SWOOSH! A flash of bright light coming out of the way, but not actually aiming at us……!? Kuh, oh! I see it now! It must have been Brynhildr Baskerville!
「Y-You’d better stop fooling around in there, you bastard! What would you do if that shit actually ended up hitting me, huh!?」

A minute ago, before a certain attack was fired at a certain place.

At the same time he was standing on the deck, and once he saw the energy attack coming his way he dodged to the side and right into the Type Six Magic Cannon once more, getting it ready to fire in a flash.
A magical arrow collides with the golden light that cuts through the night sky in a trajectory that is slightly offset from the front. At that moment, the magic “Flare Blow –Explosion –“ contained in the magic arrow is being released and its effect activated.
But there was no expected effect here. Apparently the two magic powers must have resonated with one another on impact, affecting one another and effectively cancelling each other out before they were able to do anything to their designated targets.
「Tsk!」
A projectile of magic light penetrates Brynhild Baskerville’s hull. However, it was not the perfect shot that was intended, because its orbit was slightly off. It was just slightly off, but it was the effect of that Explosion spell detonating a moment ago.
「I believe in you, Brynhildr Baskerville! And because of that, I will even pitch in on the repairs costs when the time will come for that ––––––!!」
With almost half of his body burned by that magical attack, Yashiro Bird’s eyes stay locked on one target, and one only.
The hull of the ship squeaks and continues to burn, but the body of the player standing atop of it does not waver, showing an unwavering will to fight.

Even though that attack managed to shave off about ninety percent of Yashiro Bird’s HP bar, he still manages to aim the ballista with a deadly precision without flinching even for a moment. It was even more of an impressive feat to accomplish judging by the fact that more than half of his body was now burned to a crisp, even if the system was dulling the sense of pain.
It was as if his concentration was at its absolute peak at this very moment. It was as if this level of pain was not even something that was worth paying attention to.
「–––––– Ahh, this is going to net me a neat perfect score.」
And then he released the arrow.

In response to the light projectile that hit the ship, Yashiro Bird released his own arrow that flew through the air, conveying Yashiro Bird’s intentions and emotions far better than any words would ever be able to do.

The severed upper right horn goes flying in the air and then disappears in a flutter of particle effects. I could see the burst of flames in the distance which means that both Brynhild Baskerville and Yashiro Bird must have been taken out, but they managed to do it. I’ll give them both that.
And after one of Siegwurm’s horns got taken out of the picture, it was only a moment before one of his golden clones fluttered in the air and vanished without a trace as well.
「How…… How do you like that, huh!?」
Hmm, who shouted that just now? Oh wait, it was me. Huh, I didn’t even know that my voice could be so loud like that.
That leaves only four horns to take care of! We can do it! As long as we are going to remain vigilant and observe Siegwurm’s movements, we should be able to do this, whether he like it or not!
「Rei! It’s time for Armageddon, if you please!」

Even so, Full Dive VR is a system that basically makes dreams come true by sending radio waves to the brain of the user, and it is something that essentially has no form or substance aside from its physical package.

I can’t hear any voice or sound at all, but I know that the magic that was used to observe me smashed right into the Dis Pater Shield…… And then the Mirror Shield takes all of that magic power into itself and unleashes its true potential with it!
