Since Valkyrie was pretty much an outsider during this match, none of us paid her any attention and instead of focusing on her we just drove her away from here. However, even though we were ignoring her, she was still pretty much a part of the delicate balance on this battlefield. A balance that was slowly tipping away towards the Xenosergus’s side.
Being hit directly to the face with my “Gun Hand” special move, the Valkyrie comes to a stop as if she got stunned on the spot. The cracks covering her whole cheek begin to widen and more and more fire spews out of it, as if something inside of her was ready to erupt.
All this time now the War Maiden was doing nothing more but destroying everything in her sight while simultaneously destroying herself in the process. And right about now my “Gun Hand” should have given her that one last push that she needed to throw off the edge.
