ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 487: Super Exciting Battle Where You Shoot Huge Blocks Right in Your Opponent’s Face Part 2

「God fucking damn it…… Saina, do you think you would be able to destroy that huge gel block?」

「Negative. I’m afraid that the sheer mass alone of this beast is going to be more than enough to nullify most of my attacks. That being said, the destruction itself is possible here, but at the same time is highly unrealistic.」

Hmm…… Wait, just let me think about it for a moment.

The level of the individual monsters around this floor is about thirty. And I believe that the level of the main body here cannot be all that higher. Its strength lies elsewhere. It lies in its ability to cause so much rampage and produce smaller gel golems almost without stopping.

The battlefield in itself is square in shape, which explains why the block attacks only come at us in straight lines.

As it turns out, the Techno Magi-Gels that are summoned as small fries here follow one of the two distinct patterns of behavior: one patter is simply to attack the enemy, and the other is to go towards the “Developer” in order to be turned into moving blocks.

That being said, destroying the blocks here is a highly unrealistic option, just as Saina stated not so long ago. But the only salvation here is that the building blocks just move around in a set pattern, never breaking that pattern. This means that as long as you avoid them, they cannot hurt you.

Which. Would. Mean. More. Or. Less. That……

「Something like that?」

The gel block approaches the wall and tries to merge with it. At that exact time I fire my gun right at that exact wall tile of the boss field, paying close attention to not stand in its direct path just to be on the safe side.

「Alva! Sigma! You can send those blocks to the boss if you break the walls or the floor near those blocks! Be mindful as to not hit your comrades and send those blocks at the bastard! Give him hell!」

And if we start to break the walls and floors, you can be sure that something is going to be sent to fix them!

Sorry, but I am going to earn complete control not only over the “Developer”, but it’s “Ants” as well! And nothing is going to stop me!

Seeing that one of the “Ants” came right away to repair the wall, I sank another bullet or two into it, stole the controls over it from the “Developer” and assumed the position in the driver’s seat, ready to steer this bike wherever I wanted it to go.

「Sigma! We are going for a ride!」

「Roger that! What is our next order of business going to be?」

「We are going to keep going up and aiming for its head! That’s what we are going to do!」

It’s pretty much like passing a baton in the relay. While I jumped out of the driver’s seat, Sigma somersaulted over me and assumed the position in the seat that I just made vacant a moment ago. It was so graceful of an action and it looked so acrobatic that under any normal circumstances I would have come to a halt and clapped my hands. But, I guess that applause can wait for now.

「Alva!!」

「WHAT!?」

「I’m going to start sending black the boss’s way like crazy! So stop attacking and focus on not getting hit by them by accident! It would be a shame if you or your spirit got crushed to death by something like that!」

「Huuuuuuh!?」

Now, let’s have some fun, shall we? Here it goes! A three—story block tower, coming right up!

「UNO! DOS! TRES! FIRE!!!」

Hey! You Ants bastard! Watch your step! I’m working on my masterpiece here, so don’t get in my way! Stop offsetting the blocks that I already made into motion! But……

「Interesting……! Using blocks to do battle like that is certainly a first for me……!」

The piled up blocks just fly in the air back and forth. Some of them were even flying so fast that they caused parts of the walls and floor to get completely destroyed.

Sometimes the blocks would come our way because of the way in which gravity works in this place. However, that was not a problem for us. Rather, we could use those blocks to adjust our positions and prepare ourselves for the next portions of the incoming attacks.

Once all of my bullets are exhausted, the gel block is cut and MP is collected from it, and it seems that the monster judgment remains even in this figure. Which is good.

And after being hit by the fair number of hardened blocks, it seems that the “Developer’s” moves were finally starting to slow down considerably.

They can even be used as a bullet fuel while being bullets themselves…… This is the best possible synergy that we could have possibly asked for in here.

If you hit all four remaining bullets into the wall, the gel block will slide at a tremendous speed while squeezing the water of the 「Land Wave」 that covers the floor, creating an even bigger tidal wave.

A sniper rifle blows from directly above in the gap exposed by the collision of the gel block on the face.
