ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 534: An Orchestra Just For You PART 14 Part 1

The place that both Dillnadia and I decided to relocate was located at the back of the place that was considered to be the Giants’ “embassy” in this place of sorts. And judging from the looks of it, it was supposed to be a sort of a private office.

「Alright Emul, now try to behave and don’t make a sound. I do believe that this matter is going to be related to you in a sense.」

「K-Kyuuuh……」

Good gosh, this is going to be really hard. I just hope that Emul won’t do something stupid that is going to bite us both in the ass at some later date.

「I’m sorry about interrupting you like that. Now, if you would be so kind as to continue.」

「Understood…… In the first place, there is one thing that you need to understand. It’s true that Dolodana was a Hero, yes. However, the title of the Hero is not something that pertains to him alone. Coordinates…… and messages in forms of legends. And from what I understand, Dillnadia intends to start the conversation with those two legends. Which is hardly a surprise here.

「–––––– The first one is as follows: for those who came here from beyond the raging waves…… Follow the trail of your nostalgia, and seek out your Mother.」

「…… Mother?」

My mother is currently overly excited about Aunt Yvonnes and Goliath Beetles and Real Amazones that you can find in some remote parts of Africa. As far as I know and am concerned.

And since imports of those things are banned across the globe, does that mean that I will have to prepare myself to go to Africa at some point? And I may be saying that, but there is no way that I am actually going to do it. Besides, she might not even be there by the time I get there. Actually, it can be said that it is something that can be confirmed with almost utmost certainty. Weathermon, Yakuza Bunny, the AI of the Whale ship…… all of those things were fishy to me for the most of the time, and now I was starting to understand why that was.

And with all the fragmentary information in my possession, as well as the words that were spoken right now, I am sure about eighty percent……

The giant spacecraft Bahamut. It has three bodies, and one of them is presumably located somewhere near Firstea.

No, but isn’t it a miracle that all three parts of Bahamut happen to exist together on this planet at the same time? That underground space…… the lab that Edward used to the point of his own death, apparently arrived in a non-legitimate way…… Originally, it was supposed to be a place where the players should have arrived after completing more of the World Quests. Or at the very least that’s my take on it.

「If I ever happen to get any sort of clue about that message, then I promise you that I am going to share it with you as soon as possible.」

「Right…… Then let’s switch our focus to the next promise. To tell you the truth, it is something directly related to the Giants, but…… It says: when the one that the Giants deem worthy as a Hero comes from beyond the raging waves, grant them the passage to the low tower and conquer that place together.」

「The Low Tower?」

What a contradictory name that is. It’s like trying to push a sliding door. It sounds just like something that seems to be physically impossible, only to be proven to you that it is actually physically possible. Yes, for example, if you make the first floor deep underground and only the top floor is exposed to the surface, it cannot be said that it cannot be a low tower…… Does that mean that its structure is buried deep underground?

「No, that’s not it. That is something that is actually tied to the second promise.」

So, does that mean that the third “coordinates” show something completely different from this?

「And now the last thing: the coordinates scroll. …… It’s all contained within this picture.」

「Hmm?」

I thought that this thing was supposed to be a wooden pillar of sorts, but it was actually an oversized wooden box. And Dillnadia just casually opened it up. I don’t know what kind of leather was used to make this, but it was really thin, kind of like parchment paper. Also, the scroll was so large that it had to be rolled up inside of the box.

Dillnadia is about three meters tall herself. But still, the scroll was so big that when she was holding it rolled up in her arms it looked just like a giant spear or a wooden log. At least that’s how it looked from my perspective.

And the string that was keeping the scroll rolled up…… Or was it really a string? Doesn’t look that way to me, really. Was it perhaps a beard? Whatever that thing was, it was now being undone, and once it was untied the scroll rolled open, revealing the contents that were drawn all over its surface.
