ShangriLa Frontier Chapter 600: Copy the Snake, Listen to the Burning Cry Part 5
The two people continued to shout. And it was looking very comedic because one person was a small woman that looked like a child and the other person was a tall man that looked like a barbaric giant. The man was wearing a suit of armor that looked it would require a considerable amount of strength to use, and the woman has a really aggressive look on her face and was wearing a brightly colored dress that surely was more for presentation and decoration rather than defensive purposes.
The barbaric knight and the woman looked like a stereotypical members of the Hero party from a typical fantasy setting, or something really similar to that, depending on who would look at them…… The strange thing here was that the woman’s arms were strangely muscular and huge, way bigger than that of the knight. It was so odd that it was even grotesque.
「…… Just admit it! You are scared shitless of that half-naked, scarred dude!」
「S-Say what!? Bullshit! There’s no way that’s true! O-sama said so as well: “As long as there are muscles, there is a way!”」

「This whole Ortis Augustus…… You keep repeating his name as if he was some hot bigshot, but I guess he’s nothing all that special to begin with, huh……?」
A slight correction here: it should be Most Muscular, but the NPC from inside of the game obviously would not be aware of the fact that it was a mistake done on purpose. And the man surely was not going to let her in on that secret anytime soon. And since they were approaching the frontline base from the side opposite of that of Sanraku’s, there was no way that anyone there would hear them quarrelling here.
That is also why they were on the side that would receive the least amount of damage, as a matter of fact.

「Fuhyuhyiii!?」
「Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! My arm! Don’t pull on my arm like that! You’re gonna break it!!!」

「OOOHHH ––––––––––––!? (The sound of a sudden screaming followed by more sudden screaming)
A slight correction here.
In the reaction to “sound” that both of them have heard so suddenly coming from way over the other side of the Sea of Trees, they have suffered some slight damage. But they could consider themselves to be lucky that they were not at the epicenter, where the damages could have been way worse.

「–––––– I can feel it, someplace else, there are other “mes” gathering……」
It was far away, so far away. This place right here was located on the far West side of the New Continent, and it was called “Colla Del Sol Mountain”. It was a place where a large tailed beast was slumbering in peace, and thanks to the unique ecosystem around here it allowed the beast to grow to a pretty gigantic size as well as grow in immense power.
The monster opened its large jaw and let out a huge and long yawn, and its skin and horn shone magnificently in the light of the waking day…… And its torso was so large and wide that it would easily crush the four Naga snakes underneath itself if it wanted to do so. It would also be able to make any smaller enemy to disappear from this world without a trace.
「Unpleasant, unpleasant, unpleasant, so unbelievably, incredibly unpleasant…… When I close my eyes, and when I open my eyes…… Aaahh, why am I so unpleasant that it makes me so depressed and anxious all the time?」
There is no one who could possibly read the emotions that float in the eyes of the monster. They seem to burn like a flame, or they seem to be as cold as ice. And they seemed to be like a wind that will continue to blow no matter what…… However, there is no way of shaking those eyes off of their mark, and they will continue to look without growing tired or blinking.
「Oh, cute children of mine, venture into the vast world and grow in power…… For the time of the battle grows ever so closer, and those who won’t be ready are going to get annihilated.」
Such were the words that the Goldunine the Inexhaustible spoke, her eyes staring far into the distance as if waiting for something to happen.

In order for the Plan B to succeed, it would have been ideal for Emul to get off of my head and let me work in peace. The reward items acquired from me participating in the battle against the Wandering Pandemic was different from the ones obtained from the Great Red Devourer, but it should be obvious that participation prize would always be worse than the main prize. But still, I wore it the moment I got it…… And the way in which I started to perceive the world around me gradually started to change.
The thing that I happened to obtain as my participation prize was easy to carry Head Equipment Piece “Frequency – Fire Header –“. And rather than having it equipped on your head you are supposed to carry it around. And the moment that I have put this thing on my head, it started to burn. Like, really, really bad.
「S-Sanraku-san!?」
「No, no problem here…… Everything is alright. Alright, let’s proceed with carrying out Plan B, Sigma!」
「Understood: Deploying the Launching Unit. Individual named Emul, individual named Wimp, it is advised for you to cover your ears.」
「I-It’s that dangerous, this thing?」
「Sure is. Especially if you set the volume up to the max.」
Just who the hell do you think I am? It says here that it will continue to sing until the world is about to end and then a day longer, so let’s heat just how much truth there is to that…… Listen to that sound! And if you happen to be too close to it, well…… I guess that your eardrums are going to explode! Alright! Ready or not, here we go!

The night slowly comes to an end and the sun starts to peek out its way from beyond the horizon. It was then that we all heard a heavy bass-like voice that sounded like a sonorous warcry ––––––!!
