ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 582: The Gentle Jail Called Entertainment Part 2
248: Virgo
Maybe it would be possible to try to make the human roulette take pity on the players? You know, make it drop its guard and then strike it down the moment it is least expecting it?
249: Poor Blade 2
No, I don’t wanna do that! No matter how you look at it, trying to actually fight this thing clearly means getting yourself executed in a very gruesome fashion! Can’t we all just get along here and play our children card games together like good lads we are?
250: Torque
Whoa there, did not expected to see some philosophical divagations. Especially not here on a forum like that. I guess that world always finds a way to surprise you, huh?
251: Bricks Fangs
To be completely honest with you all, guys, I would be down to just repeating the forty fifth floor multiple times.
252: Hairground Penguin
Rumors has it that it possesses some sort of super-fast aggro or something like that. Ususally the fight goes in such a way that whoever tries to fight it, goes down in like two turns or so.
253: Brick Fangs
Two turns? Oh wow, I’d take that any day of the week! In my case I’m usually send packing after a measly one turn and that’s it.
254: Torque
Huh? You don’t say……?
255: Mani Specter
From my experiences alone, the most devastating of attacks come as the first attack on the second turn. It’s been like that every time I tried to do this, without fail.
255: Brick Fangs
I mean, there is always a chance of passing the fight if you are going to survive the very first attack, as well as drawing up a “Diversity Violence” that means that ever since the very first attack you are pretty much screwed.
After all, the card pool is decided for each player individually. And there is no way of circumventing that. At least that I am aware of one.
257: Shirafu Shirasu
I think it’s true rare for that, but it’s expensive
258: Danmacho
No, if you get out of Leviathan and encounter a new monster, then you are basically going to feel as though they are showering you with gold and items for free, basically.
At the very least, it’s way quicker than paying a lot of money and increasing the card pool with True Rare, that’s for sure.
259: Time tag
The only thing I can easily say for certain is that is the one who has never been hit by a “Scarlet Wounds” on a regular basis while going places.
260: Jack the Pot
That was really scary. I thought I could hear a roaring roar, but when I pulled out of the Forest of Trees area, and reached the place that was burned by that dragon breath, I screamed so much that I thought I might have actually damaged my throat.
261: Yashiro Bird
So, does anyone know how to rig the slot machines in the Players; favor? Because surely someone must have tried doing just that, right?
262: Hairground Penguin
That is my dream, at the very least. But the reality if oftentimes way more cruel than any dream. In reality, this is just a pure luck game that combines probability theory with even more probability theory.
263: Shirafu Shirasu
I managed to get through that blasted desert, but only barely. Also, I have witnessed a few other players being eaten alive by sandworms. I won’t lie, it was pretty traumatizing of an experience.
264: Sandwich
I wonder if it’s a design that works in such a way that you can sit down and challenge other areas only after you can easily traverse this one. Kind of like a forest leading into a few different locations.
265: Yashiro Bird
I would really like to hit that slot machines jackpot if I could help it…… Their bonus seems to be really solid……
266: Jack the Pot
Did somebody called me? Therefore, here I am!
267: Torque
Is that perhaps the taste of the shitty LMG hobby that I am both tasting and smelling in here?
268: Virgo
>> 266
No, not you. You just sit down.
269: Miriko
Unlike some of the peashooters available in the first and second layers, the Brave Fish-chan promises that the highest level of Amber Jack pass is going to grant us the access to some weapons that will truly pack one hell of a punch. And I think that we have no real reason to doubt her about that.
270: Yashiro Bird
Oh yeah, that! Exactly that!
The firearms that you can buy from the vending machines are not all too weak, but they are at the same time not strong enough to make you feel overpowered. They feel just right to fend off some of the weaker monsters. Which is all good in my opinion.
271: Time tag
If that was really the case here, it would be like trying to shoot the dinosaurs with a small caliber weapons and being confused as to why a strategy like that is not working at all.
272: Cole Takeshi
This is the Information summary that was done based on the information that we managed to get on our own, supplemented by some much needed intel coming from the Brave Fish-chan.
・ There are multiple routes leading from the Third Layer “Giban” to the fourth layer “Machine Town”.
・ As far as we know:
– Make a big hit with a human roulette (you become a ball on the roaring roulette and jump into the number you are looking for)
– Break through the ninety ninth floor of the tower to win in the trading card game “Philogenetic Geoglyph” that can be played on board the “Leviathan”.
– Manage to score a jackpot in one of slots machines available on board the Leviathan (every single one of the five slots in the machine needs to stop at the slot with the “Jackpot” written on it.)
– Get the perfect score of ten thousand by betting tickets in the casino and manage to achieve the first place in all of the horse races that are available in the gambling hall.
– Get a high score of nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine points on the Gravity Board minigame (it seems that you can physically fly to the next layer that way, which is really interesting in its own right)
273: Shiratama
Huge regular thx.
I would really like to doubt that, but honestly I don’t think that anyone is going to be able to clear that boss battle anytime soon.
274: Danmacho
Yeah, I knew it: there is also that thing that the number of players who managed to actually reach the third layer on their own is extraordinarly small for some reason.
275: Hairground Penguin
Then, as a senior who has managed to reach the Third Layer, it is your sacred duty to help out your juniors who are all suffering the cruel reality of the Second Layer, don’t you think?
276: Darmacho
No, no way! There is no way in hell that I am going to put myself through fighting that pseudo-intelligence meatbag ever again!
