Kuh, so far the Sheriff tactic seemed to be working wonders here, but…… It brings one fundamental problem to the table.

In the Dance Gun Duels you obviously needed to reload your ammo from time to time, but the specifics of the game made it so the ammo amount was virtually infinite and would never run out on you.

However, here there is no such neat mechanic. Not to mention that Dust actually needs to hit stuff in order for him to generate bullets in the first place. So no matter how ham you would wish to go on the offensive here, there will always be an issue of consumption and replenishment not being balanced in the slightest!

Moreover, since I also have the NPC guns here, they are pretty much nothing damage-wise, and when faced with a tremendous opponent such as the Valkyrie, the bullets from them are all going to run out in no time at all.

I knew it! This stupid piece of scrap and bricks is just way too annoying for her own good!

But certainly, the Number Two in the whole United States of America is not to be underestimated…… If I want to have any chances of winning this thing here, then I must go beyond a mere “Offense Versus Defense” kind of thinking. No, it would not be nearly enough here. Here I must also think about how to push the aggro of the Valkyrie all on stupid TV—Head while continuing to pressure her at the same time. This also means that I’m going to have my plate quite full for the time being.

It only takes a moment to analyze things and come to a conclusion that in terms of the results I am always one step behind Amelia Sullivan. My HP bar is currently sitting at about fifty percent, and with the bullet deficit being a looming threat at all times, it just goes to confirm that I am at a constant disadvantage here at all times.

But now what do I do? Am I that kind of person who is going to opt for total bloodshed just so that I can gain an immediate profit? Sometimes victory is just not possible no matter what you try to do in order to turn the tables around. Or rather, sometimes the sheer amount of effort and improvisation that you would have to do on your part is just not worth it.

But this gives birth to a whole different question: am I ready to place all my bets on the losing hand, hoping for a miracle in such a hopeless situation?

Super Secret Ultimate Move, Activate!

Betting your all on a losing hand and hoping to make the impossible happen is the ultimate kind of romance that you can experience! It’s for those kinds of situations that I have delved into the world of video games in the first place!

Dust’s Super Ultimate Move is kind of similar to that of Cursed Prison’s “Prison Break”. It is not a Behavioral Special Move like the one that Meetias possesses, but rather a State Change Special Move.

You see, according to the lore of the Galaxia Heroes universe, “Dust To Dust” is the name of a special deadly bullet that was granted to Dust by Helzebub, one of the highest figures of authority in the entirety of Hell. So it would only be expected that this bullet possesses some truly nasty qualities to itself.

This effect is that all of the bullets that were loaded into the guns disappear for a brief period of time, replaced by a single Good Bullet and a single Evil Bullet in every gun. Those bullets deal great amounts of damage on their own, but if you manage to hit your target with both the Good Bullet and Evil Bullet, it will result in deal additional extra amounts of damage.

「Are you being serious right now!? You’re really going to break in the Super Ultimate Move this early into the match!?」

「If your advantage is having more HP than I do at the current moment, then it would only stand to reason that I must do everything in my power to shave off that HP and even the scales, right……!?」

「You can most certainly try to do it! However, don’t come crying here later when it won’t work out for you!」

Also, there is a strict time limit to this Super Ultimate Technique. And it’s exactly twenty seconds. So this means that in that time limit of twenty seconds I must make sure to land two successful shots. Otherwise the bullets will disappear.

「It’s on! Prepare to die, you bastarddd……!」

From this point onward I guess it would be kind of fitting to actually start referring to her as the Raid Boss.

If you point the muzzle her way, she has no other choice right now but to evade it. And while she is doing that, I can shorten the distance between us and make some action that is going to throw her off balance. So I made a roundhouse kick, but it seemed it was way too shallow. And then I was hit with a counterattack in the form of a sonic boom generated by the loudspeaker that was hanging from the TV-Head’s waist. I could hell the whole right side of my body going numb as a result.

「Kuh, ooh……!!」

I fire from my left gun. There is a grey bullet that is being ejected from the inside of the gun and it flies in a straight line as if it was being drawn into the TV-Head’s body, effectively hitting her left thigh.

「Fuck! You stupid piece of shit!」

「And that’s the first successful shot!」

No need to rush things. I still have more than ten seconds left on the clock here. Then the Valkyrie holds up her spear and thrusts it right my way. You’re getting in my way! Get the fuck out of here, you stupid piece of junk!

After landing that first blow with “Dust To Dust” I just throw the left gun away and discard it. After all, it’s not going to be of much use to me when its empty like that. Now, if we were to use the ShangriLa Frontier’s system here…… I do believe that there is a named NPC that is following me with its gaze.

「Defective Bipedalism!」

It would be just what I needed here, but there is always a risk of losing my balance and getting out of control! But what the hell! It’s the risk I am willing to take in here, no problem!

「Ten seconds left!」

You stupid TV-Head…… Daaagh! God fucking damn it! Of course she would try to get away now of all times! But thank you very much for that! One hundred points to you! But what are you going to do when I do this, huh!?

I hold up the right gun. Then I sharpen my concentration to absolute maximum…… and then I pull the trigger.

The loud sound of the gun being fired reverberates through the silence that befell the battlefield. TV-Head must have realized that there was no recoil to my body after that shot and turns around to face me, when……

Who said that I cannot fire normal bullets in between the shots that make “Dust To Dust”? I quickly discard the gun that I borrowed from another friendly police officer and draw the gun with the second Dust To Dust bullet loaded into it. It’s a good thing indeed that I managed to learn that quick draw technique from my time spent in Bakumatsu Online!

And now it’s time for some double layered “Dust To Dust” Divine Punishment!

「In the time of your greatest need, to whom you are going to turn to with your prayers? To God? Or maybe you’re going to plead with the Devil? It doesn’t really matter, because once Dust To Dust sets its sights on you, the answer can only be one!」

The second bullet manages to dig right into the body of the TV-Head, achieving the conditions that were needed here……
