Saying that, the Lady Saint places one of her fingers at the rough scar that runs across my torso, looking just like a tattoo. At the same time I can clearly feel Joset glaring daggers at me and emanating a murderous aura the likes of which I have never felt before. Please, forgive me! I would start already begging for mercy if I could, believe me! I feel as though I could make short work of him now if I tried hard enough. However, I have no means of doing that for the time being, so let’s give this idea a rest for now. Does that mean that the effects of the carved wounds has been invalidated for a short period of time? This is something that I have been waiting for for a long time, to say the least. The floral motive might be a little bit of an overkill here, but at least it work in my favor. So if I am to suffer being called a pervert because of that, so be it. I would say that it is going to be well worth it in my book.

「Wow, this is the best feeling ever! I know that it only means that I can properly wear armor for the time being, but it somehow feels as though I have won at life for the current moment!」

I don’t know why, but for some inexplicable reason I’m starting to feel excited! With something like that, I have no other way but to show everyone my best performance yet!

Because of those carved wounds I have had many encounters in this game. I have suffered many defeats because of them. But at the same time I have also managed to emerge victorious from some seriously dangerous situations. It can even be said that without those wounds I would have never been able to sell the Crystal Scorpion materials to the Golden Scale Company.

It is because of those wounds that I have managed to become best buddies with Crystal Scorpions. And I may say that, but they were still a valuable source of both EXP points and materials, so even though we are friends, I had to exterminate them on a regular basis. But even if Siegwurm is the only Gold among the Unique Monsters, I will show it to him! A gold radiance that shines brighter than anything else ever before on this battlefield! Mark my words!

For some reason Break had a really bad time trying to incorporate those materials into armor of any kind. No matter what she did, it was always ending in failure or would yield results that were not at all satisfying. So in the last ditch attempt she turned towards Catzeria and their Jewelry craft, which resulted in the art of sewing the Golden Crystal corpion materials directly into the fabric that she wanted to use. From there it was all a smooth sailing. The result was this golden and black cloth armor…… Fashion sense aside, it was something that was really great!

I mean, I’m the one to blame here! This cannot be helped! After all, it was me who said to Bilac to not mind its hardness and just make sure to make it easy to move around in! Especially in closed spaces! So the result is this armor that looks more like a set of clothes rather than anything else!

No, no, no! This may look like normal clothes, but the key points are well protected by the armor parts! The overall vibe I’m getting from this thing is like a: comfy and sturdy protective gear that you can kick back and relax in during the holiday season.

「No matter how you look at it, it looks just like clothes……」

「But it looks to be more expensive than heavy armor, so it should at least compensate for some poor Vitality stat, right?」

「What kind of materials were used in making this?」

「The rare materials from the Golden Crystal Scorpions and some rare ores as well. If I were to sell all the materials used in creating this armor it would net me roughly two hundred million mani, or something like that.」

I wasn’t ready to use it up just yet, so I kept it in the inventory in the back of the chest just for the right time when I would really need it the most. But if I didn’t have to be scared of the carved wounds for now, I could use it to my heart’s content without issue!

「For the time being, if you put on the lapis lazuli Star Cloak, isn’t it making me look like a warrior?」

「…… I mean, with some really hard imagination it might actually give an impression like that?」

CLANK! The iron mask that imitates eight eyes wraps itself around my face. Then all of the eight eyes around it light up at the same time, signaling that they are ready for action.
