Throughout my “Dojo Rumble” journey I have learned a few interesting facts. People flock to those schools in order to broaden their horizons, to learn new and useful skills, increase their own parameters or to simply experience something new, something that they have never experienced before. And I can perfectly understand the urge to nurture all of the above urges. And that is precisely why I do believe that there are going to be schools in the New World as well. Of course, there may be some of the schools that are specified for species other than humans, but that is beside my concerns for now. As long as there is civilization out there, there is going to be martial arts. And where there will be martial arts, you are going to find me as well, ready to learn all there is to learn.
There is also one more source of information, the reason for why I am so certain: the “Library”! They have information on all the regions known so far and what’s of interest posted all over their bulletin boards! Talk about handy!
「Now, onwards and forward! Towards the Fishmen School of Martial Arts we go!」
「The process involves overwhelming your enemy with a flurry of unexpected strikes…… Huh? That’s it? And they dare to call this a martial arts school? Seriously? Is that all what Fishmen Martial Arts are all about?」
「Plus, not to be rude or anything, but that name hardly even sells that so-called martial art to me…… Incidentally, do you think so too, that this martial art is basically no good?」
「Don’t be stupid. It must be effective. I mean, think about it. When you fight in the water you need to know what you are doing, otherwise you are just going to flail about without really accomplishing anything.」
「Alright, and with that I am lost.」
No, I am curious about that as well, but even though I am curious, there is nothing we can do about it. At least not now. Not with the current level of technology that we are facing.
Now, now! Listen to me! Just listen! And don’t make a face like that when you look at me! It’s seriously depressing! Besides, everyone is allowed to dream from time to time, right!? That’s what dreams are for!
That being said, I would lie if I did not say that I did not have at least some level of reservations for this, or that I was even worried about that idea. However, since there was nothing we could do about that for a moment we decided to go to the frontline base in the New World and we went towards the makeshift encampment that the Giants set up in the vicinity ever since the Siegwurm battle.
Because a huge portion of the forest has been burned to the ground as a result of the Dragon Disaster War, the production workers ended up being really salty about that, since they have lost a huge portion of the terrain that was basically free resources for them to their job correctly. However, since the economy hates the void, in the place of the burned forest, it was decided to turn that place into a sort of makeshift living district. Thus the literal forest of small tents and huts that appeared here seemingly overnight.
Oh well, I get the fact that losing part of the forest was a tragedy from the resource-point of view, but on the other hand the newly built living quarters and everything surrounding them made it possible for some of the less well-off players to gain the opportunity to make some much needed money. But speaking of living quarters and the Giants encampment…… I wonder if they really have one? Maybe that Giant Onee-san will know something about it? But then again, it would be really unexpected for Giants to have their own martial arts. And it would be even less likely that they would be willing to share them with a human they know next to nothing about.
But I guess we shall see about that.

「You! Who the hell are you!?」
「Umm, me is……」
Now, things went south way faster than I would initially anticipate…… For starters, Giants are an immensely strong race (strong might actually be an understatement here). And that goes for the both tribes that we have stationed here. And as you would expect from someone so strong and violent, the moment someone unfamiliar set foot onto their territory, they were quick to show immense hostility right off the bat.
「Sanraku-san, Sanraku-san! I may not remember it all that well because there was so much going on at that time, but weren’t you actually in your woman from the first time that you have made contact with the Giants?」
「…………Ah」
Hmm, now that you mention it, it might have actually been the case here. Yeah, I need to pay more attention to details like that. Otherwise I might come to regret it sooner rather than later. Not only was I a woman, but I also brandished Aradval Rebuild, so maybe that will jog their memory a little bit? Will that be enough for those giant idiots to realize that “Sanraku ♂” actually equals “Sanraku ♀”? But there is always a possibility that they might think that I actually stole Aradval Rebuild from someone else.
「Ugh…… Wait! Give me five seconds! Can you do that? Wait just a moment?」
「Right, we shall wait! And then, if you are even a second after that without a proof, it’s off with your head!」
「Fine by me.」
「S-Sanraku-san!? What is this!? I’m shocked! What kind of magic trick did you use!?」
Oh yeah, that. I mean, I don’t know if you can call it a magic trick or if it is just something that comes out naturally to me, but I guess you could say that this is also something that I got from observing Akitsu Akane…… But I guess that when it comes to Giants the best way to convince them about something is through force. I mean, I get a feeling that’s what is actually way more suited for their warmongering and territorial nature. So even if they will want to throw hands with me, then sure, I guess that this is what we are going to do. Now, what was the name of that Giantess who seemed to be in charge here? I can’t seem to remember it all that well.
「Are you that gal that we have met during the Dragon Disaster War?」
