But to be perfectly honest here, Neither Karoshis UQ nor Saiga-100 here are all that obsessed with the idea of Black Dragon Noirlind actually living through this battle. And if the Library’s guess is to be trusted, the rewards the players should obtain by satisfying the first or the second condition of this quest should not differ all that much, if they are going to differ at all.

However, after fighting for such a prolonged period of time here, the two leaders were strangely starting to feel the same.

「You know, all of that provoking us and blabbering on about Heroes and whatnot…… It would be really regrettable if we were unable to beat him in the end, don’t you think? Or rather, I would never forgive myself for that.」

But otherwise don’t overdo it! If you feel like you are about to die, just switch with someone else and patch yourselves up! You can find healing and MP Recovery potions near the New World Research Vessel!」

They are both players first, and the leaders of the great guilds second. And the weapons that they are brandishing are something more than just tools meant to harm one’s enemies. They are symbols. Symbols that gather others around them and lead them towards victory.
