「…… Yo? Whatever the fuck is this thing supposed to be?」

「Yes, you see, you are now gazing into the “Coordinates Picture” written and reproduced by the Chief of all Giant Tribes from generation to generation.」

Ahh…… Yeah, that would certainly explain why this picture looked as though it was painted by the pre—school child.

The thing that was drawn all over the scroll that was spread right in front of my eyes was…… Umm, how do I say this without sounding offensive……? Yeah, graffiti. A graffiti that would certainly put any mentally challenged child to shame. It was so poorly drawn that it was actually hard to figure out what this thing was supposed to depict at first glance, but it was most probably an outline of something? Not to mention that the colors were all messy and weird…… I have almost next to no artistic sense in me, but I am sure that I would have been able to do a better job with it if someone entrusted me with this task.

Hahaha, just take a look at those penguins! Their arms are actually being separated from their bodies! And what is this strangely-shaped animal even supposed to be in the first place? Is that supposed to be a suppon? Or maybe a turtle with a whole lot of strange protrusions in places where its head was supposed to be located? Yeah, this whole picture actually sucks a whole lot of…… rat’s…… ass……?

……………… Hmm?

「HMMMM!? HMMMMMM!?!? HHHHHHMMMMMM!?!?!?!?!?!?」

I feel as though there is a raging thunderstorm right inside of my mind at the current moment. And this one is even stronger and more violent than the previous one, to boot. This……! This shape! Those unnatural contours! Those animals! Those beasts! Those continents!

「It’s a map!」

「A map? No, I don’t know about that. This is……」

No, but still…… Yeah, there’s no doubt about it. This shape looks just like the soft-shelled turtle, it is exactly how I remember it. It is almost exactly the same as the overall shape of the Old World if you were to look at it from the bird’s-eye perspective. Although this piece of paper contains some major differences, that’s for sure. Unlike the New World, the players already managed to map out the entire Old Continent, that is why I am so familiar with the sight that is right in front of my eyes.

Then we have some strange-looking penguins on the left side of the map, two colored dots of both blue and crimson right in the center of it, and then a strange green color around the head…… Yeah, there is no doubt about it in my mind anymore.

「Oi, what the hell? No, seriously, you’ve got to be kidding me here……」

In terms of shock value it was something akin to an oversized bomb. Something about the sheer look of it made me feel dizzy on the spot. Not to mention that if I decided to reveal that thing to the world, the entire existence of Tottori the Simane’s mapping guild would lose its reason. And their value would instantly plummet to the ground.

Why is this thing such a big of a deal? Well, that’s because one piece of paper like that holds enough information on it that would be enough to reveal about half of the secrets of this entire world. Or at the very least that’s what I think of it. And what is this thing supposed to be? Is that the image of the Primordial Beast, or something like that? And that thing? Is this supposed to be the image of a feature of every single region that the New Continent has to offer? But even if we subtract all of that juicy information, one thing is perfectly clear from this map. And it’s the image representing a small island just south of the New Continent.

「Hmm?」

And what do we have here? Is this the image of a torn-up wing? And that thing right next to it? Is that supposed to be mottled skin? Then we have the ellipse, kind of like the shape of a French baguette, extending from the very top of the black circle…… Hmm? Could this pictogram depict what a bunny is supposed to look like?

「Rabbitz, huh……?」

When it comes to Rabbitz, this place is wide. Like, ridiculously wide. In terms of sheer size, it might be as big, or who knows if it’s not even bigger than Thirdrema. But oh well, in reality I guess that the vast majority of its territories are just farmlands, so aside from that there is nothing really that much worth seeing there. …… Also, it seems that Rabbitz is surrounded from all directions by strange things and occurrences such as fog walls, so no matter how hard you try to look, you would never really see what lies beyond the horizon. I wonder why a feature like that was implemented there in the first place? Because there has to be a reason for it. I refuse to believe that there is no reason for that at all.

That is exactly why it is located somewhere on the New Continent, or maybe even an offshore island somewhere in the vicinity of the New Continent. Also, this map was finally able to give me some concluding evidence about some of the questions I might have had previously.

For you see, according to this map, Rabbitz turns out to be an island indeed, and right offshore of the New Continent To the south of it, to be more precise. Does that mean it would be a perfect spot for vacation, like those southern tropical islands? Normally the seas and oceans in this game are supposed to be one hell of a watery nightmare to traverse, something that you would most definitely like to stay away from as far as possible. However, the waters around Rabbitz are supposed to be quite calm and shallow to boot. But according to Alva’s words, there are ferocious creatures that live in the sea, such as bipedal sea anemones and other creatures just like that.

But alright now, let’s just get back to the main subject at hand. This map is right here…… I am fairly sure that since Giants were redrawing it from generation to generation, it must mean that its current design is pretty much spot on with the original that was drawn all those years ago.

And the fact that this picture also relates to that old “promise” that Weissash made with the Giants, it must also mean that this “arrow” was once hand-drawn by Weissash himself.

「Let’s see…… Hmm, this arrow leads all the way from Rabbitz over the sea and throughout the frontline base. And then we have some sort of a strange circle that is drawn way over on the Old World side of the map……」

Now then, Big Bro…… Just what on Earth are you scheming? What is it that you are trying to pull off here?
