ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 493: Another Name for This Would Be Fairy Godly Fist Part 1
I don’t exactly know why, but all of a sudden I was really into it. It was honestly a mystery for me why that would be in the first place.
All of a sudden I would develop those new ideas that I have never even thought about before, like sticking myself to the walls.
If sticking myself to the walls would turn out to not be helpful in the slightest, I would simply try to do the same thing, but this time around with the ceiling instead. With much better results.
But even so, even with all the effort I was putting into my actions, it was still proving to not be enough sometimes. Because sometimes I was still getting utterly destroyed by people.
Sometimes they would squeeze me to the point of bursting, like you would do with a juicy, ripe fruit.
Sometimes they would cut me into thin ribbons or thin slices, just like the experienced sushi chef would filet a fish.
Sometimes I would end up being squashed to bloody paste by rubble, cars, or any other type of huge debris with a mass greatly exceeding my own.
Sometimes I would be blown into the water and end up drowning after sinking to the very bottom and being unable to move around or swim thanks to my huge mass.
Sometimes I would have the whole buildings or houses being brought down right onto my head, simply because my enemies were lazy enough to not want to give chase after me and wanting to end things as soon as possible, no matter the casualties.
Sometimes I would go down with an explosion as a result of the nearby gasoline station being blown up, not because someone was intending to do that, but most probably because the station got caught up in some sort of accident or cross-fire.
And for the time being I can say that going down in an explosion was the worst and the most frustrating kind of death that there was. Mostly because it felt that I didn’t even do anything wrong, it just happened to happen completely at random and with no intent whatsoever behind it.
Oh, and let’s not forget about the fact that sometimes I would even end up dead just because, without even managing to do anything at all. I would just stand there…… and BAM! All of a sudden you just end up dead just like that.
Judging from all those earlier accidents and mishaps that just kept on happening to me for no reason at all, I was beginning to suspect that I might actually have some sort of secret “Klutz” skill installed on me without even myself knowing about it. But as the time went on those accidents were happening to me less and less to the point where I could finally say that I was more or less adapted into the system of Galaxia Heroes: Chaos once more.
And as if to prove that theory, here is a certain example:
「Impossible…… A perfect defeat? How could this be……?」
「You have my thanks here, my friend…… Thanks to you I was able to completely restore my TQC! But now, let’s not forget about the most important part! It’s time to face your judgment, my little Tinky ☆~! Lights out!!!」
「GUAAAHHH!?!?!?」
Twinkle ☆ Wand is a really stylish weapon that I just managed to obtain and ever since then I used it exclusively for smacking people around and dealing finishing blows. Just like right now. I made a mighty swing towards my opponent’s head and I managed to rip his head off of his shoulders and send it flying in a wonderful arch. The name of the player unfortunate enough to cross me here is “Dr. Gateau Chocolat”…… and at the current moment I managed to achieve a three wins zero loses against that guy, which surely must make it feel extra insulting for him. But now that I have managed to achieve a flawless victory…… I know! Let’s try to achieve a no hit flawless victory in the next match! That sounds like a really nice goal to strive towards!
「Oh yeah, talk about a stylish finish here…… Now that’s what I’m talking about……!」
No, yeah. Maybe it’s high time to actually try something else here. I theoretically know that my opponent is most probably going to request a Cursed Prison versus Cursed Prison duel, but for the current moment I have been using it so much that I am actually becoming tired of it. I mean, I have to use it in order to properly understand how it interacts with various elements of the environment here, because assuming that just brute force is going to be enough here is going to be a quick recipe for a disaster. That is why a change of pace is needed from time to time…… That is why I chose another character to play as, which is Twinkle Pixie. And I must say, her super close quarters combat style really resonates with me on an entirely different level.
「Now then……」
I have been on a winning streak for some time now, so it would be about time for my rank to be promoted into the top tier once more, wouldn’t you say? That being said, it’s pretty weird how in a game like this one you can easily fall into either winning or losing streak seemingly out of nowhere…… Hmm, I guess the way that I am now, I would still be no match for someone like Silvia Goldberg. Not by a long shot. No, with someone like her, who can adapt her playstyle on the go like that, winning in my current state would surely be impossible. But that’s just me with no energy drinks in my system speaking. If I had some nice fuel inside of me, it would have been an entirely different story……
「Oh, it looks like I was able to find another match, nice.」
Hmm? What the hell is this? My opponent’s name seems to be “Katsu’s Crown”. Doesn’t that make you think of jellyfish of some sort? I mean, this thing…… Hmmmm? Hooooo? Fuuuuh?
No, no, no, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves here. I mean, it’s not like this name is patented or anything like that. So, there exists a very slim chance that it might actually be someone else, and not the person who I think it is……
For the time being, while the match is about to start let us say hello to our randomly selected opponent. Oh, there he is! Found him! Hmm, about the character that they are playing…… It is certainly not Armed Lava, and not even Silver Jumper. So who can that be? Oh well, for the time being let us try to make that guy’s life as miserable as I possibly can…… There we go.
「Katso Crown-san, here’s hoping for a good match! (needlessly raised voice)」
「Eh? Ahh, y—yeah, here’s hoping for a good match as well……」
