I was listening to the conversation between Rei-san and the “Brave Fish” while being completely still, just like some mob character in a third rate MMO. But Rei-san who came up with the complete answer to the NPC’s dilemma so flawlessly that I can only think that in her own mind those words must have been true. I would personally try to rush this conversation in order to get it over with as soon as possible, mostly because I do not care about love and romance stuff in a game like this, but also because this is an action game and not a dating sim…… I mean, if you want to have romance in a game like that, you need to think about your answers carefully, manage your in-game time, and take the likes and dislikes of everyone around you into consideration all the time. Honestly, for me it would feel like such a torture that I would want to throw the game away after about ten minutes of gameplay or so. Is there really any meaning for different heroines to have different models and likes/dislikes in the end? In any case, once you go abroad and try to romance about eleven people all at once, their faces will eventually start to look the same to you no matter what you do. That’s just the way it is……

That being said, it’s not like I have done anything all that praiseworthy, so why is it that I can feel so proud somewhere inside of my chest? ……Oops, right now I should say somewhere inside of my bust, wahahaha!!!
…… Not that I would be able to crack a joke like that in real life. But I can’t say it in here, either. Not when Rei-san is here with me. It would be really rude and obnoxious. So let’s just keep silent for now. After all, I’m a man who knows the value of silence…… But sometimes if you don’t speak up, the bugs will never be fixed. But if you complain about in a rude fashion, the nerfs might go a little bit too far…… So yeah, keep silent, but know when to speak up in an appropriate way.
「But still, Rei-san. That answer was nothing short but perfect.」
「Huh? Ahh, no, it’s just, I mean…… I think that I might have been a little bit pretentious here…… After all, I do not have enough experience under my belt to be teaching others about those things……」
「No, no, no! It was not pretentious in the slightest! Rei-san, you sounded really confident, as though those words were coming straight from your heart! I would have never color you that type, to be honest……」
「This is…… Straight from the heart and liking it……. Liking it……!?」
Oh, it’s a bug. Rei-san bugged out once more. What was it that he was about to say right now? Was it something about liking? Killing? No, Rei-san is not like those chumps from Bakumatsu Online, so she would never do that. Maybe she just made a mistake or bit her tongue……? Well, it’s okay either way to me. Now that the “Brave Fish” cutscene is officially over, are we ready to proceed forward?
「Say, “Brave Fish”? I managed to capture the Leviathan overnight as I declared…… but that wasn’t my only purpose in coming here. I needed to capture Leviathan for a really specific reason.」

You can check the image of the screenshot item taken out from the inventory even in the game. What I saw was a strange screenshot of a music player buried in the wall.
