysterious red monster cutting off the Red Howl’s arm with ease and them the Bird—People getting all fired up for action was enough of an incentive for the vast majority of the players that were currently on the battlefield. The have seen that the Dragons can be injured seriously and they were all getting ready to join in on the offensive.

It was a good thing that the sight of the Red Dragon Red Howl managed to inspire the players to go into action like that. And what is even greater here is the fact that it was this dragon in particular that revealed that dragons in fact possess something of an Ace up their sleeve when they are being cornered.

It was also good that the existence of that Ace was announced in a flashy way like that. Because of that everyone would realize that this is a really big deal. Otherwise finding about that form as it happened in real time could have been disastrous.

It is like poking the treasure chest with a long stick before actually opening it without and caution at all. Oftentimes you won’t find anything but the loot inside of it, but sometimes some hidden elements or traps may be discovered in such a way. Here it would one more important matter: getting the last attack on the Colored Dragons. Raid Bosses of their class were bound to yield some powerful and extremely rare loot.

What’s more, because of the “Increased Fire Resistance” granted by the Skull Azuchi Castle, the Red Dragon has become the primary target for all the players out there. And even if it switched to its final form in a desperate attempt at defensing itself, with that buff still being active there was no way it would be able to defend itself from the overwhelming physical violence coming from all the players. It was as clear as day that the Red Dragon was about to be killed in not so far away future.

「Now’s our chance! Push forward! Push forward! It showed us it’s trump card and when it will try to use it again, we are going to be ready for it! The base is safe for now, so let’s finish this while we can!」

Saiga-100 lets out a loud shout, trying to propagate the people to give the fight all they have and push forward without stopping. Medium-sized guilds react to the voices of major top guilds right away, and smaller guilds also respond to the momentary unification of players’ intentions. A simple psychology, but extremely effective one.

All of the Healers that are present unify their effort to patch the attackers up and recover the HP of as many people as they could here, and the Magic Casters also organize in larger groups, coordinating their magic volleys occasionally accompanied by more powerful individual spells.
