ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 547: The Ordeals Before the Hardships Part 2
First of all, I am strong. In fact, I AM THE STRONGEST.
But it’s not that I am invincible or anything like that. Sure, I am probably stronger than your average player out there, but at the same time I am more that sure and aware that there are other players out there who are stronger than me. I simply happen to exceed the vast majority when it comes to robustness and on-the-spot ingenuity. Or maybe it’s just that I am better at simply beating others to death before they have the chance to beat me to death.
Of course, it’s not like I would let myself be killed that easily. But it’s better to avoid unnecessary conflicts rather than taking part in them, am I right or am I right? But what do I do now? Conquest Dolls were all NPCs, but they are the kind of NPC who seem the be able to reason with. That is, it should be able to avoid unnecessary bloodshed with them. At least for now, that is.
First of all, there is no doubt about it that I would have to face off against Orchestra one more time. And I am sure that it won’t be an easy battle, so it would be nice to consult the “Library” for some much needed advice here.
Normally I would never choose to do such a thing, but at the current moment I happened to be in quite a bit of a pickle and I most certainly could not allow myself to be picky about my methods and allies. So I try my best to smile and act like Pencilgton would in a situation like that, even if that made me cringe all over deep down inside of me.
I mean, if I was not intending on defeating Orchestra, I would have torn up that invitation the moment I happened to acquire it. But because I have chosen to accept it, then I am under an obligation now: an obligation to bring the Orchestra down.
In other words, I don’t care about anyone else or the Conquest Dolls. If they want to stop me, great! Let them try! We’ll see how it will go for them! Hopefully, others won’t be as stupid as to try and interfere where they do not belong……
Now this is kind of troubling. After all, my brain is not used to this level of consideration from other people. So what do I do now? After all, I am feeling kind of tired. Do I want to take a break here?

JGE…… The full official name here should stand for Japan Gaming Expo.
This is a Japanese-only, nationwide-scale event dedicated solely to gaming where various gaming competitions would be held and various companies from all over the world would introduce their new titles to the general public.
When it comes to GGC, it is an event held every year in a different country, so it was only a stroke of luck that this year it was being held in Japan. But this is an exhibition that introduces Japanese games for Japanese people and much more.
「Umm, this is…… How did you……?」
「Iwamaki-san knows some people here and there. And sometimes those connections can come with surprising benefits.」
That much was a fact here.
And as was expected from someone with a whole lot of connections and influence, it was too easy for him to have preferential treatment and acquire a double ticket for the Expo seemingly overnight. Although all game companies are supposed to be treated equally, there are of course those who are way higher and way lower in the industry’s ladder. So while the utopian idea of equality was all nice-sounding and all that, it was nothing but a child’s dream that would never come to pass.
「This ticket is for two people to use and allows them to receive some special, V.I.P treatment…… You know where I’m going with this, don’t you?」
