I twist the grip of the steering wheel to jump away, activate the booster in the air and rotate about one hundred eighty degrees…… And then Gravity Control is activated here! Stick to the ceiling and jump over all the wire traps that the enemies have set up!!

Before coming here, Fox was in charge of security, but just because other crew members are not good at it does not mean that they cannot play puzzle games that the security locks are all about. However, Fox had the highest percentage of correct answers when it comes to those things……And above all else, there was also the aspect that it was all possible for Fox to do because other team members were protecting his ass during hacking. I’m not scared of dying here. Such emotions may come to me, but I always shake them off because they are of no use to me in such situations. This voice is certainly that of Rhino, and when I notice that fact and look back behind me, I can see a figure of a giant in a Power Armor rushing straight towards me, utilizing his Power Armor to the fullest, seemingly bringing the damned thing to the point of overheating. Apparently, he must have broke through the enemies by force over there, but…… Unlike me, who decided to try and avoid confrontation at all cost, he seemed to have decided to go straight for it from the very beginning, consequences be damned. And seeing the active booster on his back it is pretty easy to understand what it is that he wanted to do here. Apparently he wanted to break straight through the gate, as you would assume from the huge impact bomb that he was carrying in his left arm. I mean, that thought also crossed my mind, but I would never have enough balls to actually go and see the deed done through till the end!
「Rhino, receive!」
「Sure thing! I’m sorry, but I’m not gonna let you die in here! You and that bike of yours!!!!!!」
When I leave through the teleportation gate, Rhino plunges himself into it right behind me. Then I hand him over the shock bomb and Rhino takes it from me, about ready to throw it away. Ahh, I see, so that is his plan here, just catching it and throwing it as it is……
「TOUCHDOWN –––––––––!!!!!!!!!」
「No, I don’t really think that this thing applies in here!」
Then there was that big explosion. Thank you for all that you have done so far, Rhino, your sacrifice is never going to be forgotten…… And I’m sorry. We tried to do our best here, but we made a mistake and now you had to pay a price for it. But I promise that I’ll find a way to make it up to you somehow!
「But rejoice, our ally! Surely, that last action of yours managed to open up a path for us……!」
When it comes to riding the motorcycles, I’m not all that experienced but I’m not also unskilled. So for now let us prioritize being glued to the steady surface over pressing forward. Sometimes it’s the best course of action. After all, the thing that video games are all about is that momentary sense of accomplishment. There will be a time for regrets, but that time shall come later, after everything is said and done. Right now, we must make sure to push through with this until the end.
「Both Wolf and Python still seem to be alive…… But should I wait for them? Or maybe go ahead without them?」
Saying that I close the party members window where yet another one name seemed to be missing now, and then I look towards the command center in the distance…… Yeah, let’s go. It’s high time to end this battle once and for all.
