Could it be that this is just a coincidence? It certainly seems like a natural enemy to some people and monsters, something that may be similar in nature to Orchestra, but not nearly as powerful and hard to defeat. However, myself as a mostly melee fighter centered around Critical Hits, I can already tell that this fight is going to be one major pain in the ass to successfully accomplish.
Oh well ,alright then, Newton-kun! You may think that without melee option and Critical Hit option there is nothing I can do to defeat you, but I still have options available to me, thank you very much! I still have skills that can make this situation work, even though they may not be supporting high-speed combat. As you are surely to find out in just a moment!

Sigma and Emul are supporting the fighters with volleys of magical attacks (or at the very least attacks based on Magical Power). So far all of their attacks have been clear hits, but damage-wise it was like splashing water over burning coals.
No, it only seems to be tough because I see it that way, it looks like a humanoid with tentacles bundled together and wearing a skirt, but the upper body is actually shaped like that person is macho no matter how you look at it, right? I mean, that is kind of what you get when your Vitality is so high.
Although I can still hear the annoying screaming of those who are going against Maxwell over there, those are still front line players over there. They should all understanding how fighting against powerful enemies works, how to draw their attacks and how to stay alive for as long as possible.
I’ve been attacking several times already, so I want to believe that the clearing conditions are met, but at worst I need to defeat Newton all on my own here……

And it seems that it is unbearable for any monster to have a nail shot into its body, even if this body is nothing more but a collection of tentacles. I confirmed that this would be an effective hit from the anguish and wriggling around of my opponent that showed this kind of reaction for the first time in forever, and then loaded the next bullet……
Either that, or it was simply because of the sheer destructive power of that blast right now.
