Hmm, that testimony alone is not really conclusive. At least, it’s not enough to be able to conclude that we have ourselves a Goldunine in here. Because we cannot rule out the possibility that some other monsters here can summon snakes as well. Also, a single witness is not all that reliable of a source.
Plus, many small snakes, huh? I get a feeling that Goldunine would never forsake the quality and go with quantity. So instead of a whole bunch of small fries she would have created a one or two specialized bodyguards, something like Sammy-chan. Either that, or maybe……?
「Hmm…… What do you think about that, Emul?」
「If you are asking me for my opinion, I’ll only say this here: no snake is a good snake! …… But that’s only because the entire history of Vorpal Bunnies is ridden with battle and wars against snakes.」
As a matter of fact, Emul was not his usual muffler self wrapped around my neck, but transformed and took her usual place right at the top of my head. And even though I asked that question, I didn’t even expect a sensible answer. Plus there is always the issue of Goldinine digging those tunnels under Rabbitz and trying to invade for the longest time. Not to mention the fact that apparently Goldunine was trying to distribute her clones all over the continent for a reason that she herself only knew.

I managed to receive an invitation to the Orchestra event, but as you all know no invitation is really worth anything unless you actually bother with going to the venue itself. Now, if we want to go there, then the closest safe point that I have to the location specified in the invitation is…… the cave at the very bottom of the Sigmonia Frontline Valley.
Plus, it would be a nice thing to actually check on the Hetarenine who was left in here to her own devices for quite a while now. And what I witnessed after the teleportation was completed was……

Somewhat, this place…… Originally it was shaped most probably thanks to the poisoned secretions from Sammy-chan that melted the rocks around the original cave. And I know that actually calling that “sculpting” here may be a little bit of an overstatement, but it is the closest thing that comes to my mind when I think about it.
I can see that there are already quite a lot of finished products lying about the cave, and the person in question was sculpting something else while at the same time wrapping something in a small cloth, and then polishing something else……

In the next moment I found myself right next to that sculpture, grabbed both of its wings and started to pull on them, spreading them apart as if I was going to actually rip them off the rest of the body.

Oh yeah!? Is that what you think a demon looks like!? Then watch me closely! This is what a true demon looks and behaves like!

This chick is some serious dumbass here…… And what is this even? Why are those things not lined up according to the themes they represent, but are put all together without even the slightest thought put into it? …… Demons right next to regular monsters and mechanical zombies……? And are those mechanical vehicles? It’s a good thing that she was able to make so many of them, but the fact that most of them had bird heads was a little bit of an overkill in my opinion. And their eyes could have been a little bit closer to one another, but that’s just me nitpicking at this point.

They all bear some similarity to snakes, but are not snakes! They are like wyverns, or dragons, or anything else in between! Right now I simply lack the sufficient words to express just how great Sammy-chan’s work really is!

The positioning of some of the furniture around this place is different from when I first came to visit this place, how should I say it……? Could it be that the two of them started to tinker with it, changing some of the parts and adding some colors and personal touches?
「Ah, yeah! I know! The food is running out! And I want to! Some spices!」

What’s that? Do my ears deceive me? Or was that stupid piece of shit was acting like a spoiled child demanding things from its parents? …… But what is this feeling? Is it really alright? Is it okay for me to just leave this pitiful creature as she is now? Won’t it end rather poorly?
No, I mean, her level went up quite considerably, so she should be able to take care of herself like that. Plus she has Sammy-chan to protect her, and Sammy-chan’s level is also unusually high, so that’s reassuring. But she herself is around level ninety or so, so it should really be fine.
