Then the Scorpion straightened its stance and smashed its tail against the ground while not letting its eyes off of us even for a moment…… Its stinger, or maybe it was even a sword as well, since it was way too thick now to be called a mere stinger, thrashes about the place, as if the King was making a declaration towards its enemies. Now, is it really okay for me to try and take this guy out? Now, even though I might have said that, actually slashing this thing is pretty much of an impossible endeavor. Even if I make a Critical Hit against it, with my current greatsword, it would only suffer damage to its blade and that’s it. And I was putting all of my strength into those slashes, too! It looks like the Excalibur used by Rei-san’s sister Saiga-100, so let’s dub it “Holy Sword”, shall we? …… Yes, that’s right. From now on, “Holy Sword” it is.

I know that this technically is not a Turn Based Strategy game, but if I were to hazard a guess here, then the next move of the King Scorpion should be “Royal Gold Generation”. It was apparently trying to keep us occupied while it was trying to get its “holy Sword” out of the ground where it was lodged in after all that thrusting and slashing. Overall it was something that was easy to avoid, but there were three swords in here that I needed to watch out for, and it was complicating the matters by quite a lot. So even if I managed to avoid one of them, there are still other two that I needed to concern myself with. Whoa there, are you going to fully deploy the sword scissors and try to give me a hug with it……!? However, before it managed to assemble the scissors properly, there was a rain of bullets that struck its side and stopped its movements in their tracks. Or at the very least it managed to slow the generation of the “Royal Gold Generation” slightly.

「Predicting effectiveness: almost nonexistent…… Isn’t this method way too barbaric?」
