Special Battle Element “Colored Dragon Disaster”
As a special ruling in the decisive battle phase, the colored dragons gather on the battlefield and also become part of the Unique Scenario EX.
・ Black Dragon Noirlind
In this Unique Scenario EX, if the players manage to maintain a certain degree of friendship with the Black Dragon, it will participate in the battle as an assist on the player side. The Black Dragon does not aim for the player unless he earns aggro such as attacking and excessive verbal provocation. Target for elimination.
・ White Dragon Bryleinego
For this particular Unique Scenario EX the White Dragon migrates towards the frontline base established by the players and it is supposed to be a “gimmick” based boss. It will continue to generate smaller white dragons ceaselessly when the number of participating players in the battle is greater than one hundred. Its aim is the complete annihilation of every player character it comes across. Target for elimination.
・ Green Dragon Brockentreed
In this particular Unique Scenario EX, the Green Dragon is a “gimmick” boss character whose aim is to seek out and annihilate a specific player amongst the entire participating playerbase. The Green Dragon accumulates mana scattered all over the field and consumes it to fight the players. Its goal is to seek out and destroy its “nemesis” player. Target for elimination.
・ Red Dragon Red Howl
In this particular Unique Scenario EX, the Red Dragon will participate in battle as one of the “gimmick” bosses. It is part of the objective needed to clear this Unique Scenario EX, “destroy all the colored dragons” or “destroy Siegwurm”. While prioritizing its own survival, it will attack the players, NPCs, and the enemy mobs indiscriminately. Target for elimination.
・ Blue Dragon Eldranza
Did not participate in this particular Unique Scenario EX due to being defeated before the decisive battle took place.
Story setting of Siegwurm, the Heavenly Emperor:
Long, long ago, in the Era of the Gods, Siegwurm was created as a means of countering the corrupting effects of the “Origin” and with the intent of pushing it away…… This action was known as the “Avti Virus Dragon Plan” and it was the main concept of fighting back against the Origin until eventually the “6.6.6 Plan” was conceived…… As a side note here, Siegwurm was one of many attempts at creating the Anti Origin weapon, but the only one that turned out to be a success. His true identity is hence the weapon that fights against the primordial forces of this world.
At that time, there was a fundamental problem that the current humanity needed to face: that problem was the fact that the seeds of current humanity were not at all compatible with the mana particles. The Anti-Beast program established by Alice Frontier’s technical division was to solve this problem and it was based on the experimental results of the “Frontier Report”, aimed to develop new products with the main purpose of controlling manna particles……
The end product of those endeavors was Siegwurm. A construct of the body with a huge amount of mana particles themselves, and a successful experiment of separating thinking ability and mana control by the biological program stream with reference to the Second Frontier Report.
This allows Siegwurm to transform his qualities into such things as “regeneration,” “reproduction,” “incinerator,” etc., which gives him an advantage by depriving the primordial Origin of the much needed mana particles they need to sustain themselves. It is a feature that was impossible in every other case.
However, dealing with the failure of ABCED-αPlan and the birth of “──”, and the subsequent release of the “Immortal”──” proved to be too much. As a result, each front collapsed which resulted in the maintenance of Siegwurm becoming increasingly harder to achieve, and then becoming impossible to do…… but then the 6.6.6 Plan crumbled to dust and was ultimately deemed a failure.
–––––– In reality, at the time when the Q.E.D Plan was drafted, Siegwrum’s role was only to protect B-2 “Leviathan” and B-3 “Behemoth”, which remained as the palace of the gods who fled from the imminent destruction.
This led to improving the 6.6.6 Plan. After the completion of the plan and the establishment of the Q.E.D Plan…… Sieg Lindwurm, the last human being who had command over Siegwurm and the parent scientist who created Siegwurm. With his death, the golden breakwater became a left-behind defeated soldier, left to his own devices.
Siegwurm’s creators did not grant him permission to use the Wide-Area Pollution Self-Destruction function until the very last moment, and gaining the undesired freedom, Siegwurm remained at a loss for a long time. Much time has passed since that moment, and a new generation of human beings who filled the Earth made contact with Siegwurm, who at the time was calling himself the “Siegwrum of the Anti-Beast Dragon Project”.
Ever since then…… The number of dragons across the land continued to increase, and Siegwurm’s status increased to that of the Golden Dragon King. And then, with the emergence of the Seven Strongest Monsters of this world, he also gained the status of one of the Unique Monsters. Thus, Siegwurm the Heavenly Emperor was born.
He has but only one ambition, only one desire…… to finally be defeated by someone’s hands. …… But until that can happen, a new generation of human beings needs to show up and gain enough power and experience. So until that moment arrives, Siegwurm continues to watch over the world, guiding its people and fighting any sight of primordial Origin that would occasionally show up from time to time. And if the new generation of human beings is to stand up to the Origin as well, Siegwurm needs to be the trial that they must overcome at some point.
In other words, Siegwurm the Heavenly Emperor is the guardian of the newly formed life, the new humanity. But at the same time he is the final test that the new humanity will one day need to overcome if they hope to ever advance beyond their own limits.
As a side note, most of the time Siegwurm is going to retain a state of inactivity, only springing into action as the result of direct actions by the players. This is all part of the programming imbued into his system by his creators. Originally, Siegwurm was supposed to be a “father” figure for the new generation of Dragons to come, but as the time went on it was established that he would from now on sit at the very apex of dragonkind as the “Heavenly Emperor.” That is the origin of the present day Siegwurm.
Siegwurm, the Heavenly Emperor perishes, and because of his nature he will never come back to life.
However, when we say Siegwurm, what do we even mean by that? Do we mean by that Siegwurm as an individual? Or maybe a collective of ideas that was known as Siegwurm, the Heavenly Emperor? That we will never know, and it will be purely an object of speculation.
–––––– The golden cogs keep on turning, round and around. When the end comes, death soon follows. And then after death comes, a new life takes place of the life that was lost. Thus comes the cycle of death and rebirth.
This is the last function that Sieg Lindwurm programmed for his creation.
