According to Reiji, as somebody who regularly goes to collect materials for the Crystal Nest Cliff, there must be no end to the knowledge that I might actually possess about that place. So if you were ever going to ask someone about it, I would be the obvious choice here.
But according to Tsuchinoko, how do you really capture that place nice and easy? After all, the moment you set your foot in there, that place turns into an instant death gimmick trap. No, I don’t really know that, most because the way I chose to do things. It might actually be different for other players. But now, even if you were to fly and do not touch the ground, it seems that the Scorpions are going to activate regardless.
According to some other Player, it seems that Reiji climbed from around the middle of the valley and invaded the Crystal Nest Cliff somewhere right in the middle. Oh, that’s already a good countermeasure, I suppose. If you don’t use the cliff escape route together with aggro cutting strategy, you would just have to jump down the cliff and die, collecting your loot later in a safe way.
But according to Reiji, he also happened to see the Golden Crystal Scorpion at one time completely out of the blue…… No, there is no way in hell that it was the THAT Golden Crystal Scorpion, right? So apparently we can assume that it was something completely different.
According to Reiji, that Golden Crystal Scorpion was clearly following other scorpions around, and it was then that they have all surrounded the poor player who just wanted to take a screenshot of the unusual scene, effectively completely blocking his escape route. And then I guess it was the same business as usual, with turning the player into a ball and playing around with it for a while before eventually becoming bored with them and tossing them aside……
「…… Are you absolutely sure that that other scorpion was following the rest around? Maybe you have seen things differently?」
「I am not really sure what exactly that thing was. It could have been that, but it also could have been something else entirely. After all, you only get to see the name of the monster when you officially enter combat with it, right? So there you have it.」

「Basically, from my experience I can tell you that there are three types of scorpions that appear on the Crystal Nest Cliffs: we have normal Crystal Scorpions, Unusual Crystal Scorpions and Old Crystal Scorpions. The normal Crystal Scorpions from the outer edge of the cliff are seemingly in a hostile relationship with the Unusual Crystal Scorpions of the inner part of the place, but…… The Golden Crystal Scorpions are an entirely different breed from the Unusual ones…… So maybe that’s where the Golden Age is coming from? So maybe this thing is like their king or ruler? Or perhaps someone who stands at the top of the food chain of that place?」
「You…… seems to be awfully familiar with the ecology of that place, huh……?」
「Huh? Ahh, I guess that you can say that I have a little bit of a history with Crystal Scorpions. And that’s putting it lightly. Very, very lightly. Or you can say that we are best of friends.」
「But wouldn’t only a complete psychopath turn their best friends into a weapon of mass murder?」
Hey, they are the ones who are using me as a playing ball from time to time, so I guess that makes us pretty much even, wouldn’t you agree?
For the time being, while everyone heading towards the next level started to talk about the information regarding the Spirit of Black Death, Memento Mori and the pros and cons of American Football over any other sport out there, I had my own things to think about. Not to mention that every face belonging to the “Library” is turned towards me, looking to squeeze as much information out of me as humanly possible. I guess to them I am nothing more but a human encyclopedia, huh? And I guess that this is kind of okay, because I wish to use their knowledge as much as possible as well.

Yeah, it was something really crazy. Like, crazy big of a number. It was a major pain in the ass for sure.
However, looking back, the uniqueness itself is relatively easy, just because the conditions for the uniqueness to occur are demonic doesn’t really change that fact. All you have to do is catch that Shitty Princess and give the Dullahan his precious head back.
